Home × News × Floor washing and disinfection – what to use?
To prevent COVID-19 infection, doctors advise washing your hands frequently and thoroughly. At the same time, it is important to maintain cleanliness in the room in which you are located.
Forced to sit all day at home or at work, cleaning should be given careful attention. It is recommended to carry out wet cleaning at least twice a day. The additional use of surface disinfectants will play an important role in this chain.
Floor disinfectant: store-bought or homemade?
First, let's look at store-bought products. As the main remedy, it is better to purchase something that is used in medicine. The most affordable remedy is Dezaktin, which can be bought at the pharmacy.
Floor disinfectant
This product contains chlorine, but in moderation. Plus it fades quickly. This means that it can be used almost always. For example, both for disinfecting the floor in the bathroom and for treating your children’s toys.
Experts recommend first washing all surfaces with a folk or household cleaning solution, and then bringing them to final cleanliness with a special floor disinfectant , for example, Dezaktin, Glorix, etc. And then perform wet cleaning to remove excess disinfectant.
Glorix
How to wash the floor for disinfection if this product is not available in the pharmacy? You can use a hydrogen peroxide solution. But there are a number of disadvantages here. Hydrogen peroxide can have a detrimental effect on the appearance of objects, i.e. Discoloration of some types of dyes is quite possible.
Hydrogen peroxide
Disinfection of floors can also be solved using folk remedies. This implies the use of the following available means:
- Acetic acid.
- Saturated solution of table salt.
- Ammonia.
- Linseed oil.
The latter is a natural antiseptic. Thus, when processing varnished and wooden parts, linseed oil is absorbed into the material, which provides long-term protection against bacteria. At the same time, this product also gives the floor an aesthetic appearance.
And to increase the cleaning effect, prepare a solution of acetic acid and salt.
Ammonia is used in the kitchen if it is necessary to eliminate old spots on the floor.

How and what to wash the floor for disinfection - general progress of work
When wondering how and what to wash floors for disinfection with your own hands, you must not forget not only about choosing the right product, but also about individual protection of the respiratory tract, eyes and skin surface while cleaning the floor surface.
Ready to disinfect the floor!
That is, in addition to floor disinfectant , you need to use a respirator, safety glasses and gloves.
If you decide to disinfect all the floors in the apartment, then start with the outer rooms and finish with the bathroom, toilet and kitchen.
In general, the instructions are simple:
- Wear protective equipment and prepare a solution for disinfection.
- All unnecessary things are taken to adjacent rooms.
- Pre-clean the floor from dirt with a regular cleaning solution. At the same time, heavy furniture is moved and the places on the floor where it was located are thoroughly cleaned.
- The floor is sprayed with disinfectant.
- Do wet cleaning of the disinfected floor with clean water.
Wet cleaning and floor disinfected
Let's finish our opus with exotic advice from the pros. To eliminate persistent unpleasant odors, place containers with ammonia around the entire perimeter of the floor and close the room for a day. And after that, wash the floor well and ventilate the room.
And, finally, it is forbidden to move things back onto the disinfected floor until they have been treated.
Cleanliness and comfort are components of a home. Cleaning the floor takes a lot of time. Dirt, dust, pebbles, bacteria, viruses are carried into the house with shoes. Housewives should know what effective means to wash floors for disinfection.
What to wash floors with to create a pleasant smell
It is no secret that many detergents have an unpleasant odor, and if there are cats or dogs in the house who periodically “mark” the floor, then the specific stench of feces is added to the chemicals. How to wash the floor so that the smell is pleasant?
The best way is to add essential oils to the water. Their variety provides freedom of choice, and you can fill your home with the aroma that you like: pine, citrus, tea tree, rose and others.
Review and effectiveness of traditional methods of safe disinfection
The flooring is varied: wood, stone, marble, linoleum. Each type needs a specific cleaning agent. You can wash the floors at home using a budget option (folk methods) or disinfectant solutions of household chemicals.
Common methods of treating floors:
- greasy stains in the room will be removed by shaving foam. Apply a small amount of foam to the contaminated area, let stand for a couple of minutes, rinse with water;
- Ammonia will get rid of dirt and unpleasant odors. Take 1⁄3 bottles into a bucket of water and wash the surfaces with the solution. It is recommended to use ethyl alcohol for disinfection. Modern materials do not stand up to experimentation. In order not to disturb the integrity and color of the floors, use proven cleaning methods. The combination of alcohol and bleach has a detrimental effect on the appearance;
- To make the house smell, scent the rooms. Essential oils (lavender, pine needles, fir) disinfect the air and envelop the apartment with a pleasant smell. Clean floors and aromatherapy will give you warmth and tranquility;
- To clean and disinfect the surface, use a vinegar solution (one glass of acetic acid per 5 liters of water). The product is perfect for linoleum, ceramic tiles, and vinyl flooring. Use vinegar liquid on wooden floors with caution. The wood is covered with wax, paint, varnish or oil. Vinegar removes wax. It’s worth trying the method on an inconspicuous area to find out if the substance is suitable for cleaning. Acetic acid is contraindicated for marble and granite floors. It destroys the integrity of the stone. Essential oils can help reduce the smell of vinegar. After drying, there will be no trace of the smell;
- add a few drops of vegetable oil to make the floor shine. A caveat: with each cleaning, oil accumulates, do not overuse it;
- linseed oil cleans linoleum efficiently. Mix with vinegar 1:1. Rub the mixture onto the surface and leave to dry. If there are abrasions or unclear marks, wipe them thoroughly before rubbing in the prepared solution;
- Apple cider vinegar will get rid of stains and remove plaque. The gentle action will help clean different types of coating;
- Hard water leaves mineral deposits on the surface. Use an effective recipe: 2 tablespoons of baking soda per 5 liters of detergent;
- Housewives polish linoleum with vinegar after washing: add 6 tbsp to a five-liter bucket. l vinegar and 4 tbsp furniture polish. Mix the ingredients, wash the surfaces;
- All kinds of stains can be removed using regular powder. Sprinkle the powder onto the stain, drop lemon juice or citric acid on it, and add water. Leave for a couple of minutes.
Chemical disinfection of floors in the house
When a small child appears in the house, it becomes necessary that the floors are not just clean, but perfectly clean. After all, the baby very quickly begins to crawl and explore the world, and there is no better place to find a floor here. And all the flora (and, alas, fauna) that lives on the floor settles on the baby’s palms and very quickly ends up in his mouth.
The most common method of disinfecting floors is chemical:
- When it comes to carpets, to maintain hygiene, they are periodically dry-cleaned, where they are treated with modern reagents that completely kill all microorganisms living on them.
- If we are talking about laminate, linoleum or ceramic tiles, then in this case they usually perform wet cleaning by adding one of the many liquid products that have a disinfectant effect to a container of water.
The bottle with such a product usually contains instructions for its use and the required dosage for disinfecting the floor in the apartment. It is strongly recommended that you follow these requirements exactly to avoid allergic reactions.
- If the floors in the house are parquet or covered with wooden floorboards, then the issue of floor disinfection needs to be taken more carefully: in order for the wooden surface not to receive “chemical burns” from an aggressive detergent, it is imperative that the wood, in turn, be impregnated a special composition that gives it protection from such chemical exposure;
- in addition, you need to carefully read the instructions on the bottle with the product on how to properly disinfect the floor in an apartment, namely: with which varnishes, stains or impregnations this cleaning solution reacts, and with which it is inert.
Rules for cleaning with professional products
Working with household disinfectants (Passion Gold, Tenzi, Pronto) requires individual protection of the skin, eyes, and respiratory tract.
Apartment cleaning rules:
- Don't start washing right away. Test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area to avoid unnecessary problems;
- When cleaning, wear rubber gloves. Protect your skin from unwanted exposure;
- do not deviate from the instructions. Do as written, do not experiment;
- remove unnecessary things to capture the maximum area;
- Pre-clean the stains with a cleaning solution and apply a disinfectant;
- After general cleaning, rinse off any remaining cleaning solution;
- open the windows. To bring in fresh air;
- at the end, wipe with water;
- An important condition is to use a comfortable mop. It will save time and prevent calluses from appearing.
General recommendations
If everything is ready, then all that’s left is to wash the floor, following all safety rules. At first glance, everything is very simple to do, but there are some mandatory recommendations that not everyone knows about.
For a complete cleaning you will need:
- Clean dry cloth;
- Latex gloves;
- Convenient mop;
- Broom and dustpan;
- Bucket or basin;
- Floor cleaner.
You should make sure in advance that all equipment is in working order and is convenient to use. It is important for a person to feel comfortable while cleaning, and after that he will not lose the desire to do household chores.
If everything you need is at hand, then it’s time to start:
- All things that will get tangled under your hands are moved to another room: chairs, stools, flower pots and children's toys.
- The floor is carefully swept, since wet cleaning will be of no use if sand, hair or animal fur sticks to the rag. To prevent dust from rising, lightly moisten the tip of the broom with water, and begin cleaning from the corner farthest from the door.
- Wear rubber gloves to protect your manicure and the sensitive skin of your hands. Then the chosen disinfectant is poured into the bucket and the main part of the cleaning begins.
- It is better to immediately wash the floor in the farthest room or kitchen, and leave the hallway for last. And be sure to carefully twist the rag after each immersion in water.
- Take a dry soft cloth and wipe the floor with it until the floor is completely dry. It absorbs all remaining dirt and protects some areas of the floor from deformation.
Disinfecting the floor is a very useful and necessary task. If you follow all the recommendations and don’t look at homework as torture, then completing the task will be easy.
The main thing is to get ready for productive work in advance, not to mess around and always remember that cleanliness is the key to health, as well as a long and happy life.
How to quickly disinfect a floor
At home, washing does not take much time. After repair work, you need to spend the whole day cleaning. The floor is difficult to clean after pets, children, or a large number of people.
After repair and painting work
- Remove large debris from the apartment with your own hands after renovation.
- Dust or small particles deposited on surfaces are removed with a vacuum cleaner. Alternative: an industrial vacuum cleaner with a wet cleaning function. It is rented out by special companies. The technology will do the dirty work.
- Stains left over from renovations are difficult to remove. Wash acrylic paint and putty immediately. The raw material will be washed off with water, and the hardened material will be scraped off with a knife and wiped with soapy water. Remove whitewash and plaster residues with a stiff brush and rinse with cold water. Cleaning with wallpaper glue is a pleasure. Let dry, clean with a dry cloth. Alkyd enamel is used in offices; it is removed with all kinds of solvents.
- There are steamers and hair dryers that effectively combat the problem. A budget option for washing after repair work is detergents and hot water.
- White spirit solvent is used for any contamination. An important condition is to use a sprayer or a respirator.
After pets
The following recipes will help you effectively clean the floor from dog and cat marks:
- Apply a weak solution of potassium permanganate to the surface, after a few minutes rinse with cold water. The drug turns things a different color. Test properties in an inconspicuous area before events begin. Potassium permanganate and bleach are used for cleaning after a broken thermometer (they disinfect mercury).
- Acetic acid diluted with water cleans the floor, removes stains, gives a beautiful shine, and removes the smell of animal urine. The method is used to get rid of fleas on dogs and cats.
- Hydrogen peroxide fights an unpleasant situation better than other substances. Disadvantage - may change the color of the material.
- A few drops of iodine per 1 liter of water will clean a sticky, dirty surface.
- Take a lemon, squeeze the juice onto the stain, and after a couple of minutes, remove it with a cloth. The trace and smell will disappear.
- Baking soda is a versatile substance. She helps in the kitchen and at home. But soda, like salt, is afraid of glossy surfaces. The abrasive properties of the substance destroy the material.
- Laundry soap is an indispensable cleaning aid.
- An effective way to wean a cat or dog from marking territory is vodka. Pets do not like the smell. Rub the mark you left and this won’t happen again.
- Whiteness will wash away traces of urine. Pour into a bucket of water and rinse the surface. Vanish can be added. The product removes stains of blood, urine, and other contaminants.
- Domestos is used for cleaning toilets, soaking clothes in it, washing clothes, and mopping the floor. The cleaner is suitable for removing stains. Add a glass of the drug to a bucket of water. Wash the floor.
- A vacuum cleaner will get rid of hair.
Safety precautions against flu and colds
Some products must be used with extreme caution, as they can cause harm to the surface. For example, hydrogen peroxide can discolor the coating if left for too long. Products should not come into contact with eyes.

Be sure to use rubber gloves and cloth masks. Also, work in a ventilated area.
After renovation
Cleaning up after renovation work can take a whole day. Dust and small particles are removed using a vacuum cleaner.
Soap solution
Dirt after repair is difficult to remove. Therefore, it is recommended to remove acrylic paint and putty immediately. Undry material can be washed off much easier with ordinary soapy water. The whitewash is removed with a stiff brush and washed with cool water. But the enamel can be removed only with the help of solvents.
Brine
Regular table salt is a good surface disinfectant. But it cannot be used on all types of flooring; in particular, natural wood does not react well to a highly concentrated salt solution.
To keep the apartment always clean, it is advisable to clean it on a regular basis and destroy harmful microbes. Among the cheap preparations for floor disinfection considered, each housewife will be able to choose the best option for herself.
Proper nutrition, fresh fruits and vegetables, taking vitamins, playing sports, exercise and hardening are the first things that come to mind. But in order to fully protect yourself from a possible cold, it is important to secure the premises. A suitable option would be frequent ventilation. During the day, it is advisable to ventilate the premises every four hours, and at night, leave the window open.
Maintain a comfortable temperature and humidity for the body. The temperature in the room should not exceed 22 degrees Celsius, and the optimal humidity is 50-70%. Use air humidifiers indoors.
They maintain the necessary humidity and comfortable microclimate in the house, have a positive effect on health and well-being, and keep upholstered furniture and wooden products in good condition for a long time.
If someone in the house is sick, move the sick person to a separate room. He must eat from a separate container and use his own towel. Healthy people must always use protective gauze bandages when in contact with a sick person.
After the person has recovered, be sure to wash, or better yet, boil clothes and bedding, disinfect the toothbrush, or better yet, replace it with a new one.
To maintain a healthy and comfortable indoor microclimate, use indoor plants, as many contain phytoncides. These beneficial substances help protect your home from colds and flu. Cyperus, begonia and coffee tree, geranium and azalea, ficus and various citrus plants are suitable.
Wipe dust and do wet cleaning regularly. Viruses and bacteria settle on every surface. Their lifespan in dust increases to five weeks. Therefore, it is important to regularly remove dust from surfaces, clean and vacuum carpets, curtains and soft toys, because these are excellent “dust collectors”.
Disinfection Precautions
- buy household chemicals with minimal toxic effects. To protect your own health, use traditional methods of disinfection. Proceed with chemical disinfection in extreme cases;
- It is advisable for adults to work with disinfectants;
- people with hypersensitivity or allergic reactions cannot use household chemicals;

Where do fleas come from in an apartment?
Fleas can enter the house through adjacent ventilation from neighbors, from the entrance, from clothes and shoes. Sometimes they appear in sterile apartments if favorable conditions for reproduction are created: humidity, warm air. Mice, rats, and pets are also carriers of these parasites.
Since fleas are small, they can penetrate into any cracks, rugs, or carpets. But they do not rise higher than 30 cm from the floor. Their appearance is very dangerous for humans; they are carriers of typhoid, plague, hepatitis, tuberculosis, and malaria. You need to start treating your home immediately as soon as fleas are discovered.
Good reasons to disinfect
Such drastic cleaning may be required in many cases. These include:
- another seasonal outbreak of an epidemic if household members cannot boast of good immunity;
- accidental contact of children or adults with a person who has been diagnosed with head lice, scabies, tuberculosis, etc.;
- one of the family members had an allergic reaction, but the causative agent could not be determined;
- the appearance of unexpected “guests” in the apartment - fleas, bedbugs, cockroaches;
- animals that are used to walking (getting dirty) on the street;
- serious illness of one of the household members;
- the appearance of mold in the house.
The easiest way to carry out high-quality processing is to seek help from professionals. This procedure is carried out by SES employees. They have special equipment and chemicals with a low level of toxicity at their disposal. However, this option can be considered an extreme case, since you can disinfect the apartment on your own, but with the same result.
Signs of fleas
A light cloth or sheets of paper will help determine the presence of parasites. You need to spread them on the floor and leave them for 20 minutes, during which time the fleas will definitely show themselves. You can also find out about their existence by the following signs:
- Pets are constantly itching and acting restless.
- Bite marks are found on the legs. These are red, itchy little spots.
Children are more likely to suffer from bites; they are allergic to the saliva of ectoparasites.
When to disinfect
There are many reasons for treating a floor:
- Contact with people sick with pediculosis, tuberculosis;
- Outbreak of epidemics of infectious diseases in the region;
- Allergies;
- Pets that walk outside;
- The occurrence of mold, mildew;
- Infestation of the premises by harmful insects.
Treatment is carried out independently or by professionals from the sanitary and epidemiological station, who have the latest equipment and certified products with a high degree of safety.
Self-treatment for fleas
Not all housewives resort to the help of professional exterminators to get rid of blood-sucking insects. Therefore, they prefer to do the cleaning themselves.
Main directions of struggle:
- Treating animals with chemicals, drops, shampoo.

- Chlorine (whiteness). Be careful when using, highly toxic. It is necessary to make a concentrated solution and wash the floors and baseboards with it. It is not recommended to treat carpets with it, as chlorine acts as a bleach.
- Sinuzan. It will help get rid of not only fleas, but also other pests: cockroaches, flies, bedbugs, ants. You need 10 ml of product per bucket of water. There is a drawback: you need to order on the manufacturer’s official website; it is not always available in regular stores.
- Biorin. The most poisonous substance against all blood-sucking parasites. It is even used by special services. During disinfection, there should be no children, animals, or indoor plants in the house. This is explained by toxicity. When diluting the chemical, follow the instructions on the packaging.
- Get . It goes on sale in the form of a concentrated gel; dilute it with water to the required concentration of the working fluid.
When using any of these products, do not forget about protective measures: respirator, rubber gloves. After disinfection, close the room tightly for 2-3 hours, then ventilate for 60 minutes, and carry out wet cleaning. If after the first cleaning the number of parasites has decreased, repeat after another 3 days. Prophylaxis should be carried out 2 times a month to avoid recurrence.
“Whiteness” will save your home from infection

The results of a study conducted in Italy indicate that this concentration of bleach is more than enough to kill the new type of coronavirus in the shortest possible time. The information is confirmed by scientists from China and the USA. The following information is published on Wikipedia:
“Standard means of disinfectant cleaning of premises using chlorine-containing antiseptics in a concentration of even 1:99 also killed the virus within 5 minutes.”

How to treat carpet for fleas
Some housewives solve this problem with a vacuum cleaner. This is an effective but very long process. You need to vacuum every day for 14 days. It is impossible to get rid of a large number of parasites in one go, so they may choose other hidden places. Therefore, it is best to use aerosol or powder preparations.
Popular aerosols
- Control Home. Within 5-10 minutes, up to 98% of adult insects and larvae die. The active substance has a paralyzing effect on all types of blood-sucking insects. The product is used economically, the effect lasts up to 1 month.
- Executioner . Dilute it with water according to the attached instructions. Spray with a spray bottle and remove with a washing vacuum cleaner.
- Raid . One bottle is enough to treat 50 square meters. meters. The aerosol can be purchased unscented or with aromatic additives.
Even if the instructions indicate that the product is safe, you should not neglect precautions. For people with allergies and bronchial asthma, it is better to refrain from this method of treatment and seek professional help or ask someone you know.
Contact powder preparations
The most effective are considered to be: “Ranosan”, “Super Fas”, “Phenaxin”, dust. Scatter in various hard-to-reach places, but so that pets and small children cannot reach them. Their advantage lies in the immediate effect; not only adults die, but also larvae. In addition, there is no need to carry out repeated disinfection, according to the manufacturer. But it is better to do this after a few days to be completely sure that the parasites are destroyed.
Disinfection methods
The main methods of disinfection measures are:
- Mechanical. It consists of mechanical removal of pathogenic microorganisms from the surface. Mechanical disinfection includes wiping, filtration of water, air, ventilation;
- Chemical. It is carried out using disinfectants that destroy pathogens and their toxins. The disinfectant is selected taking into account the type of possible pathogenic microorganisms;
- Physical. High temperature and ultraviolet treatment is used;
- Biological. Based on the interaction of different groups of microorganisms. Most often used when cleaning sewers and drainage structures.
The maximum degree of disinfection is achieved when using combined methods, that is, a combination of more than two disinfection methods.
Folk remedies
Not every housewife is in a hurry to use aggressive chemicals, so they give preference to proven folk remedies.
Tansy and wormwood
Place these plants all over the floor, if possible. An infusion is prepared from dried herbs; you can buy it at any pharmacy or dry it yourself.
To prepare a natural remedy, you need:
- Pour 3 dessert spoons of wormwood and 2 tsp into a liter jar. tansy. Add literally a few eucalyptus (mint) leaves to soften the bitter smell.
- Pour a glass of boiled water.
- Cover with a lid and leave for 12 hours.
Strain the infusion through several layers of gauze. Pour into a spray bottle and treat the room. Corners, baseboards, and carpeting deserve special attention.
Cold, steam and sun
If pests are present in winter, open windows and doors for 3 hours. Method of control in the summer: hang all carpets and rugs in the sun. Under the influence of ultraviolet rays, all fleas and larvae will die. Additionally, disinfect the entire apartment: furniture, floors, baseboards, etc. And the last method is to use a steam cleaner. Use a steam jet to treat carpets and rugs.
Sodium bicarbonate
Mix baking soda in equal proportions with salt. Sprinkle carpets and rugs with this mixture. If fleas are present on sofas and armchairs, you can also use it, it will not harm them in any way. After 12 hours, vacuum all surfaces where this mixture was applied. During this time, it is advisable to leave home so that no one goes to the treatment areas. It is advisable to spend the weekend, send household members on a visit or to the country, and do the disinfection yourself.
Essential oils
You need to purchase ether of lemon, chamomile, mint, eucalyptus, and lavender at the pharmacy. Dilute them in water: 10 drops of oil per 1 liter of warm liquid. Use for treating carpets and similar coverings. If you still haven’t found a way to clean the floors from fleas in your house, make a concentrated solution with any of the listed oils. Not only will the blood-sucking individuals die, but you can also add fragrance to the room.
What floor coverings can be washed with bleach?
“Whiteness” is a powerful antiseptic and bleach. If you use it in its pure form, the floor covering will deteriorate: it will become covered with light spots and begin to delaminate. However, with repeated dilution with water, the effect of bleach softens.
You can wash with a 0.01 percent solution:
- linoleum;
- tile;
- laminate;
- parquet;
- items in the house.
The solution is very weak and is suitable for treatment on almost any surface. Only carpets are prohibited. But if possible, it is better to remove them altogether. It is difficult, and sometimes even impossible, to carry out sanitary treatment in a room with carpet. It’s not for nothing that carpets are strictly prohibited in hospital wards.
The floor is far from the only place where viruses can live. In the highest concentrations, they are found on door handles, remote controls, telephones, switches and other objects that often come into contact with the human hand.
Why disinfect the floor
Few people enjoy household chores. But it is necessary to disinfect the floor.
Benefits of disinfection:
- Fresh air . Even after superficial washing, the air becomes less polluted and it is much easier to breathe in the apartment. This effect is felt immediately and lasts for several hours.
- Safety . If there are small children in the apartment, then after cleaning they will not have the opportunity to put garbage and other small parts into their mouths. Adults also benefit from this - they no longer have to worry about stepping on a fallen fish bone, broken glassware or needle.
- Health . Less dust will accumulate in the air, which will make it easier for the lungs and improve the functioning of the whole body. In such favorable conditions, the protective functions of the immune system increase.
- Order in the house . If you thoroughly wash the floor from accumulated dirt, it will be more pleasant to walk on it with bare feet. It has long been proven that this improves mood and increases productivity.
How often is disinfection needed?
When it comes to cleaning, everyone has their own rules.
Therefore, floor disinfection is carried out at different frequencies, depending on the situation:
- Cleaning every day . Washing floors is often recommended for people who have small children, pets, or those who spend most of their time in the apartment. This method is relevant in winter and spring, since then a lot of water, sand and dirt are brought in from the street. It is not necessary to constantly use cleaning products - simply wipe the floor with a damp cloth after the need arises.
- Mopping floors once a week . If a person spends a lot of time at work, school or traveling, then this cleaning option is best suited. By that time, a lot of dirt will not have accumulated in the apartment, and the work itself will take no more than half an hour if the apartment itself is small.
- Unexpected situations . More often, people clean and wash floors at specially designated times. This is a convenient scheme for those who are used to being in complete control of their lives. But sometimes you need to quickly wash the floors at home because someone broke a flower pot, spilled water, or forgot to take off their shoes after going outside. Then the contaminated surface should be washed immediately.
- During general cleaning . This method is used at least once every 3-6 months or shortly before an important event. In this case, move away all the furniture in the house and wash hard-to-reach places. And you can’t do this without a special cleanser.
