How to make delicious pancakes without baking powder

Ingredients:

  • Chicken egg - 2 pcs.
  • Granulated sugar - 4 tbsp. spoons
  • Milk - 350 ml.
  • Flour - 250 gr.
  • Vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. spoons
  • Salt - a pinch

Cooking method:

1. Heat the milk using a microwave or stove to room temperature. Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the latter, then add granulated sugar to them and bring to a white mixture.

2. Pour in warm milk, it will help the sugar completely dissolve. Whip and get a stable foam. Gradually add the sifted flour, mix well and get a dough. If it turns out a little liquid, you can add a little more flour.

3. Pour in vegetable oil and continue working with the mixer. We wash the whisks, dry them and beat the whites with a pinch of salt until fluffy. Place the frying pan on low heat to heat up.

4. Combine all ingredients and gently mix until smooth, fluffy. Place pancakes in portions on a heated frying pan; you don’t need to wait long, just until bubbles form, immediately turn them over and fry on the other side for less than a minute.

Place them on a plate and try them; they turn out soft and tasty. Bon appetit.

Cooking method:

  1. Pancake dough. Combine sugar and egg in a deep bowl. Beat with a mixer until fluffy. Pour in the milk and mix with a mixer.

  2. Separately combine flour, cocoa powder, soda and salt and mix. Pour the dry ingredients into the liquid ingredients, mixing with a mixer on low speed. Mix until the dough is smooth and free of lumps. At the end, add vegetable oil and mix well again. The consistency of the dough will be like for pancakes. (If the dough is too runny, add a little more flour and mix well with a mixer!)

  3. Heat the frying pan without vegetable oil - if you have a non-stick frying pan. If you are in doubt about the pan, it is better to grease it a little with oil. When the pan is hot, reduce the heat to medium. Pancakes need to be fried over moderate heat, otherwise they will burn on the outside and not bake on the inside!
  4. Pour the dough into the frying pan with a tablespoon and quickly form an even round pancake (I did 3 at a time, you can make larger pancakes and fry them one at a time). Fry for about minutes until a scattering of bubbles appears on the surface.

  5. As soon as bubbles appear, turn over. And fry for another 40-60 seconds until done. The pancakes will become fluffy, similar to our pancakes, only their surface will be completely smooth.

  6. When all the pancakes are ready, make the sauce. To do this, pour cream into a saucepan and heat it thoroughly. Add broken chocolate to the cream and stir with a whisk until the chocolate has completely melted and the mass becomes homogeneous and smooth. Remove the sauce from the heat and cool slightly. Serve pancakes with any berries or fruits, sprinkled with chocolate sauce. Bon appetit!
