  • One of the most favorite dishes in my family is manna with sour milk, kefir or sour cream, which I cook in a slow cooker. Thanks to the presence of semolina in this dessert, it turns out airy and very tender. You can serve it on its own, or you can top it with jam or brush it with butter.

    Let's figure out how to bake manna in a slow cooker and what you need for this! I offer three recipes - with sour cream with coconut flakes, chocolate and kefir. Choose according to your taste!

    On kefir

    • Cooking time: 1 hour 25 minutes.
    • Number of servings: 8 persons.
    • Calorie content of the dish: 1800 kcal.
    • Purpose: for breakfast.
    • Cuisine: Russian.
    • Difficulty of preparation: easy.

    Manna is prepared on kefir without eggs in a miracle saucepan - a device called a multicooker. It’s easy to make, and the lack of eggs is not at all an obstacle to obtaining a fluffy structure, because the composition includes a baking powder, which gives the cake the desired consistency. If you need to cope with the task quickly, this recipe will come in handy, because the pie, being very tasty, takes a relatively short time to bake.

    Ingredients:

    • kefir, wheat flour, semolina - a glass each;
    • sugar – 250 g;
    • vegetable oil – 0.5 tbsp.;
    • soda – 1 tsp;
    • vanillin - to taste.

    Cooking method:

    1. The first step is to soak the semolina in liquid (in our case it is kefir). Shake the mixture and then set aside for 30 minutes (the semolina should swell to make the cake very tender later).
    2. After 30 minutes, add regular sugar along with vanilla to the prepared mixture. Mix well while adding vegetable oil. Finally add the flour sifted through a sieve.
    3. Add baking soda, then stir again. Using a pastry brush, grease the mold with oil; all that remains is to lay out the finished dough. The pie is baked in a slow cooker for 40 minutes, after which it is cooled and served.

    Chocolate manna based on kefir in a slow cooker

    Mannik with cocoa prepared according to this simple recipe in a slow cooker comes out really tasty, juicy, richly chocolatey. This kind of pie always turns out.

    If you don’t have a multicooker, you can easily cook it in a gas or electric oven, in a heat-resistant form. Baking time – 40-45 minutes. Recommended temperature is 180-190 degrees.

    Ingredients:

    • semolina – 2 tbsp;
    • kefir – 0.5 l;
    • sugar – 1 tbsp;
    • chicken eggs – 2 pcs.;
    • cocoa powder – 3 tbsp. l.;
    • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
    • baking powder (loose) – 2 tsp;
    • vanillin – 1 pinch.

    How to bake chocolate manna:

    1. Mix dry ingredients: semolina, granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder. Add a pinch of vanillin or 1 tsp for flavor. vanilla sugar, a couple of drops of vanilla extract.
    2. Lightly heat the kefir. Pour it into the dry mixture.

    Instead of kefir, you can use sour cream diluted with warm drinking water to a kefir consistency. Natural low-fat yogurt is also suitable for this purpose.

    1. Mix. Leave for 15-20 minutes so that the semolina absorbs liquid and swells.
    2. Sift baking powder with cocoa. Pour into the dough. Mix thoroughly so that the powder is distributed evenly.
    3. Beat the eggs into a strong foam using a mixer. Beat at medium power for 3-5 minutes until the mass turns light and increases in volume by 2-3 times. Add eggs to the dough. Pour in a couple of tablespoons of refined oil. Stir with a spatula (spoon). The consistency of the chocolate dough for manna will be quite liquid. If it flows easily from the spatula, it means it is cooked correctly.
    4. Grease the multicooker bowl with oil. Pour out the dough.
    5. Bake the manna using the “Baking”, “Cake” or similar program. Approximate cooking time is 60 minutes.
    6. After the cooking cycle ends, leave the pie in the slow cooker for 10 minutes. This will avoid sudden temperature changes and, as a result, sedimentation of the manna. Remove from the bowl and place on a plate. Cool completely. Serve with tea.
