Preparation:

The loaf is cut into slices, dried in a toaster and cut in half.

Cashew cheese is being prepared. Cashew nuts are poured with water and left for half an hour. Then the water is drained, lemon juice, 2 teaspoons of olive oil, garlic, starch are added and blended until smooth. Transfer to a thick-bottomed bowl and heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture acquires the consistency of an elastic cream, similar to processed cheese.

Slices of bread are brushed with olive oil and lightly toasted in a frying pan on each side.

Tomatoes are cut into thin slices.

Place cashew cheese, tomato, and basil leaves on a slice of toasted bread and place in the oven. Bake until the basil leaves are wilted.

Remove the sandwich slices from the oven, place a layer of cashew cheese on top and cover with a second slice of bread.

  6. Then lay out the cherry tomatoes cut in half and sprinkle everything with grated cheese.

  • Flour – ½ cup
  • Corn starch – ¼ cup
  • Dried ancho chili powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt – ¼ teaspoon
  • Buttermilk – 100 gr.
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Parmesan – 50 gr.
  • Tobasco sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt – according to preference
  • Breadcrumbs – ½ cup
  • Cherry tomatoes – 4 pcs.
  • Serano pepper – 1 pc.
  • Onion, diced – 2 tablespoons
  • Finely chopped cilantro – ¼ cup
  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Chicken egg white – 1 pc.
  • Lime juice – 1 teaspoon
  • Sea salt – ¼ teaspoon
  • Sugar – ¼ teaspoon
  • Bread – 4 large sandwich slices
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Finely crumbled Kotia cheese (can be replaced with hard cheese) – ¾ cup
  • Avocado, diced – ½ pc.

Preparation:

Garlic is cut into thin slices.

Cherries are cut into small cubes.

The bread is cut into sandwich slices, rubbed on one side with garlic and fried until crispy in olive oil.

Prepare the cheese. Place the cheese on a hot, oiled frying pan, form it into circles the size of the bread slices and fry on each side until golden brown.

Tomatillo is being prepared. In one container, combine the protein, finely chopped cherry tomatoes, lime juice and beat with a blender until smooth, thickening with flour if necessary. Add finely diced onion and finely chopped avocado and fry in a hot frying pan, forming circles the size of the bread slices.

Fried tomatoes are being prepared. To do this, mix cornstarch, flour, chili powder, and salt in one bowl. In a second bowl, mix the egg, buttermilk, Tobasco sauce and add some salt.

Pour breadcrumbs into a separate bowl.

Pour olive oil into a frying pan and heat it until it bubbles when touched with a wooden spoon.

The green tomato is cut into cubes and successively rolled in a mixture of flour, then in buttermilk and then in breadcrumbs. Place in hot oil and fry for a couple of minutes, stirring. Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

Collecting sandwiches. Tomatillo is placed on fried bread, cheese slices are placed on top of it, and fried green tomatoes are placed on top.

Sprinkle with grated Parmesan, garnish with herbs and serve.

The final stage will be the formation of the appetizer: the biscuits are spread with filling, a tomato is placed on top, cut side down, and decorated with pieces of olive on top.
