• load household chemicals. Most models have compartments for capsules, gel and salt on the inside of the door. For salt, the container can be located inside the dish compartment. To diagnose the operation of the dishwasher, salt must be poured into the compartment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations on the product packaging. Typically the ratio used is ½: 500 g sodium per 1 liter of water. Pay attention to the PMM function: some models do not have the function of automatic recognition and dosage of the product. In this case, the required amount is measured manually, otherwise the machine uses the entire supply in the compartment;
• check the smooth running of the sprayers;
• unscrew the emergency shut-off valve;
• remove the drain filter and wash it manually with a sponge, put it in place;
• check the correct connection of the hoses for water supply and outlet, make sure that the unit is connected to the network.

Advice! Manufacturers often include special test strips for determining water hardness. This allows you to calculate the amount of salt consumed per cycle. The harder the water, the more sodium chloride will need to be poured into the compartment.

Water drainage

This, at first glance, simple procedure for organizing a drain requires compliance with two important conditions.

We do not recommend implementing the method of organizing a drain from a stationary PMM directly into a sink, since the load on the pump increases significantly. We will not even consider options for connecting directly to the sewer, since this is absolutely wrong.

Procedure for first start

Now it’s time to turn on the connected equipment and test it in test mode:

1. Plug in the dishwasher and press the On/Off button on the control panel.
2. Select the detergent type from the panel. Many dishwashers recognize it themselves thanks to sensors in the compartment. If your unit does not have this function, you will have to configure it manually. Don't forget to save your selections before starting.
3. Set up a test program. The longest mode at high temperatures is optimal.
4. Close the door tightly and press Start.
5. During the first PMM cycle, it is necessary to monitor the stability of operation until its completion. All nodes and communication connection points are carefully inspected. In the event of a malfunction or leak, the equipment is turned off and the problems are corrected.
