Method for making tomato paste sauce

  1. First of all, you need to peel, wash and finely chop the onion. Then you need to lightly fry it.
  2. Now in a separate container you should mix sugar, salt, flour and tomato paste.
  3. After this, you need to pour water into the resulting mass and mix everything thoroughly.
  4. Next, the liquid should be poured into the frying pan with the onions. Cook the tomato paste sauce over low heat until a thick consistency is obtained. In this case, the mass must be constantly stirred.
  5. As soon as the sauce begins to thicken, you need to add spices and herbs to it.

The tomato sauce is ready. Before serving, it should be left to simmer under the lid closed for several minutes. This sauce will make any dish more appetizing and tasty.

Mix tomato paste with warm water. Add sugar, salt. Stir until uniform, so that there are no lumps.

  1. First, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onions in it. Cooking time is seven to eight minutes.
  2. Then you need to add chopped garlic to the onion and fry the vegetable mixture for another two minutes.
  3. Next, you need to scald the tomatoes with boiling water in order to easily remove the skin from them. Then the tomatoes should be cut into large pieces and placed in a frying pan. Now the vegetable mass needs to be salted and seasoned with spices.
  4. After this, the sauce must be brought to a boil and simmered over moderate heat until cooked. Cooking time is approximately twenty minutes. In this case, the mass must be constantly stirred.

Hot sauce with horseradish

For cooking you will need 1 kg of peeled tomatoes. They need to be thoroughly washed and ground through a meat grinder to obtain a homogeneous mass. Pour the tomatoes into a saucepan.

Take 60 g each of garlic and horseradish root. Clean them of soil and peel. You can grind horseradish and garlic through a meat grinder. However, there are some difficulties. For example, horseradish fibers wrap around the knife, which is very inconvenient. Therefore, it is better to use a food processor.

Mix tomatoes, garlic and horseradish until smooth. Add salt and black, white or red pepper or pepper to taste. This is approximately 1 tsp. To dilute the spiciness of the sauce, add sugar.   • 200 grams of sugar.
  • 150 milliliters of 9% vinegar.
  • A teaspoon of ground cloves.
  • 50 milliliters of vegetable oil.
  • ½ teaspoon each of cumin and cinnamon.
  • A few cloves of garlic.
  • A teaspoon of ground black pepper.

For those who don't like cumin, you can do without it. And instead of garlic, some housewives add a teaspoon of asafoetida.

Cooking algorithm

Pour a little olive oil into a heated frying pan, and after a minute add peeled and chopped garlic into it. When the vegetable acquires a golden hue, remove the pan from the burner and put it aside.

The tomatoes are washed, cut crosswise, scalded with boiling water and the skin is removed. After that, they are sent to a frying pan with garlic oil and crushed using a wooden spoon.
