How to solve a problem
You can fix the problem with your LG washing machine yourself. Methods for troubleshooting:
- If the error appears during a power outage, you need to wait until it turns on, and then press the “On”/”Off” buttons to start the program.
- If the PF code lights up due to voltage surges, it is recommended to purchase a voltage stabilizer that brings the high or low value to normal.
- If the malfunction of the washing machine is caused by damage to the socket plug or power cord, they must be replaced. You can check the integrity of the power cord using a multimeter.
- If the control module fails, you need to disconnect the machine from the power supply for a quarter of an hour and then reconnect it. To reconnect, use the “Start”/”Pause” buttons. Then you need to unscrew the nut on the central screw, disconnect the grounding terminal, and then press through the bolt, remove the faulty heating element and install a new one in the reverse order.
