  • 4-5 pickled cucumbers;
  • 400 gr. canned peas;
  • 2 carrots;
  • salt, pepper - to taste;
  • vegetable oil for frying;
  • mayonnaise for dressing.

We wash the chicken fillet and pat it dry with paper towels. Cut into flat pieces and fry in well-heated oil. During frying you need to add salt and pepper. Let the chicken cool and cut into small pieces.

Chop the onions and carrots. Chop the onion finely, the carrots into thin strips (you can use a grater). Fry in vegetable oil until tender, let the vegetables cool.

Finely chop the pickled cucumbers. If the salad is prepared with honey mushrooms, then leave the mushrooms whole. Larger mushrooms - cut into pieces. Mix chicken, mushrooms, fried vegetables, cucumbers and green peas in a large bowl. Stir and season with mayonnaise. Salt and pepper to taste.

Salad "Zodiac"

There are several versions as to where this dish got its interesting name. One of them is that to prepare this dish you need exactly 12 ingredients, the same number as the zodiac signs.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken fillet - 300 gr.
  • Marinated champignons - 500 gr.
  • Canned corn - 300 gr.
  • Fresh cucumber - 2 pcs.
  • Chicken eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Mayonnaise, salt, pepper, vegetable oil, green onions, parsley - to taste

Preparation:

  1. We clean the onion, wash it, finely chop it and fry it in a frying pan in vegetable oil. Wash the champignons and cut into small pieces.
  2. Boil the chicken fillet, cool and cut into medium-sized cubes. Wash the cucumbers.
  3. Boil, cool, peel the eggs. Now cut the cucumbers and eggs into small cubes of the same size.
  4. Drain excess liquid from corn.

Combine all prepared products in one container, add salt, pepper, season with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly. Decorate the finished salad with herbs and serve!
