How to remove ink stains using acetone?
A powerful solvent such as acetone can cope with many types of stains, and pen marks are no exception.
But you shouldn’t use it in its pure form, since you probably won’t be able to control the situation, and it will simply corrode not only the ink, but also the sheet of paper itself.
It is best to use ordinary acetone-containing nail polish remover.
The point is that the composition of the liquid provides a gentle amount of the necessary product that will help cope with the problem and harm the material.

It must be applied correctly:
- Apply slowly and in small quantities to the contaminated area using a cotton swab, pipette or toothpick;

You can apply the solution without fear of the liquid getting into the nearest areas, because the further procedure, in which hydrogen peroxide is useful, will eliminate all visible flaws.
After application, you need to wait 30 seconds and apply hydrogen peroxide to the same place, which will get rid of not only paper marks, but also bright red potassium permanganate stains.
For maximum cleanliness of the procedure, it is recommended to iron the wet sheet through an absorbent cloth. In this case, the surface will be not only as clean as possible, but also smooth, which is also important.
How to remove gel pen marks
Traces from a gel pen can be removed in the same way as from a ballpoint pen. If none of the methods is suitable, an effective solution based on hydrogen peroxide and potassium permanganate is used. Stages of cleaning paper using this method:
- combine equal amounts of hydrogen peroxide and potassium permanganate in powder form to form a paste;
