- sour cream – 150 g;
- fish/vegetable broth or water – 200 ml;
- salt and spices.
Yield of the finished dish – 5 servings of 240 g each

Duration of preparatory work – 25 minutes.
Cooking time: 40 minutes.
Procedure:
- Cut the fish into portions, rub with salt and spices (photo 1).
- Peel and chop the onion.
- Peel and grate the carrots.
- Sauté vegetables in a small amount of vegetable oil.
- Combine sour cream with broth or water. Add salt and spices.
- Fry the fish on both sides and place the fried vegetables on top.
- Pour the sour cream mixture and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
If, due to certain circumstances, you have to give up dairy products, know that you can fry hake not only in sour cream sauce. Dishes with the addition of culinary vegetable cream turn out no worse.

Before frying hake in a frying pan according to this recipe, be sure to cut it into clean fillets - cut off the fins, remove the skin and cut out the backbone. Eating fish in batter without bones is much more enjoyable. This fish is fried quickly, the pieces turn out juicy, tender and incredibly appetizing.
Required Products:
- hake without heads and entrails – 800 g;
- lemon – ¼ piece;
- sugar – 1 tbsp. l.;
- eggs – 2 pcs.;
- flour – 150 g;
- beer – 100 ml;
- vegetable oil – 200 ml;
- salt, spices.
Yield of finished dish – 900 g
Energy value per 100 g of finished product:
- Proteins – 12.6
- Fats – 10.3
- Carbohydrates – 8.6
- Calories – 178
Time to prepare ingredients – 25 minutes.
Cooking time: 40 minutes.
Procedure:
- Cut the fish into clean fillets - remove all bones, fins, skin and cut into strips 2 cm wide. Place in a bowl, sprinkle with lemon juice and vegetable oil + salt + spices.
- Separate the whites from the yolks.
- Pour salt + sugar into the yolks and grind thoroughly. Pour in the beer, then add the sifted flour and knead until smooth.
- Beat the whites into a strong foam and carefully fold them into the prepared batter.
- Bread each fish strip in flour.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or deep fryer to a temperature of 170 degrees.
- Dip the fish in the batter and fry on all sides.
How to cook hake fillet in a frying pan in batter
Recipe for this amazing dish:
- egg;
- 2 tbsp. wheat flour;
- 1 tbsp. beer or sparkling mineral water;
- 2 fish;
- vegetable oil;
- salt + ground pepper.
Cut the prepared fish into portions 2 cm thick. Add salt and pepper to the meat. Leave the product to marinate for about 10 minutes.
During this time, prepare the batter. Beat the egg, add flour, beer or mineral water. Please note that the batter must be of the desired thickness. Not too thick, like dumpling dough, and not too runny, otherwise it will drip off the fish. Due to the fact that liquid with gas is used when preparing the batter, the crust of the fish will be tender.
Place the fish pieces dipped in batter into a heated frying pan with oil. Fry the hake until golden brown. Just don’t cover the dish with a lid, otherwise the fish will turn out not fried, but stewed.
