Buckwheat in tomato sauce - a tasty and economical dish

Grechaniki are unique cutlets with buckwheat porridge inside. They can be cooked in a frying pan, but it is more interesting to make the dish in the oven. To make it juicy and satisfying with taste, there are many different tricks. All the secrets of the Greeks are revealed here and the best recipes are collected.

Buckwheat with minced meat in the oven - general cooking principles

The dish requires boiled buckwheat. You can specially prepare a little porridge or use the leftover side dish. It is only important that the cereal is crumbly; you should not use porridge or porridge mixed with sauces. Additionally you need minced meat or chicken. We buy it or twist it at home, the second option is much preferable. Homemade minced meat always turns out tastier, and the composition will not be in doubt.

What else do they put in buckwheat:

· egg;

· onions, garlic and other vegetables;

lard and other meat products;

· sour cream, tomato.

In fact, a cutlet mass is prepared from all these ingredients. You can change the types of spices, quantities, and add other components. Next, the minced meat is molded into round or elongated products and baked. All kinds of sauces and gravies are often added, the composition of which can also change. Since twisted meat and boiled cereals are used, cooking time in the oven rarely takes more than 45 minutes at 180 degrees.
