Ingredients:

  • One baguette;
  • A small bunch of dill;
  • A can of saury canned in its own juice;

  • 100 grams of hard cheese;
  • Ground pepper and salt to taste;
  • Half a small onion (preferably salad varieties);
  • Half a teaspoon of adjika;
  • Half an apple (preferably sweet and sour);
  • 3.5 tablespoons of mayonnaise (if desired, can be replaced with sour cream).

Preparation:

1. Grind the saury into the most homogeneous mass. You can use canned fish from other fish according to your taste.

2.Finely chop the onion and send it to the fish. Grated cheese will also go here.

3. Peel and core the apple. Grate on a coarse grater directly into the filling. Finely chop the greens. Mix all these products carefully with each other. Add a little mayonnaise. There shouldn't be too much of it. If you add more than 4 tablespoons, the filling will be liquid and will begin to spread on the bread. Pepper and add adjika.

4.Taste it. If you don't have enough salt, you can add it. But I usually don’t put it in, since fish, cheese and mayonnaise are quite salty.

5.Cut the bread into slices. Brush each with a small amount of soft butter. Apply a generous layer of filling, carefully smooth it out and compact it slightly.
