I offer you a recipe for very tasty, rosy potato zrazas with minced meat. They are very simple to prepare, however, they always turn out appetizing and tasty. Can be served as a separate dish or as a side dish. You can use any minced meat, for juiciness we will add an onion to it.


To prepare we will need:

  • Potatoes – 1 kg.
  • Starch – 1.5 tbsp.
  • Flour – 100 g.
  • Raw egg yolks – 4 pcs.
  • Medium size onion – 1 pc.
  • Greenery
  • Sunflower oil
  • Salt, spices - to taste
  • Minced meat – 500 g.

1. Wash the potatoes, peel them.

2. If it is large, you can cut it into pieces so that it boils faster. Place in a saucepan and fill with clean water. The liquid should completely cover the contents. We put it on the stove.

3. Prepare the filling. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan. We send minced meat here. As for meat, you can use whatever you have. For example, mixed, pork + beef. Fry until the minced meat is completely light.

4. When there is no pink juice in the pan with minced meat, add finely chopped onion. Fry together until soft.

5. Now add salt and pepper to taste. If you want, you can add your favorite seasonings to the meat. Add fresh herbs, in this case dill, to the pan with the minced meat. Mix everything and turn off the stove.

8. Lubricate your palms with vegetable oil. This will make it easier to work with potato dough. Take a little in your hand and shape it into a thin cake, right on your palm. Place the filling in the center.

9. Now cover the filling with the free edges and hide the minced meat inside. Form a neat cutlet.

10. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan. All products included in the preparation are currently ready for consumption. But, for an appetizing color, we need to brown our pies. Fry on both sides until golden brown.

To prepare you will need:

  • Potatoes - 800 gr.
  • Egg - 1 pc.
  • Minced meat - 300 gr.
  • Butter - 50 gr.
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Carrots - 1 pc.
  • Peppercorns - 6 pcs.
  • Allspice - 2 peas.
  • Bay leaf - 2 pcs.

They don't need a side dish. After all, it contains both potatoes and meat. As a nice bonus, we will also consider a recipe for a delicious sauce for them. I recommend!

The peculiarity of the recipe is that the zrazy are rolled in breadcrumbs, it turns out very appetizing!


To prepare we will need:

  • Potatoes – 800 g.
  • Salt and ground pepper to taste
  • Medium size onion – 1 pc.
  • Lavrushka – 2 pcs.
  • Medium sized carrots – 1 pc.
  • Flour – 3 tbsp. (approximately)
  • Minced meat – 350 g.
  • Raw chicken egg – 1 pc.
  • Breadcrumbs – 6 tbsp.

4. For now, remove the vegetables from the frying pan into a bowl. In the same frying pan, heat more oil and transfer the minced meat here. Stirring frequently to break up any large lumps, cook until the meat is light in color. Then add salt to taste.

5. Now add the previously fried vegetables to the meat. Mix everything.

6. When the potatoes are cooked, drain all the liquid from them. Cool it a little so that the egg does not curl when it gets there. Mash everything into a homogeneous puree without lumps.   • Potatoes – 1 kg.
  • Raw egg 1 pc. or starch - 2 tbsp. (of necessity)
  • Minced meat – 150 g.
  • Fresh champignons – 200 g.
  • A little vegetable oil
  • Medium size onion – 1 pc.
  • Flour – 5 tbsp.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dill, sour cream - for serving

1. As always, we start with the base - potatoes. We clean it and cut it into 2-4 pieces, depending on the size. So it will boil faster.

2. Transfer to a saucepan. Fill with cool, clean water. We put it on the stove. After boiling, cook for 20 minutes until fully cooked.

3. Peel the onions. Cut it into small cubes. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan. We send the onion here. Fry for some time until transparent. In the meantime, let's take care of the mushrooms.

4. Wash the champignons. If necessary, we clean it. Cut into small cubes.

5. Transfer the mushrooms to the onions. Fry everything together until the moisture evaporates. Then salt to taste, add pepper or your favorite spices. Mix everything and fry until the mushrooms are golden brown.

6. For now, transfer the mushroom mass from the frying pan to another bowl. Add a little more oil to the same pan. We transfer the minced meat here. Mix everything thoroughly so that there are no large lumps. Salt, season, fry for 7-10 minutes until cooked. Then transfer to the mushroom mixture. Mix everything and the filling is ready!

7. Drain all the water from the finished potatoes. Add about half a teaspoon of salt. Knead with a masher until smooth. If the vegetable was not starchy enough, you can add a couple of tablespoons of potato starch or one raw egg.

8. Now we will form the zrazy. Alternatively, in order not to get your hands dirty, you can put a regular plastic bag on your palm or put a piece of cling film. Add some puree and spread it into a thin flat cake. Place some filling in the center.

9. Press your palm so that the cake closes and all the filling remains inside. Roll in flour, forming smooth products without cracks.

10. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan. We transfer our products into a hot frying pan. There is no need to fry for a long time. After all, all the components are already pre-prepared for use. Our goal is only to give them a golden, crispy crust. After frying, place them on paper to remove excess oil.
