Very lazy cabbage rolls
I haven't shared recipes for a long time. Don’t think that I didn’t feed my household. It’s just that the batteries in my camera have died a long time ago. And I don’t really like posting recipes without photos. True, the camera had mercy, and I still managed to photograph my daughter’s favorite lazy cabbage rolls. Moreover, the cabbage rolls are not simple, but very simple, just for lazy housewives like me. And if you also have a pressure cooker, then it won’t take you much time. You can also cook in a frying pan.
For very lazy cabbage rolls, we will need the same ingredients as for regular ones.
– white cabbage – about ½ small head
- a little sunflower oil
I turn on the Brand 6050 pressure cooker-multi-cooker to the “ Frying ” mode (any), pour in a little sunflower oil, add the minced meat, you can add a little water, stir, let it fry. At this time we will finely chop the cabbage. I prefer to use a food processor, especially when the cabbage is old and sitting. You can add a little carrot, grate it. Don't forget to mix our minced meat. Now add the cabbage (and carrots) and mix everything thoroughly. Wash the rice, pour it into a bowl, add about 1.5 tbsp more water, salt, seasonings, ketchup/tomato sauce to taste.
Mix everything well. Close the lid, turn on the “ Rice ” mode under pressure for 14 minutes and go about your business.
If you fry in a frying pan, then as soon as the cabbage is tender and soft, you can remove it from the heat.
Place on plates, top with sour cream...
By the way, owners of the Brand 6050 pressure cooker-multi-cooker. Don’t forget to thoroughly wash the sealing ring of the pressure cooker after preparing dishes with cabbage, otherwise you risk cooking dishes with cabbage flavor tomorrow))
Interesting read too!

Cooking meat. Lazy cabbage rolls in the Redmond multicooker will turn out very tender and juicy if you use different meats, but you can use just one type.
Thoroughly rinse the product you have chosen, if necessary, remove veins and films, and grind in a meat grinder. It is advisable to grind the meat twice, so it will acquire a more tender consistency.
Frying process. Pour a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil into a multicooker bowl and add chopped onion.
Set to “Fry” mode, fry the onions without closing the lid for about 8 minutes and remembering to stir. When the onion turns golden, add the minced meat and stir. Continue frying the ingredients on the set mode for another 20 minutes.
Cooking rice. While the meat is cooking, work on the grains. Rice must be washed especially thoroughly, constantly changing the water and removing floating debris. Wash until the water becomes transparent: the purer the grain, the tastier the finished dish.

The sauce is easy to make - mix all the ingredients necessary for its preparation in a separate small container.
Stir all the products thoroughly, set the “Pilaf” or “Stew” mode for 1 hour 10 minutes.

Stuffed cabbage rolls are a tasty and beloved dish by many, some reminiscent of childhood, because mothers and grandmothers made them quite often. Just recently, not a single feast would be complete without cabbage rolls, but now people have begun to forget about them. It is worth noting that the process of preparing traditional cabbage rolls, where you need to separately boil a head of cabbage and separate the leaves, and then wrap the minced meat and rice filling in them, is quite labor-intensive. Many young housewives are simply afraid to start cooking. But the dish is very tasty.
But you can find a way out of this situation by preparing very lazy cabbage rolls in a slow cooker according to this recipe with rice and minced meat. The same ingredients are used, the taste is almost the same, but the process is greatly simplified. You just need to chop the cabbage, put all the ingredients in layers in a multicooker bowl, add water and simmer. The result will be simply excellent. And if you use meat broth instead of water, the taste will be even more intense. Of course, very lazy cabbage rolls will not be suitable for a holiday table, but for an ordinary family dinner it will be just a wonderful dish.
Lazy cabbage rolls with rice and minced meat can be cooked in a pan on a gas stove, but in a slow cooker (I have a VES Electric SK-A12 model) they turn out tender, aromatic and well stewed. I invite readers of vmultivarkah.ru to take a moment and make the same dish using this simple recipe.
How to cook lazy cabbage rolls
Minced stuffing for lazy cabbage rolls in a pressure cooker
To make very lazy cabbage rolls, we need a food processor. In it you need to finely chop the onion and cabbage.
Add minced meat to vegetables, stir.
Add salt and a raw egg, beat until smooth.
Sauce for lazy cabbage rolls
Chop a piece of cabbage intended for the sauce and carrots on a vegetable slicer; I usually do this on a Borner vegetable slicer.
Place vegetables in a multicooker bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, stir.
Form cabbage rolls from the minced cabbage and meat (I got 11 pieces) and place them on a “vegetable bed” of cabbage and carrots.
Dilute the remaining tablespoon of tomato paste with boiling water and pour over the cabbage rolls. The liquid should slightly cover the “vegetable pillow”.
Steamed rice over cabbage rolls
At the same time as the lazy cabbage rolls, you can steam the rice to serve as a side dish for the cabbage rolls. To do this, you need to install a steam insert; fortunately, the level of our lazy cabbage rolls does not exceed the protrusion for the steam insert. Place ramekins with rice on the insert (my ramekins contain 0.5 multi-cups of dry rice + 0.5 multi-cups of boiling water, salt on the tip of a knife and a teaspoon of vegetable oil). If you don’t have ramekins, you can choose suitable cups or silicone molds.
Close the lid of the pressure cooker. Select the “Rice” mode - 12 minutes. The valve is in the “Closed” position.
After the signal about the end of the program, wait for the pressure to spontaneously decrease.
This is our steamed rice.
And here in the photo are ready-made lazy cabbage rolls.
