Chicken thighs according to this recipe are very juicy, aromatic and tender. For beauty, we prepare the dish in clay molds, for taste we add carrots, onions, horseradish and mayonnaise, and for aroma we sprinkle with garlic powder.

Chicken thighs in the oven with a crispy crust

To get a delicious chicken, the meat needs to be marinated in the simplest and most accessible spices. To bake in the oven according to the classic recipe you need:

  • 1 kg chicken thighs;
  • 5 g salt;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • 3 tbsp. l. olive oil (you can take regular sunflower oil);
  • 5 g dry adjika.

In this case, a beautiful crust is formed thanks to spicy adjika.

What we do:

  1. Thaw frozen thighs, leaving them at normal temperature. The presence of skin is mandatory. Without it, it will be very difficult to get a beautiful and uniform crust.
  2. We rinse the chicken parts with running water and leave them on a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. For the marinade, add salt and crushed garlic to olive oil, then add adjika and mix.
  4. Rub the thighs with this mixture and leave them alone for 35-40 minutes.
  5. Then put the meat in the oven for 40 minutes.
  6. We periodically check and pour the liquid from the baking dish over the thighs.

Baked thighs with mustard

Time: 45 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • thighs – 4 pcs.;
  • mustard – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • garlic – 2 cloves;
  • salt pepper.

Recipe:

Rinse the meat under cold water, remove lint and feathers. Dry each piece with a paper towel.

Rub each piece with salt and spread with mustard. To better soak the meat in the sauce, you need to put a little mustard under the skin.

Peel the garlic and squeeze through a press.

Cover the pan with foil. Place the prepared pieces of meat on it, sprinkle them with chopped garlic on top and place the thighs in the oven for 40 minutes.

On a note:

  • Mustard marinade makes the meat very juicy. Mustard quickly softens the meat, and after baking its smell is not noticeable.
  • In order for the meat to be better saturated with the marinade and absorb all the juices and aromas, it needs to be kept in the mustard mixture for at least half an hour.
  • In order for the thighs to turn out well, it is important to choose the right meat. Fresh thighs are light pink in color, they have smooth skin and clean cuts. The skin of good thighs will always be dry, and the meat inside will be elastic.
  • High-quality thighs should not be sticky or stained. The meat should smell nice. There should not be any foreign odors (vinegar, bleach) on it.

Recipe for poultry with potatoes

To prepare a hearty dinner we need the following ingredients:

  • 6 large chicken thighs;
  • 10 pieces. medium sized potatoes;
  • salt;
  • ground black pepper;
  • paprika.

How to prepare:

  1. This time we start with potatoes. We wash it under running water, clean it and cut each root vegetable into 4 equal parts.
  2. Pour the potatoes evenly onto a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil and add a little salt.
  3. We wash the thighs and get rid of any remaining feathers (if any).
  4. Dry, rub with salt, pepper and aromatic paprika.
  5. Place on top of the potatoes and bake at 200 degrees until fully cooked (about an hour).
  6. Decorate the finished dish with a sprig of your favorite herbs or cherry tomatoes.

With vegetables

Vegetables are just what will give the tender chicken thighs even more juiciness, but will make the dish healthy and dietary. To prepare we take:

  • 4 medium chicken thighs;
  • 4 things. small potatoes;
  • 1 small zucchini;
  • 2 medium tomatoes;
  • 1 tbsp. l. apple cider vinegar;
  • seasoning for chicken (at your discretion);
  • 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
  • salt;
  • ground black pepper.

Further actions:

  1. Place the washed chicken pieces in a deep plate. Salt, pepper and pour vinegar. We forget about them for 1 hour.
  2. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes; also wash and cut the zucchini. We carry out the same procedure with tomatoes.
  3. Salt the vegetables and pour vegetable oil over them. Place on a baking sheet and place already marinated thighs on top.
  4. Bake at 200 degrees until the chicken becomes a beautiful golden brown color and the vegetables are soft.

Thighs in the oven with creamy nut sauce

Time: 1 hour 10 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • chicken thighs – 1 kg;
  • cream – 300 ml;
  • walnuts – 100 grams;
  • onions – 3 pcs.;
  • flour - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • vegetable oil;
  • basil, paprika, ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp each;
  • salt;
  • water – 70 ml;
  • vegetable oil.

Preparation:

Prepare dry marinade: mix basil, paprika, pepper and salt. Rub the meat with this mixture. Place the chicken in the refrigerator for half an hour, cover the container with a lid or film to prevent the thighs from chapping.

Place chicken thighs in a hot frying pan and fry them on both sides for 2 minutes until browned over high heat.

Make the sauce: peel and dice the onion. Finely chop the walnut kernels. Fry onions with nuts, add salt. Fry the flour in a separate pan. Then pour it into a bowl, add water, mix well. Mix the flour mixture with the nut-onion mixture. Pour cream into this mass, mix everything, put on fire. Bring the sauce to a boil, simmer for 2 minutes until the mixture thickens.

Place the thighs in a heat-resistant dish. Pour sauce over them. Cover the pan with foil and place in the oven (180 degrees) for 40 minutes. A few minutes before the end of cooking, remove the foil to allow the chicken to brown.

Helpful Tips:

  • You shouldn’t hastily take the cooked chicken out of the oven (unless it’s burnt, of course). Let the meat stand in the switched off oven until it soaks in the marinade even more and becomes juicy and aromatic.
  • It is best to bake meat in a ceramic or cast iron form. Such dishes heat the dish evenly, gradually, so the meat is always well baked and does not burn.
  • The best way to remove walnut kernels is with a walnut cracker, which easily cracks the shell. If you don't have one, then a regular knife will do. But before you use it, you need to put the nuts in water for 10 minutes. The shell will swell and become easier to work with.
  • You can grind the nuts on a grater or using a rolling pin (put the nuts under the film and walk over it with the rolling pin).

With cheese

Cheese adds tenderness and a unique milky aroma to many dishes. Chicken thighs were no exception, and today housewives bake them in the oven with the addition of hard cheese.

  • 5 medium-sized chicken thighs;
  • 200 g of your favorite hard cheese;
  • 100 g mayonnaise;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • salt;
  • bunch of dill.

Step-by-step algorithm:

  1. Let's start with meat. We wash it so that the skin does not come off (we will need it as a pocket for the filling).
  2. Cut the cheese into equal pieces (you should get 5 equal slices).
  3. Rinse the dill with running water and finely chop.
  4. Mix mayonnaise in a deep plate with dill and squeeze garlic into it. Mix.
  5. Carefully slide a piece of cheese under the skin of each thigh.
  6. Then place the prepared semi-finished products on a baking sheet greased with vegetable fat.
  7. Pour a mixture of mayonnaise, herbs and garlic on top.
  8. Place in the oven for 40-50 minutes and bake at 180 degrees.

With rice

To bake delicious chicken thighs in the oven with rice you need to take:

  • 6 large thighs;
  • 2 large onions;
  • a bunch of parsley;
  • 1 cup chicken broth;
  • salt;
  • ground black pepper;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 cup round rice;
  • 3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.

What we do:

  1. Wash the chicken thighs thoroughly with running water, dry and rub with salt and pepper.
  2. Then fry them in a frying pan hot with vegetable oil until they are beautifully crusted.
  3. Transfer to a plate and fry the chopped onion and garlic in the remaining oil.
  4. When the onion is slightly browned, add the rice and stir until it is saturated with fat.
  5. After five minutes, pour in chicken broth, salt, and add ground black pepper.
  6. Cover with a lid and simmer until half cooked.
  7. Then transfer the rice to a baking dish. If you have a frying pan with a removable handle, you can use it.
  8. Place the thighs on top of the porridge pillow and bake for half an hour at 190 degrees.

This version of the dish is taken from Spanish cuisine. But in our case it is somewhat simplified. If desired, you can add green peas, bell peppers and cilantro.

Chicken thighs recipe

From twelve options, choose your recipe for chicken thighs in the oven. To do this, try to prepare a dish according to each of the given recipes. They differ in baking methods, sauces, marinades, and side dishes. Some of them require preparing the meat, others are done in haste. Add your favorite spices to the selected recipe and vice versa, replace those that you do not like. Don’t forget to take photos and write down the ingredients of particularly successful dishes in case you want to repeat them.

With tomatoes

Tomatoes always serve as an excellent addition to meat. Be it pork, lamb, beef or the simplest option - chicken. Berdyshki with tomatoes baked in the oven - something amazingly tender and aromatic. So let's get started. We take:

  • 5-6 small hips;
  • 2-3 large tomatoes;
  • salt;
  • pepper;
  • vegetable oil.

How to prepare:

  1. First, wash the meat several times. We remove films, feathers and all unnecessary things. We also remove the skin so that the dish is not too greasy.
  2. Then carefully cut out the bones from them.
  3. Wash the tomatoes and cut them with a sharp knife into large rings of equal size.
  4. Pepper the meat and rub it with salt. Place on a baking sheet greased with oil.
  5. Place several tomato slices on each piece.
  6. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and cook for 30-40 minutes.

Bake the thighs

Preparing the oven. 15 minutes before the start of cooking, warm it up to a temperature of 200 °C. We prepare the sleeve - cut a piece of the required length, tie one end with a knot or seal it with a standard tie, place it inside the thigh, skin side up. We seal the second entrance to the sleeve. Place the bag on a baking sheet and use a sharp knife to make several small pinhole cuts—6-8 pieces—on the top of the bag.

With mushrooms

Mushrooms are a universal product that can be combined with most ingredients. Chicken thighs with mushrooms will be the main appetizer on a holiday table or family dinner. To prepare this dish we need:

  • 6 chicken thighs;
  • 200-300 g champignons;
  • 1 large onion;
  • 200 g hard cheese;
  • 3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
  • salt;
  • pepper.

Step by step process:

  1. We start by thoroughly washing the mushrooms and cutting them into thin slices.
  2. Peel the onions and chop them into neat, small cubes.
  3. Heat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil, and wait until it gets hot.
  4. Fry the onion until golden. Add beautifully chopped mushrooms and fry for about 5-7 minutes. Salt and pepper to your taste.
  5. Transfer the mushrooms to a plate and set aside to cool.
  6. Let's move on to the main ingredient - chicken thighs. We cut out a bone from them. If possible, you can purchase it without it.
  7. Place the chicken pieces on the board, skin side down, and beat well. Salt and rub with ground black pepper.
  8. Place fried mushrooms in the middle of each broken piece and fold the improvised flatbread in half. To prevent it from falling apart during cooking, we chop it with a toothpick.
  9. We cut the hard cheese into small pieces and place one under the skin of each piece of chicken on the top side.
  10. Place the thighs on a baking sheet. You can lubricate it with fat or do without it. The skin releases juice within a few minutes after going into the oven, so the meat will not burn.
  11. Place the pan in the oven and cook for half an hour at 190 degrees.

Cooking boneless, skinless chicken thighs

Essentially, this is a marinade for barbecue that is cooked in a frying pan. For this dish you will need:

  • 300 g chicken thighs;
  • 100 g bell pepper;
  • 100 ml sparkling water;
  • a mixture of “5 peppers” (or just black pepper);
  • a little sweet paprika powder;
  • soy sauce;
  • vegetable oil;
  • salt;
  • 2 tangerines;
  • 20 g starch;
  • a couple of tbsp. butter
  • water.

We thoroughly wash the bell pepper, remove seeds and cut into cubes. Then we place the workpiece in a bowl. We switch to meat - remove the bones, cartilage and skin, and cut the chicken itself into small pieces. We send the meat to the pepper and fill it all with soda. Add a little vegetable oil and soy sauce here. Salt and pepper the mixture, and also add paprika. Mix all this thoroughly and set aside. Let it marinate.

Soak the skewers in water for about 20 minutes, and then add pieces of chicken and pepper. Fry the chicken evenly on all sides in a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil. Then add butter to the pan for flavor. Then close the vessel with a lid and bring the kebab to readiness.

Prepare the sauce. To do this, cut the tangerines into 2 parts and squeeze out the juice. Pour it into a clean, heated frying pan (you need to evaporate it a little). Then add a couple of tablespoons of butter and diluted starch in cold water. Mix everything thoroughly. Cook, stirring with a spatula, until the sauce thickens.

Add the sauce to the kebabs and simmer a little. Serve this yummy with a side dish. Rice boiled with curry will look very beautiful.

Recipe for chicken thighs in the oven in the sleeve

Chicken is often cooked in the sleeve. Roasting in this way helps preserve the juiciness and flavor of the tender meat. To prepare this dish we need:

  • 4 things. large chicken thighs;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • salt;
  • black pepper;
  • seasoning for chicken.

Step-by-step algorithm:

  1. Carefully wash the chicken pieces and dry them.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top. Then rub with seasoning for chicken meat and leave for 20 minutes so that the beard is well saturated with spices.
  3. We put them in a baking sleeve.
  4. Peel the garlic and cut into thin slices. Place evenly on top of the thighs.
  5. We seal the sleeve on both sides with clips or tie it with regular thread.
  6. Place the sleeve with the contents on a baking sheet and place in the oven for 50 minutes at 200 degrees.

Frying pan recipe

You can make the dish without an oven.

Here are the components you will need:

  • kg thighs or you can use fillet;
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic;
  • salt and black pepper;
  • 50 g vegetable oil.

Preparation:

  1. Cut the chicken into pieces, salt and pepper.
  2. Leave for 10 minutes to marinate.
  3. Heat the frying pan well and add oil.
  4. Grill chicken over moderate heat for 15 minutes.
  5. Place the chopped garlic on the chicken, then cover it with a lid and fry it for about 5 minutes.
  6. Turn the pieces over and fry for another 5 minutes, covered.

Fried chicken is served hot and served as a side dish with vegetables, potatoes or rice with vegetables.

In foil

To prepare delicious chicken thighs in foil, you need the following ingredients:

  • 5 pieces. chicken thighs;
  • 1 tbsp. l. dry mustard;
  • 2 tbsp. l. liquid honey;

  • 2 pcs. tomato;
  • 3 tbsp. l. soy sauce.

  2. In a deep plate, mix salt, ground black pepper, soy sauce, liquid honey and mustard.
  3. Finely chop the dill and send it to the dressing.
  4. Pour the mixture over the thighs and place them on a baking sheet previously lined with foil.
  5. Cover the top with a piece of foil (mirror side down) and bake for 40-50 minutes at 180 degrees.

Baked thighs in apple marinade

Time: 1 hour 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • thighs – 1 kg;
  • apple juice – 0.5 l;
  • onions – 1 pc.;
  • paprika, pepper – 0.5 tsp each;
  • spices for chicken, salt.

Step-by-step preparation:

Be sure to wash the thighs and dry them with a towel.

Prepare the marinade: add salt, spices, seasoning, as well as peeled and chopped onion to the apple juice. Pour the marinade over the meat and marinate for 30 minutes.

Place the thighs in a mold, pour the marinade over them, sprinkle with a little pepper and bake for 40 minutes at 190 degrees.

Adviсe:

  • To prevent the thighs from being dry, during baking they need to be periodically watered with marinade and also turned over to the other side.
  • If you want to cook thighs from frozen meat, they should be thawed. You can’t bake frozen thighs, because then they will bake unevenly: the meat will remain raw inside, and the outside will simply burn.
  • It’s easy to check the readiness of the dish: you need to pierce the meat with a fork or toothpick and if clear juice comes out of it, then the thighs are ready. If opaque juice comes out, but with blood, then you need to keep the meat in the oven for some more time.

In sauce: sour cream, soy, mayonnaise, garlic

Famous chefs and experienced housewives complement many meat dishes with exquisite sauces. They can be prepared from a variety of products.

However, you don’t have to buy expensive delicacies to make the dressing delicious. It can be prepared from ingredients that are available in the kitchen of every home.

Sour cream sauce

  • sour cream - 150 g;
  • butter - 1 tbsp. l.;
  • salt;
  • pepper;
  • flour - 1 tbsp. l.;
  • garlic - 2 cloves.

Actions step by step:

  1. Heat butter in a hot frying pan, add flour and stir quickly.
  2. We dilute the sour cream in a cup with a small amount of water (so that it does not curdle) and pour it into the frying pan, stirring constantly.
  3. Salt, pepper and add chopped garlic. Simmer for 7 minutes and remove from heat.
  4. Pour this sauce over chicken thighs before placing in the oven.

It can also be served separately. Just pour it into a gravy boat and place it side by side. We take as much as anyone wants.

Soy sauce

  • 100 g soy sauce;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • seasoning for chicken;
  • 1 tbsp. l. tomato paste;
  • 1 tbsp. l. liquid honey;
  • salt.

How to prepare:

  1. Pour soy sauce into a deep bowl.
  2. Squeeze the garlic into it.
  3. Add seasoning and taste.
  4. Then add tomato paste and mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour in a tablespoon of honey and add salt if necessary.
  6. Mix again and serve along with chicken thighs.

You can also pour it over meat before baking.

Mayonnaise sauce

  • low-fat mayonnaise - 100 g;
  • a bunch of dill;
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp;
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp;
  • salt.

  • 6 tablespoons of soy sauce;
  • 1 spoon of honey;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • a pinch of cinnamon;
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • spices and salt.

Here's the step-by-step recipe:

  1. For the marinade, soy sauce is mixed with mustard, chopped garlic and oil. Then honey is added.
  2. Add cinnamon and other seasonings. Sweet paprika, turmeric, oregano and ginger will do.
  3. The thighs need to be covered with marinade and put in the refrigerator for an hour.
  4. Place the marinated meat in a mold and pour in the remaining sauce.
  5. Bake for 40-50 minutes. Chicken can be served with buckwheat, rice or potatoes.
