How to fix error F08 on a Whirlpool washing machine

Whirlpool automatic machines are distinguished by their build quality, reliability and high washing efficiency, and serve their owners faithfully for a long time. However, not a single household appliance is completely immune from breakdowns. For example, a situation may occur in which the user starts the washing process, the machine starts working normally, but after a while it stops and displays error code F08. We’ll talk further about what this designation means and what actions to take to fix the breakdown.

What would that mean?

A similar code may appear on the digital display at any washing step. It indicates that the temperature of the water in the tank does not correspond to the parameters specified by the program. This kind of malfunction on a Whirlpool washing machine can indicate either a minor problem or a serious defect that only a qualified technician can handle. It also happens that the error appears due to a short-term failure, and in fact there is no breakdown.

Before you undertake repairs yourself or invite a specialist, you need to make sure that this is not a normal malfunction of the washing machine. To do this, follow these steps:

  • reboot the automatic machine: turn it off, unplug the cord from the outlet, plug it back into the power supply and press the power button. This method usually solves about 80% of problems; when you reboot, it is quite possible that the error code will disappear as unexpectedly as it appeared;
  • If you changed the programmed parameters of the selected washing mode (heating temperature, spin speed), it is likely that the machine is simply “capricious” and does not want to put up with the discrepancy between the settings you specified and the factory characteristics of the washing program.

If you have rebooted the unit and made sure that even with the standard parameters of the washing mode, this fault code appears on the display, you should start looking for a breakdown. Where to begin?

Priority actions

Even if not only the symptoms, but also the error code on the display clearly indicate the presence of a breakdown, you should not immediately take up the tool or take the washing machine for repair. First you need to perform a simple check and make sure that you can’t do without disassembling the machine.

Wrong program selected

A common reason why laundry is excessively damp after washing is simply turning off the spin cycle. Modern Whirlpool models give the user wide scope for setting parameters, as a result of which this mode was disabled intentionally or unintentionally. Before you panic, you should take a look at the display panel. If delicate washing or soaking is selected, the machine operates normally.

Imbalance

Washing machines do not like to be overloaded. Excessive amounts of laundry in the drum, as well as improper placement of it, can cause rapid wear of the bearings and, consequently, failure of the machine. Often Whirlpool machines slow down the engine speed to avoid breakdowns.

This situation can only arise in the case of older models that do not provide protection against incorrect loading. In any case, if there is an imbalance, it is enough to remove a little laundry, or rearrange it and start the wash again.

Clogged hose or drain

Another reason for poor-quality spinning, which cannot be attributed to breakdowns, is a blockage in the sewer, kinking or blockage of the drain hose. Poor drainage capacity results in slow water removal, high load on the pump and can cause serious damage.

The hose is removed. It is necessary to carefully inspect its surface for kinks. Often the washing machine is installed close to the wall, squeezed into a corner, the hose can be crushed, which reduces its throughput.

Filter is dirty

Another important detail that may be responsible for the slow drainage of water, as a result of a poorly functioning spin cycle, is the filter. Its task is to collect small particles that have come off the laundry during washing. The filter in a Whirlpool washing machine is located at the bottom right of the housing. It is covered with a decorative panel.

Before starting work, you need to prepare rags, as well as a container to collect the water that remains in the tank and pipes. The filter is unscrewed, washed, and replaced if necessary.

Let's limit the range of breakdowns

The heating element, a tubular heater, is responsible for heating the water in the washing machine tank. In most cases, the F08 designation occurs precisely when the heater fails. If this is indeed the case, you need to replace the part with a new one. But a malfunction of the heating element is not the only reason for the appearance of such an error. The code can mean something else.

  1. Pressostat malfunction. Problems with the water level sensor can lead to uncontrolled intake and release of water automatically. The liquid simply does not have time to heat up to the set temperature.
  2. Failure of the temperature sensor. When the thermostat stops functioning, the water heats up too slowly, or vice versa so quickly that its temperature at the moment becomes much higher than the set one. The temperature sensor will transmit “false” information to the central unit, and the control module will thereby issue false commands to various systems of the unit.
  3. Defect in the control electronic module (controller), which is the “brain” of the washing machine. When it breaks down, there are problems with the normal functioning of the machine. It may be necessary to reflash or replace the element with a new one.

To begin with, you need to “weed out” the most minor and easily fixable faults. For example, diagnose a heating element, then a pressure switch or temperature sensor, and only after checking that this is not the reason, call a technician who can make a professional decision about the condition and performance of the control module of the Whirlpool automatic machine.

Frequent malfunctions

Statistics on machine malfunctions from Whirlpool show that the most common problems are:

  • The drainage path is clogged.
  • The pump wears out and breaks.
  • The electronic control board is faulty. Most often, control triacs burn out or the mechanical control device wears out.
  • The heater or thermostat fails.
  • The tank seal, pipes or cuff begins to leak.
  • Motor brushes wear out.
  • The drive belt breaks.
  • Motor contacts burn out.
  • Bearings or shock absorbers wear out.
  • A foreign object gets into the machine.

Let's check the heating element

Often error F08 appears as a result of a heater malfunction. You can check the heating element very quickly. To do this, perform the following algorithm of actions (the sequence of steps described will help owners of machines with a front-loading type; for vertical machines, the manipulations will be slightly different):

  • turn off the power to the washing machine;
  • disconnect the drain and inlet hoses from the house utilities;
  • provide yourself with consolidated access to the rear wall of the washing machine;
  • unscrew the bolts holding the back cover;
  • Unscrew the bracket covering the heater.

Important! The heating element is located at the bottom of the machine, under a plastic casing; only by removing the protective cover can you gain access to the contacts of the heating element.

Next, disconnect the power contacts, take a multimeter and connect its probes to the terminals of the heating element, set the resistance on the device to 200 Ohms, analyze the results. If the value on the multimeter screen remains approximately the same as it was set, then the heater is fully operational. When the number 1 appears, this indicates a break inside the part and will have to be replaced. When the device displays the number 0 (or a number very close to zero), it means that a short circuit of the heater can be diagnosed, in which case you will also have to install a new heating element.

If the heater passes the first test with a multimeter, just in case, check it for breakdowns. To do this, switch the test device to buzzer mode. You will be notified that the mode has been selected correctly by a lit light and a characteristic signal that will appear when the wires are connected. Connect one multimeter probe to the heating element terminal, and attach the second to the element body. If the device does not make any sounds, everything is fine; if a characteristic squeak is heard, there are breakdowns in the body of the part, and the heater will have to be replaced.

Tips and prevention of breakdowns

  • To clean the outside of the machine and the control panel, use a slightly damp soft cloth. If necessary, the housing can be cleaned with a neutral household cleaner that does not contain abrasive particles.
  • When the wash cycle is completed and the laundry is removed, the door should be left open for a short time to allow the internal parts of the machine to dry.
  • If you don't wash your clothes at high temperatures or rarely wash them, sometimes run a program that heats the water to 95°C with a little detergent in the tank. This procedure will clean the internal parts of the machine.
  • Since Whirlpool washing machines have a filter to catch foreign objects that may enter the machine with laundry, it must be checked and cleaned regularly - at least 2-3 times a year. To do this, first drain the water, then remove the filter and clean it, as well as the compartment in which it is located. After inserting the filter back and screwing it clockwise until it stops, pour about a liter of water into the drum to check the tightness. Now you can close the lid and connect the machine to the network.
  • To prevent deposits from accumulating in the detergent dispenser, it should be removed from the machine at least 3-4 times a year and washed under running water.
  • Inspect the cover gasket regularly. It is recommended to wipe it with a wet cloth.
  • Inspect the inlet hose regularly to detect cracks and brittle areas.
  • Inspect the inlet hose filter at least 2-3 times a year to clean it if necessary. It is not recommended to immerse the filter in water. A good option would be to use an old toothbrush to clean it.

To prevent breakdowns, you need to perform a number of simple actions that will significantly extend the life of your assistant. These measures are universal and suitable for any brand of washing machine.

The probability of failure for Whirlpool brand washing machines, although lower than for many others, still exists.

But not every malfunction is so serious that you have to call a technician.

In many cases, the owner of the unit is quite capable of repairing it himself, sometimes saving a very significant amount of money. Just first you need to read this article, the topic of which is the Whirlpool washing machine: do-it-yourself repair.

Restoring the functionality of any equipment begins with troubleshooting.

In the case of a Whirlpool washing machine, this task is extremely simplified, because it itself can check the status of its components and display a “diagnosis” on the display in the form of a code of letters and numbers.

Some of the messages indicate that the device urgently needs expert help.

For example, error “F14” (failure in the control system), “F15” (failure of the electric motor) or “F20” (failure to execute commands by the controller). Others, such as error “F03” (no drain), mean a less serious malfunction that the user can fix himself.

Before repairing, in addition to the usual tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) and a multimeter, you should prepare a digital camera or phone with a camera of sufficiently high resolution.

We will take not only “selfies”, but also the wires connected to one or another node before each stage of disassembly. By looking at the photographs taken, it will be possible to connect the wires without errors during assembly of the unit.

The most likely failures are:

  1. An attempt to drain the water did not give the desired result. As mentioned above, in this case the error code “F03” is displayed on the screen (in some models - “FP”).
  2. The washing program cannot be activated or is not followed. This phenomenon may be accompanied by the display of a code “F14”, “F16”, “F20” or another related to the operation of the controller.
  3. The water temperature does not correspond to that provided by the washing program. Corresponding error codes: “F04” (slow heating or no heating), “F05” (temperature sensor does not work), “F08” (heating element failure), “F12” (no water heating in the tank).
  4. Water seeps through the closed door.

Let's see what to do if one of these problems occurs.

The reason that the machine cannot pump out water is most often dirt accumulated in the drain filter. Perform the following operations:

  1. Place a sufficiently large container under the machine and unscrew the plug of the emergency drain hose (located in the same place as the drain filter) to remove water from the machine.
  2. Unscrew the drain filter (you also need to place a container under it), remove all dirt from it.
  3. Using a screwdriver, clear any dirt from the pipe to which the filter is attached.
  4. After starting the machine in drain mode, check whether the drain pump impeller rotates (it can be seen through the hole from the filter plug). If the pump does not work, it must be replaced. To get to this unit, you need to lay the car on its side and remove the tray from it.
  5. If cleaning the filter does not produce results, and the pump turns out to be working, you need to check the level sensor tube for blockages. If it turns out to be clean, you can blow into it to check the functionality of the sensor - it should respond to the pressure difference with a click. A non-functioning sensor must be replaced.

We suggest you familiarize yourself with How to remove mold in an apartment from the walls with your own hands: how to remove it using folk remedies, what and what chemicals to remove at home?

It wouldn’t hurt to wash the filler filter at the same time. It also gradually becomes clogged with rust and sand, which prevent the flow of water (error code - “F13”: water is drawn into the tank slowly).

Inappropriate behavior of the control panel, accompanied by blinking indicators and display or incorrect execution of a given program, is usually associated with malfunctions of the electronics.

All the owner can do in such a situation is to turn off the device for one minute and then restart the startup attempt.

If the picture has not changed, you need to contact a service center: the microcircuit may need to be re-flashed.

Whirlpool AWT2295 washing machine - crack in the tank

In case of insufficient heating of water, as well as its complete absence, the first thing that comes under suspicion is a tubular electric heater - a heating element. Perhaps its resource has been exhausted, or perhaps it burned out prematurely - due to a thick layer of scale deposited on it. You will also have to check the temperature sensor (thermistor). Armed with a wrench, screwdriver and multimeter, do the following:

  1. With the back of the car facing you, remove the back panel.
  2. Find the shank of the heating element protruding from the tank at the bottom of the machine (4 wires are connected to it). In Whirlpool machines, access to the heating element is limited due to an inconveniently located bracket - it needs to be unscrewed.
  3. Disconnect the two outer wires and, connecting a multimeter to the free contacts, measure the resistance. These are the heating element contacts. At room temperature, the device should show a resistance in the range of 20 - 30 Ohms (depending on the power of the heating element).
  4. If the heating element is working, disconnect the two middle wires. The pins they were connected to are the thermistor. Measure its resistance. In Whirlpool machines, the resistance of the temperature sensor at room temperature is 35.9 kOhms. To be sure, you can check the resistance of the sensor after heating with hot water - it should change significantly (when heated to 80 degrees, it usually decreases by 9 times).
  5. The faulty part must be replaced. If this is a heating element, then after removing it, the edges of the hole inside need to be thoroughly cleaned of dirt and salt deposits. To dismantle the heating element, simply remove the plastic shield and unscrew the bolt located between its contacts. The gasket should also be replaced, even if it still appears to be quite suitable.

Often the heating element cannot be pulled out immediately due to the fact that, as they say, it has become stuck. In this case, you can attach a wooden block to the shank and lightly hit it with a hammer.

If water begins to seep through the car door, it means it’s time to change the sealing gasket (cuff).

We follow the instructions:

  1. Open the door completely.
  2. Next, you need to take a fairly thin screwdriver and carefully drive it under the wire clamp that secures the cuff along its outer side.
  3. Having pryed the clamp, you need to gradually remove it by moving the screwdriver to the left or right.
    These actions must be continued until the connection point with the small bolt is found.
  4. Unscrew the bolt a little, after which the clamp can be removed.
  5. Remove the worn cuff and very carefully, without using sharp tools, install a new one in its place.
    This must be an original part designed specifically for this modification of the washing machine. If you install a gasket from another washing machine, the door will not close hermetically.

To make the seal last longer, wipe off any remaining dirty water from it after washing, especially in the lower part.

The substances present in it lead to the loss of rubber elasticity and the appearance of cracks on it.

on the topic

Modern household appliances are easy to use, reliable, and multifunctional. But during the washing process in modern washing machines, malfunctions sometimes occur.

To do this, such household appliances are equipped with a diagnostic system to determine error codes and further correct them. One such striking example is the Whirpool washing machine.

So that you do not have to contact the service center due to simple failures that you can fix yourself, in this article we described all the SMA Whirlpool error codes and further steps to identify and correct them.

Let's check the thermistor

If the heating element has been fully tested and has proven that it copes with its functions perfectly, it’s time to check the thermistor. Just, it is located between the contacts of the heater. To remove the temperature sensor, perform the following manipulations:

  • remove the chip with wiring from the heater contacts;
  • slightly loosen the nut that holds the heating element;
  • Carefully remove the thermostat from the housing.

The temperature sensor is a small metal cylinder. After the thermistor is removed from the washer body, you need to check the resistance in it using a tester.

  • switch the multimeter to resistance determination mode;
  • hook the probes of the device to the contacts of the temperature sensor. For example, if the temperature is 200°C, the resistance should be displayed on the screen, the value of which will be 6000 Ohms;
  • lower the thermistor into warm water, watch the numbers change on the device screen. If the temperature sensor is working properly, the resistance will decrease, so at 50°C it will be about 1350 Ohms.

When the temperature sensor fails, the old part should be replaced. The thermostat cannot be repaired. If the element is fully operational, we continue the diagnostics further.

We will inspect and test the pressure switch

It is easy to provide access to the water level sensor of the Whirlpool washing machine; it is located in the upper part of the unit, directly under the lid. Very rarely the pressure switch is located at the bottom. To get to the part, carefully unscrew the mounting screws and remove the upper wall of the SMA housing, after which the algorithm of actions will be as follows:

  • prepare a tube whose diameter will correspond to the diameter of the pressure switch hose;
  • disconnect the fitting by carefully loosening the clamp;
  • Attach a tube to the pressure hose and blow into it;
  • when the pressure switch is working, you will hear 1 or 3 characteristic clicks;
  • check the sensor for any damage;
  • examine the fitting for blockages;
  • When a blockage is detected, flush the hose with a stream of water from the tap.

If after an external examination no defects were identified, you need to check the pressure switch with a multimeter. The device is switched to resistance measurement mode, the tester probes are connected to the sensor contacts. If the values on the screen change, it means that the contacts are actuated and the pressure switch is working. When the resistance value remains fixed, it means that the liquid level sensor has failed.

So, when you have checked the functionality of the main elements that can trigger the F08 error code, no faults have been identified, you should invite a professional to determine the root cause of the code. After all, the problem may come from the main control board, and it is not recommended to deal with it yourself.

Error codes for Whirlpool washing machines

Repairing malfunctions of the Whirlpool washing machine

The principle of repairing a Whirlpool washing machine is practically no different from other brands. At the moment, SMs are produced, with vertical and horizontal loading, in the territory of the former Soviet Union, vertical ones are more common, but now more and more machines with horizontal loading are being repaired. Here it should be noted that both types have the same weak points, first of all we are talking about the control unit, which really does not like voltage drops. As for the module, it is better not to repair this spare part yourself, but rather give it to a specialist. So, let’s put aside everything that has to do with brains and start talking about what you can do yourself. Next, I will list the error codes of Whirlpool washing machines and will immediately give a full explanation of how to repair a particular malfunction

Whirlpool washing machine errors

There are error codes that can be easily reset by pressing the Start/Pause button twice. Of course, not every error can be reset, for example, if a breakdown related to the heating element is highlighted, then in order to clear this code, you will need to either replace the heating element or change the relay

How to read the error code on a Whirlpool washing machine without a display

Now I’ll tell you a little about Whirlpool washing machines without a display, or rather I’ll explain how to read the code from these washing machines. Below you will see 2 photos of the control panel. The first photo shows the numbering of the LEDs, and the second photo shows an example of an error code and a table by which codes are determined in the SM. The whole point is to detect which indicators are on and then look at the table to see what kind of breakdown is displayed on your SMA, I think everything here is so simple that even a simple layman can count the breakdown

Photo 1. Numbering of indicators on the control panel of the Whirlpool washing machine

Photo 2. Table of error codes for the Whirlpool washing machine

Error code F01 or FH

Over a certain period of time, water did not fill the tank , that is, the water level sensor did not give a signal to the brain that there was the required water level in the tank. Despite the fact that the module directly points to the pressure switch, you need to look at the root of this problem, that is, check everything related to water filling

  • Main water inlet hose . We need to make sure that it is not crushed anywhere. In some models, a mesh is inserted into this hose, it is advisable to wash it, or best of all, unscrew the hose from the washing machine, dip it in a basin and check the water pressure
  • Water intake filter . It is located in the valve body, made in the shape of a fine mesh, to pull it out, you need to take pliers and pull it towards you
  • Water fill valve . You can simply apply 220 volts to the valve, if water flows, then the valve is intact
  • The pressure switch tube is clogged . This happens quite often; you need to get to the water level sensor, remove the tube from it and blow into it. Helps very often
  • The pressure switch contacts are stuck in the empty tank position . At the moment there are two types of sensors: electronic and mechanical. If you have a mechanical one, then you can blow into it and listen to the clicks; if you have an electronic one, then you can only check it by replacing it with a pressure switch that is known to work

Error code F02 or FA

The AquaStop system has activated . This error appears in cases when, after the main supply of water, the washing machine begins to draw again, that is, initially the pressure switch worked and stopped drawing, and then again and again gives a signal to fill with water. As a result, the control module blocks the fill valve. It happens that there is a leak in the tank, that is, something has broken through it. You also need to check the self-draining. In short, we check everything related to unauthorized leakage of water from the tank

Error code F03 or FP

For a certain period of time, the SM did not drain the water . It is very important that before this error code is displayed, the “Sud” code and only then you will see f02. There is no need to immediately change the pump, first you need to thoroughly clean the drain pump filter, the pipe that goes from the tank to the pump body and blow out the drain hose. If this does not help, you can think about replacing the pump and be sure to watch the video, although the procedure is simple, many make the same mistake related to the filter

Error code F04

The water did not have time to heat up in the allotted time . First of all, you need to check the temperature sensor, wires and contacts on it. In my practice, sometimes it happens that the terminal is simply not pressed tightly, and the tongue on the sensor that secures this terminal is completely broken off. At room temperature, the resistance of the water temperature sensor on the Whirlpool washing machine should be about 36 kOhm

Error code F05

The wires of the water temperature sensor are broken, or it is in a closed state . Almost exactly the same as f04, only here the module accurately points to the broken part. First of all, you need to check the wiring and the sensor itself. I indicated the resistance of the temperature sensor for Whirlpool washing machines in paragraph 4. You also need to check this thermistor for current leakage to the housing, in this case you need to check only with a megger, and the scale on it should be at least 20 mOhm

Error code F06

The breakdown is related to the engine tachogenerator . We take a multimeter, put it in the ringing position, connect it to the terminals of the tachometer on the motor and turn the motor shaft, if you hear intermittent sound signals, then most likely the tachometer is intact. On Whirlpools, such a breakdown is rare, but it does happen. Pay attention to the rotation of the engine; usually with such a breakdown it rotates at low speeds or does not rotate at all. You also need to check the wiring that goes to the engine from the module, this malfunction happens much more often. If all this does not help, then look at the control unit

Error code F07

Violation of the engine control circuit . Here you can’t do without a specialist; here you need to check everything related to the main triac of the motor. Many people immediately try to change it, but often the result is negative, since it is necessary to check the entire circuit, including those spare parts that control this triac. I repeat once again, the control module is a complex spare part and I do not recommend trying to repair it yourself, without certain knowledge and skills. Also, this malfunction may be related to the engine, or rather to the fact that the control module simply does not see it. First of all, we check the wires and terminals, both on the brains and on the motor itself. You also need to check the brushes; often they simply wear out. In practice, it happened that the contacts oxidized, as a result of oxidation, the track on the board itself rotted

Error code F08

The water heating element, that is, the heating element, has failed . Don’t rush to rejoice, it’s 50/50, maybe the heating element barked, or maybe the heating element’s relay turned on. In addition, it is imperative to check the heating element for current leakage to the housing. In my practice, it happened that this error popped up when the washing machine motor failed. Be sure to watch the video located at this point, in it I show how to properly check the heating element and the engine. And there is no need to shout that this cannot be, theory and practice are different things. On my YouTube channel, half of the wise guys say that such a check does not give anything, I assure you that this is how it should be checked.

Error code F09

Water is poured above the required level . What nonsense they write about this error, and the fact that there is a lot of foam, and the fact that the pressure switch needs to be changed, and in general all sorts of crap that has nothing to do with this. As for the water level sensor, it is this that gives the signal that there is a lot of water in the tank, so it is somehow wrong to talk about replacing it. First of all, you need to check the valve; it is quite possible that it does not close completely. Also pay attention to self-draining. As for the pressure switch, it rarely fails in Virpuli

Error code F10

The module's thermal protection device has tripped . Simply put, my brain is on fire! First of all, you need to check the motor; it is quite possible that the triac is overheating because of it. It has happened that you come to an application, and the washing machine is standing next to the stove and still leaning against the radiator, this can also cause such an error. Sometimes protection works when the owners do laundry frequently. That is, you need to let the machine rest for at least one hour between washes. If all this doesn’t help, then you need to look at the module, you won’t be able to figure it out without a specialist

Error code F11

Incorrect mains voltage . At the beginning of the article, I said that the Whirlpool CMA control module is very picky about voltage, so if the network is less than 210 volts, your machine may not wash. Call an electrician and restore the network

Error code F12

The washing machine washes in cold water . Here the control unit clearly points to the heating element. This error code is identical to code f08, so I won’t rant too much, just watch the video in the above code

Error code F13

Exactly repeats the code F01 or FH , go up the article and look at the description of this error

Error code F14

All “Kin will be no more” means incorrect EEPROM values , that is, a scribe to the processor

Error code F15

The washing machine motor has failed . I described this breakdown in code f06 and f07, so go up and look at these errors

Error code F16

The control module has failed . In short, call a specialist

Error code F18 or Fod

Increased foam production . We stop the wash at SM, drain the water, remove the laundry from the tank, rinse it in plain water and start washing again. In general, you don’t need to throw a lot of powder

Error code F19

Low voltage in the network . I think everything is clear here, you need to check the socket, plug, measure the voltage, if there is no required voltage, wait for normalization and only then start washing

Error code F20

The control module is malfunctioning . Sometimes simply restarting the washing mode helps; if that doesn’t help, then repairing the control unit will help.

Error code F21

The same crap as f20 only from the side, there is no difference. Why the manufacturer introduces the same errors under different numbers, I don’t know

Error code F22

No one knows the exact designation of this error, but the manufacturer indicates two reasons: either the heating element has failed, or for some reason there is no water flow through the powder container. In short, we check the heating element or look for the reason why water is not poured into the washing machine tank

Error code F23

Again an exact copy of error f01 or FH . We go up to the top of the article and read everything related to it

Error code F24

It takes a long time to fill the tank with water. Although again, this error exactly repeats the F02 or FA code, I still have to mention this code in this material

Error code F26

No engine rotation . First of all, you need to look at the tachometer, it happens that it flies out of its socket and as a result, the brain does not see the rotation of the shaft. You also need to remove the belt from the drum pulley and try to turn the motor shaft by hand. In short, we check everything related to the rotation of the shaft on the motor. It is advisable to check the brushes as well.

Error code F27

The motor only rotates in one direction . First of all, you need to check the reverse relay on the control module

Error code F28

Slow motor rotation . We check everything connected with this, first of all the tachometer, then the relay on the control unit and of course the motor control triac

Error code F31

The software was not updated via the Internet. Complete nonsense, I have never seen such cars, although I think the time is not far off when they will appear in the vastness of the former mighty USSR

FDL error code

The hatch lock is broken . To begin, take a screwdriver and imitate the door hook, that is, you need to push the locking mechanism, as the hook on the hatch pushes it. If the washing machine starts to fill with water, then the lock is working and you need to do something with the mechanism itself; if everything remains the same, change the lock

Error code FDU

The hatch door is not tightly closed . Do the same as in the FDL code. The errors are absolutely identical

Error code bdd

The drum doors are not closed tightly .
Found only in very modern washing machines and only in horizontal washing machines
