Prepare an avocado, a small knife with a sharp tip, half a lemon and a teaspoon.
First, you need to peel the avocado. Depending on the variety and maturity of the fruit, this can be done in two ways. The first method, which is shown in the photo, is the simplest - we cut off a thin layer of peel with a sharp knife in much the same way as we cut it off when peeling, say, potatoes. This way you can peel both completely ripe and not quite ripe avocados. The second method can be used if the peel easily comes away from the pulp - then we make four longitudinal cuts on the peel along the entire length of the fruit and, prying each part of the peel on one side, carefully and easily remove it.
So, the avocado fruit is peeled.
Now, from the narrower side, cut the fruit exactly in the middle until the knife hits the seed.
We begin to turn the avocado without removing the knife from it. All this time, the knife should rest against the pit, and the cut should be made so that the halves of the avocado are as identical as possible.
When the fruit is cut, but not divided into halves, use a knife to easily separate one part from the other, holding the lower part (in which the stone will remain) and, as it were, removing the upper part from it.
Using a teaspoon, lightly pick up the bone and remove it. If the bone does not come away from the pulp well, turn it with a teaspoon, capturing as little pulp as possible. When the fruit is ripe, the seed comes off and we literally slip out, almost effortlessly!

First, of course, the avocado is cut in half with this knife. So what now? It itself will not fall apart into halves, and don’t get your hopes up, the seed will securely hold the pulp on itself. I don’t recommend cutting it into halves like an apple: the tender avocado will be crushed where you squeeze it with your fingers (that is, 50% of the perimeter of the cut), and you’ll have to forget about the beautiful halves. It’s better to take the avocado with both hands and turn the halves in different directions relative to each other: for example, if you rotate the right half clockwise, then twist the left half counterclockwise. The avocado pit is not round, so literally within the first quarter of a turn it will separate. But - only from one half of an avocado. You put this half aside, and then the fun begins.
Peeling peel for slicing
Before peeling an avocado, pay attention to the ripeness of the fruit and take into account what the vegetable will be used for. This method is suitable for ripe fruits. It is often used if the vegetable is purchased for serving, slicing, or sandwiches.
First you need to remove the bone. Each of the halves is further divided into 2 approximately equal parts. After this, use a sharp small knife to pick up the tip of the peel from the edge and pull it: the peel should easily come away from the edible part. The remaining pieces are cleaned in a similar way.
