This is the simplest and fastest of recipes. No utensils are needed for cooking, and therefore this is an excellent option for camping conditions. The cooking principle is the same as lightly salted cucumbers in a bag.

Required:

  • kg of tomatoes;
  • medium sized head of garlic;
  • Art. spoon of salt;
  • teaspoon sugar;
  • dill, parsley, basil (any greens of your choice);
  • chili pepper.

To prepare this recipe, I choose vegetables of the same size so that they are salted evenly and at the same time.

How to cook:

First, prepare the tomatoes by removing the stems.

Make a cross-shaped cut on top and put garlic cloves and herbs inside.

Place in a bag, sprinkle with salt and sugar. If pepper is used, it is cut into rings.

The bag is tightly tied and shaken thoroughly so that the contents are distributed more evenly. It is better to divide the mass into two or even three bags.

The bag is left in this form at room temperature for 48 hours, after which it is transferred to a bowl and placed in the refrigerator. Lightly salted tomatoes taste better when chilled.

Ingredients:

  • 200-300g mini cherry tomatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg of tomatoes;
  • medium sized garlic;
  • parsley dill.

For the marinade, take 2 liters of water, 2 tbsp. spoons of spices (salt and sugar), 3 tbsp. spoons of vinegar and peppercorns. For an amazing taste, add bay leaf and coriander seeds.

How to cook:

First they make the marinade, because it is poured into it when it has cooled. This will protect the tomato skin from cracking and maintain its beautiful appearance. The marinade temperature should not exceed 40 degrees.

Fill the pan with 2 liters of water and place it on the stove. Add all the necessary ingredients for the marinade: salt, sugar, bay leaf, coriander, pepper. Bring to a boil, then add vinegar. Allow the contents to cool by turning off the stove.

Parsley and garlic are finely chopped and combined.

As in the first recipe, a cross-shaped cut is made on top of the tomatoes and stuffed with chopped garlic.

Next, prepare the marinade by boiling water and adding oil, salt with sugar and bay leaf. After this, pour in the required amount of vinegar.

While the marinade is hot, pour it over all the ingredients.

The snack should be removed for several hours and refrigerated.

I like recipes that don't require seaming. And the point is not that you don’t want to waste time on rolling. It’s just that more nutrients are retained in products, in particular tomatoes.

The simplest recipe

An appetizer of tomatoes with garlic and herbs with a basic composition does not require much time to prepare. It can be used as an addition to fried potatoes, as an independent dish, or served with alcoholic beverages.

The snack turns out to be especially aromatic due to the inclusion of mustard.

What ingredients will you need?

To create a “simple” snack, use:

  • tomatoes. The product must be dense, of medium size and without flaws - 6 pcs.;
  • dill. You will only need soft sprigs of greenery, the stems should be removed in advance - 20 g;
  • parsley. Leaves of the plant are used - 10 g;
  • green basil. You will also only need leaves - 5 g;
  • mustard. A more aromatic snack will be obtained using French mustard - 10 g;
  • salt. You need to choose a small product – 7-10 g;
  • granulated sugar – 5 g;
  • black peppercorns – 6 pcs.;
  • garlic. You will need medium-sized slices - 6 pieces;
  • vinegar. You need apple juice with a concentration of 6% - 30 ml;
  • oil. It is advisable to prepare sunflower or olive oil – 40-50 ml.

If French mustard is not available, Russian mustard can be used, but then the taste of the dish will be sharper.

Step-by-step cooking process

The appetizer will turn out aromatic, and the tomatoes will retain their appearance when preparing the dish using the following steps:

  1. Tomatoes must be thoroughly rinsed from dirt, then wiped with a towel to completely remove all water.
  2. Dill, basil and parsley should also be washed. Shake the greens well to remove the water as best as possible.
  3. Using a knife, you need to finely chop the prepared greens.
  4. The garlic needs to be peeled and the peeled cloves brought to a pulp state. Chopping with a knife into very small cubes is allowed.
  5. You need to crush the peppercorns in a mortar or put the product in a bag and roll it over it with a rolling pin.
  6. Place mustard in a bowl, add vinegar and vegetable oil. Mix liquid ingredients.
  7. Add crushed pepper, chopped herbs, garlic, salt and granulated sugar to the mustard sauce. Mix the tomato dressing thoroughly.
  8. Tomatoes need to be cut into narrow slices.

  9. Next, you need to put a layer of tomato in an enamel pan (you should not use a metal one, since the vinegar will react with the metal, which will change the taste of the snack and reduce the nutritional value) and coat it well with the dressing.
  10. Repeat layers of tomatoes and dressing until they are gone.

The closed pan must be set in the cold (temperature approximately 2-6 degrees) for approximately 40-60 minutes. When serving, it is recommended to place the tomatoes in a deep enamel dish and pour the juice over them. You can use whole sprigs of dill or basil leaves for decoration.

Lightly salted tomatoes with garlic and herbs, cut into slices

This recipe is a record holder for cooking. It takes about 5 – 10 minutes at most. Everyone I treated to this preparation was very pleased. Some asked to share the recipe.

You will need: 1 can of 2 liters.

Ingredients:

  • kg of tomatoes;
  • celery leaves, dill, garlic.
  • For the marinade:
  • liter of water;
  • 3 tbsp. spoons of salt;
  • Art. spoon of sugar;
  • a couple of black peppercorns;
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of vinegar (9%).

How to cook:

Plum-shaped tomatoes are the most suitable for this recipe. They are cut into equal parts and placed in a deep container.

Add greens: celery, dill, add garlic. It is cut into rings; you don’t even have to remove the peel.

Place on top of the tomatoes.

Boil water for the marinade, add sugar, salt, pepper, and bay leaves. As soon as the water boils, add vinegar without fail. Cook for no more than three minutes. This is enough for all the flavors to mix properly.

Tomatoes are poured with slightly cooled marinade. Leave for 24 hours.

After the allotted time for infusion, you can enjoy the delicious preparation.

Tomatoes with cheese and garlic

Active cooking time is 10 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 8-10 small or medium tomatoes
  • 200-250g of any cheese (processed cheese can be used, but I don’t really like this option)
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2-3 tbsp. sour cream (mayonnaise)
  • salt, herbs to taste

Wash the tomatoes and cut off the top (where the tail is) with a sharp knife. Then carefully scrape out the pulp with a teaspoon and salt the inside of the tomatoes. If the tomatoes are large, you can simply cut them in half and clean the halves in the same way.

Grind the cheese on a grater or in a blender, add crushed or grated garlic, finely chopped herbs and season everything with sour cream or mayonnaise. If desired and necessary, add salt. Stuff the tomatoes.

If you want, you can add the removed tomato pulp to the filling, but in this case, do not forget to drain off the excess juice so that the filling does not turn out too liquid, and add less sour cream (mayonnaise). It seems to me that there is nothing tastier than this spicy snack; stuffed tomatoes are excellent.

Some of those for whom time is especially valuable prepare tomatoes with cheese as shown in the picture above and to the right. This hardly needs deciphering, does it? You can choose this option, but stuffed tomatoes, in my opinion, are better.

You will need:

  • kg tomato;
  • 3 – 4 garlic cloves;
  • 5 – 6 sprigs of dill;
  • Art. spoon of salt;
  • teaspoon sugar.

How to cook:

Tomatoes, herbs, and garlic are thoroughly washed. The husks are removed from the garlic.

Place in a bag, add herbs and peeled garlic. Can be cut into halves.

The mixture is thoroughly sprinkled with salt and sugar.

The bag is tied well and shaken so that the spices are distributed evenly.

Leave for a couple of hours so that the tomatoes are properly soaked.

Lightly salted tomatoes with cucumbers in a bag

In addition to tomatoes, this recipe contains cucumbers. Many people love just such a diverse composition. You can prepare it in a hurry, in just 5 minutes.

You will need:

  • 300 grams of tomatoes and cucumbers;
  • a pinch of sugar;
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt;
  • a couple of cloves of garlic;
  • ground pepper to taste.

How to cook:

The cucumbers are washed, removing the “tails”. Cut into large-sized bars.

Do the same with tomatoes, cutting them into large slices.

Dill is washed and chopped. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.

All vegetables are placed in a bag and sprinkled with sugar and salt and seasoned with pepper.

Tie the bag tightly and mix the contents. It is convenient to put the bag in a separate container and put it away for a while, about a couple of hours.

Recipe for cooking tomatoes in a quick pickling bag

To quickly and tasty pamper your family with your favorite delicacy, you can use this recipe. He always helps me out when I want something tasty, salty and don’t have the strength to wait long.

Ingredients:

  1. 3 medium firm tomatoes;
  2. a bunch of dill and parsley;
  3. cloves of garlic;
  4. one and a half teaspoons of salt.

First you need to wash all the products and dry them on a towel to remove excess liquid. We don’t need it, since the tomatoes will marinate in their own juice.

Cut the tomatoes into small slices. Finely chop the greens, and it is better to pass the garlic through a press. Of course, you can also chop it with a knife, but skipping the garlic will give more juice and flavor in this recipe.

Sprinkle the slices with salt and mix all the ingredients in a separate bowl. Place them in a bag and secure it carefully. If you are not using special packaging for pickling, but a regular packaging bag, then you won’t be able to do it alone. Otherwise, the liquid may leak. You need to put it in another one just like it.

Place in the refrigerator for an hour or two. During this time, you need to shake the bag a little 2-3 times so that the dish marinates faster. Then the yummy is ready to eat.

This recipe allows you to make tomatoes for long-term storage. To prepare you will need one 3 liter jar and ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg tomato;
  • Art. spoon of salt;
  • teaspoon sugar;
  • 3 – 4 cloves of garlic;
  • greens (dill, parsley);
  • pepper in the form of peas.

How to cook:

Remove the stems from the tomatoes by cutting them into circles.

The greens are crushed into a homogeneous mass. Add chopped garlic and salt.

The resulting green mass is smeared on one side of each tomato, after which they are placed in a container, adding sugar and salt in the specified amount, as well as all the remaining greens.

The bowl is additionally placed in a cellophane bag and left to infuse for 2 hours.

After this time, transfer the tomatoes to a glass jar and then fill them with brine. It is made from water in the amount of 1 liter, tbsp. spoons of sugar and salt.

Cover the jar with a lid. Store the product in the refrigerator.
