  1. The drumstick (1.2 kg) should be cut crosswise into portions.
  2. Season each steak with salt and pepper and leave on the table for a few minutes.
  3. Peel the onion and chop into half rings.
  4. Finely chop the garlic with a knife.
  5. Heat a grill pan without oil.
  6. Fry the steaks on both sides over medium heat until an appetizing crust appears.
  7. Place onion and garlic in the same frying pan, pour 70 ml of water.
  8. Place the frying pan in a preheated oven (180°C) and simmer the meat for another 25 minutes.

Turkey steak with thyme and rosemary

How to cook turkey steaks in a special way, but quickly? This recipe fully meets these requirements, so we advise everyone to take a closer look at it. It will be cooked so that there are no mushrooms in the dish, but their taste is clearly felt.

  • steaks according to the number of people at the table;
  • fresh or dried mushrooms (just not champignons; to be honest, they have no taste at all);
  • butter and sunflower oil - by eye, then it will be clear how much is needed;
  • liquid cream or full-fat milk - by eye;
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic;
  • spices and salt.
  1. Wash the steaks and dry. If there were films in the pieces, remove them.
  2. Mix salt and spices, rub a little on each piece of meat, lightly pounded if desired.
  3. Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan, just a little bit, the steaks should not drown in it.
  4. Over high heat, fry the pieces until crisp on each side. Then over medium heat for another 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Place the steaks on a towel, then into a dish.
  6. In another frying pan or saucepan, melt the butter and fry the mushrooms cut into pieces. When ready, add crushed garlic, a little salt and cream. There should be so much liquid that it does not even cover the mushrooms - up to half. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, and blend into a sauce.

  • hard cheese;
  • garlic - 2-3 cloves;
  • salt and any seasonings, fresh dill.
  1. Wash the steaks and dry.
  2. Crush the garlic, mix it with salt and spices, mayonnaise. Coat each piece and place on a greased baking sheet.
  3. Cut the tomatoes into wide slices.

To do this, the blanks from the drumstick or thighs of the bird are shallowly cut with a grid on both sides. A mixture is made from finely grated or crushed garlic, a variety of ground peppers and salt. This “paste” is used to rub the steaks, and you have to try to get it into the cuts. Then the meat is put into a bag and hidden in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, the steaks are fried in vegetable oil, covered, for about twenty minutes. To prevent them from sticking, they must be turned over sometimes. To get the desired crust, just remove the lid shortly before it’s ready.

How to bake in foil

Turkey steak in the oven turns out very juicy and soft if you use foil for baking. Add a little lemon flavor and the dish will be worthy of a restaurant menu! We will cook it in portions - each piece in a separate package: this makes it more convenient to serve the meat to guests.

  • turkey flesh, cut into steaks 2-4 cm thick;
  • onion;
  • lemon;
  • salt and ground black pepper;
  • mayonnaise or sour cream;
  • dill.

Excessive seasonings will spoil the taste and interrupt it. But a little lemon and dill will highlight the aroma of turkey meat, the meat will turn out excellent! It is not necessary to use mayonnaise or sour cream, but it is still recommended.

  1. Prepare the steaks - wash and dry.

One of the best cuts to cook quickly is the T-bone turkey leg steak. This meat is almost impossible to dry out. It turns out very juicy and tasty.
