Reviews

Victoria, 43 years old, Novouralsk. My husband loves to experiment in the kitchen, which is why the whole stove is always stained. I have a persistent allergy to most “store-bought” cleaning products, so I was forced to look for a substitute. I read on the forum about a paste with soda ash and decided to take a risk. The first time the paste was too thick, but I added a little more water. It works great - I apply it to all surfaces and forget it, then I just wipe it with a damp sponge.

Valentina 36 years old, Samara. I have two children who always put stains on their clothes. In order not to throw away T-shirts, I tried removing stains with washing powder based on baking soda. The powder works great even on stains from herbs or sauces.

Alexey, 54 years old, Krasnoyarsk. I never thought that soda gels from soap could clean something. When I read a lot of positive reviews, I decided to try it. Cleans well and washes off easily. I recommend it to everyone!

How to make cleaning product from laundry soap

A lot has been said about how to make dishwashing detergent at home, just as there are many recipes in which soap is the main component. From the auxiliary ingredients you can prepare a liquid, gel, paste and even a dry mixture.

Cooking method

Almost all recipes consist of the most accessible ingredients:

  1. Water brought to a boil - 500 milliliters;
  2. Soap – 25 grams;
  3. Glycerin – 100 grams;
  4. Diluted alcohol – 25 grams.

Procedure:

  1. Place the crushed soap to dissolve in a water bath;
  2. Add water and stir until the soap is completely dissolved;
  3. Remove foam;
  4. Let the mixture cool a little. Add remaining ingredients;
  5. Pour into a suitable container and leave for an hour.

You can reduce cooking time by replacing the water bath with heating in the microwave.

For the gel paste you will need:

  1. Laundry soap, small piece;
  2. Dry mustard;
  3. Ammonia;
  4. Soda.

In combination, such effective components can remove even complex stains.

First, you should dissolve finely grated laundry soap in water. After cooling to room temperature, add all other ingredients, taken in equal quantities. Stir and leave to infuse for several hours.

The paste can remove even complex stains.

There is another way. This recipe is suitable for washing glass and ceramic surfaces, as well as for cleaning a gas stove.

Mix one teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide with the same amount of soda and dilute everything with one glass of hot water. To clean contaminated surfaces, you can pour the solution into a spray bottle.

Dry mustard copes well with heavily soiled surfaces. Dissolve 20 grams of mustard powder in a liter of hot, almost boiling water. Stir vigorously until strong foam forms. Then add 30 grams of soda and mix everything again. At this point the foam will disappear.

Paste of soap, soda and mustard

  • Grate 25 gr. laundry soap, pour 1.5 cups of boiling water and wait until the soap shavings are completely dissolved.
  • Let the solution cool slightly. Pour in 1.5 tbsp. baking soda and 1.5 tbsp. mustard powder.
  • Pour in 2 tbsp. ammonia. Leave until completely hardened.

Once you have made a paste of soap and baking soda, place the product in a closed container with a tight lid. Washing paste should be stored in a cool, dark place out of the reach of children.

7 Methods for storing prepared products

Due to their unusual origin, homemade products require special storage conditions. This applies to both shelf life and location. It is still recommended to keep and use the products prepared according to the above recipes for no more than 2 weeks, and in some cases less, since the main properties for washing soon begin to disappear.

Prepared various liquids and pastes begin to deteriorate quickly, so 2 weeks is the maximum period for their effectiveness. If we talk about storage places, they should be dark and cool. Then the basic properties can be preserved much longer.

Homemade dishwashing detergents are in no way inferior in results and quality to regular ones. They can wash away absolutely any dirt. In addition, they are very easy to prepare and do not harm the skin of your hands. The product made from laundry soap and other ingredients indicated in the recipes is completely harmless to the human body.

Although the product you prepare yourself does not form foam during the washing process, unlike purchased ones, this does not prevent it from efficiently and quickly dealing with dirt even under running cold water. In addition, such products are suitable for washing glassware and pans.

Soda baths

Soda baths are used as an adjuvant in the treatment of fungal diseases. To prepare, you will need warm water and NaHCO3.

Add a teaspoon of soda to 1 liter. It should be borne in mind that the stronger the solution, the softer the nails will become. Therefore, you cannot use the baths for a long time and exceed the recommended doses.

Soda baths are also an auxiliary remedy for fungus; they destroy the fungus and help soften the skin and nails. But they will not completely get rid of the disease, so it is recommended to use these products with medications, ointments or creams for fungal diseases.

The treatment will also be long-term, at least 2 months, so you should be patient and use the recipes described above daily, 2 times a day. This is the only way they will help cope with the hated fungus.

Trickle or drop

In many advertisements you can see how a housewife puts just one drop of dishwashing gel on a sponge, and then washes a mountain of dishes with it. But what do we really have?

But in reality, no matter how hard we try to drop a small amount of product onto a sponge, a whole stream will still flow out of the bottle. Because of this, overuse of dishwashing gel occurs all the time. That's why my mother-in-law adds a little baking soda to her cleaning product. Thus, it becomes thicker, thanks to which it can be used in doses, which leads to significant savings in both dishwashing liquid and money for its purchase. And such a cleaning agent washes much better, which has already been tested many times by both my mother-in-law and me, so for some time now I have been doing exactly the same as she.

Using the miracle remedy

The finished paste is universal. This is a real find for any housewife. It is used as a means for washing dishes, floors, walls, cleaning carpets and any surfaces. The paste easily copes with any type of dirt. Effective when washing clothes.

  • Washing dishes. Using a sponge or brush, apply the finished mixture to the surface. Thoroughly wash off dirt under running warm water.
  • Cleaning sinks and plumbing fixtures. The paste is applied in an even layer to a damp surface. Leave for 10-15 minutes and thoroughly clean with a brush.
  • Cleaning gas stoves. The surface is first moistened with a spray bottle. Apply a layer of paste and leave for 30 minutes. Then use a sponge to distribute a little hot water. Dirt is removed with a soft brush.
  • Carpet cleaning. Apply the mixture to the pre-moistened carpet and leave for 1 hour. Afterwards, remove dirt using a damp brush.
  • Laundry. The mixture is applied to clothes and washed as usual.
  • Removing stains. Apply the paste to the pre-moistened stain, add hot water and soak for 2 hours. Afterwards it can be easily wiped off by hand washing.
  • Cleaning pots from carbon deposits. The mixture is distributed in an even layer along the bottom of the dish. 100 ml of water is poured on top. Place the pan on low heat and boil for 20 - 30 minutes.

Benefits of Baking Soda Cleaners

Sodium bicarbonate is the sodium salt of carbonic acid. The acid-base balance of the substance is close to neutral, its value ranges from 5 to 7. This makes baking soda absolutely safe and can be used without the use of protective equipment. In addition to being gentle on your hand skin, the benefits of this cleanser include:

  • ease of use;
  • availability;
  • low cost;
  • absence of large abrasive particles;
  • compatibility with other agents and substances;
  • abundance of recipes and methods of application;
  • quality proven by many years of experience.

Sodium bicarbonate can replace most household chemical products in the cleaning and washing process without compromising the final result. Low consumption of the product will allow you not to think about buying a new pack for almost months.

Laundry soap

A completely harmless, hypoallergenic, natural product – laundry soap. A classic soap briquette has a brownish yellowish color and a not very pleasant, but recognizable smell. The “72%” sign on top indicates the amount of fatty acids in the product. The composition contains enough alkali, which effectively removes any dirt.

Laundry soap kills bacteria and germs, disinfecting all treated surfaces. The modern type of product - bleached briquettes with a pleasant lemon aroma - does not have such properties.

It is recommended to use a soap solution for washing and washing sinks, bathtubs, floors, and dishes. The product foams perfectly even in cold water, washes away grease, is easy to rinse and leaves no odor.

Method for preparing detergent

To prepare this miraculous elixir, which can control any dirt, we will need:

  • half a bottle of any detergent;
  • three tablespoons of soda.

And first of all, take any empty jar and pour dishwashing gel into it. Then add soda and a couple of tablespoons of boiling water. After this, mix the mixture thoroughly and pour it back into the bottle with detergent.

That's all. Now the shower gel has become thicker, making it much more economical to use. And now it will clean absolutely any surface without the slightest effort, which can also be attributed to its undeniable advantages.
