For meat, it is best to choose beef or pork backbone. However, the soup can be cooked without meat. To prepare dumplings you need to use a chicken egg, flour and chopped garlic.

This light vegetable soup with garlic dumplings can be cooked in water or meat broth. It has a rather pleasant taste and a well-defined aroma. To feed your family such a dinner, you will need:

  • 2.5 liters of water or meat broth.
  • 5 potatoes.
  • Medium carrot.
  • Leek.
  • 200 grams of zucchini.
  • A couple of eggs.
  • 2 cloves of garlic.
  • Flour, salt, herbs and ground pepper.

Potatoes and carrots are washed, peeled and cut into large pieces. Vegetables prepared in this way are loaded into a pan filled with boiling salted liquid and cooked over low heat. After about a quarter of an hour, add zucchini cubes and leek rings. Almost immediately after this, dumplings made from eggs, flour, crushed garlic, ground pepper and salt are added to the future soup. After ten minutes, the finished dish is removed from the stove and poured into plates. This soup is served with garlic dumplings with sour cream, chopped herbs and soft fresh bread.

Preparation:

1. Wash the meat on the bone very thoroughly and place it immediately into the pan. Pour in water.

2. After this, add salt. Cook the broth for 40 minutes.

3. Peel the potatoes with a paring knife, rinse under running water, and then cut into medium-sized cubes. Place the potatoes in the broth and cook for another 20 minutes.
