To bake potatoes with lard, you will need the following:
- 700 g potatoes, cut into small pieces;
- 2 tbsp. l. olive oil;
- 3 tbsp. l. mixtures of any seasonings to taste;
- 0.25 tsp kosher salt;
- 1 tbsp. lard with streaks of meat, cut into small cubes;
- 0.25 tsp fresh ground pepper.
Step-by-step cooking process
Potatoes with lard in the oven in foil according to the classic recipe are prepared as follows:
- It is necessary to preheat the oven to 200°C and lightly spray four rectangles of foil with oil.
- Place the potatoes in a large bowl, drizzle with olive oil, pepper, sprinkle with a mixture of seasonings and salt, mix everything well.
- Next, the potato mixture should be divided equally into pieces of foil and finely chopped lard should be placed on top.
- Then you need to fold the foil and seal the ends, place on a baking sheet, seam side down, place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
