  • 3 potatoes;
  • 1 onion;
  • ½ bunch of dill;
  • seasonings as desired.

Canned saury pie is prepared as follows:

  1. Dissolve yeast, sugar, and salt in water. Beat in the egg, add flour, knead the elastic dough. Place the base in a deep bowl, cover with a towel and let rise in a warm place for about two hours.
  2. Boil the peeled potatoes until tender and make a puree from the vegetable.
  3. Mash the fish from the jar with a fork.
  4. Fry the onion, chopped into half rings, in oil.
  5. Combine puree, saury, and roast in a separate bowl. Add the necessary spices and chopped herbs to the filling.
  6. Roll out two unequal layers of dough, placing the larger one on a baking sheet sprinkled with flour. Spread the filling on top in an even layer. Cover the future pie with the second layer and pinch the edges.
  7. Bake the pastry at 185°C for 30-40 minutes.

  1. Mix the fermented milk product with mayonnaise, add two beaten eggs, add spices, soda and flour sifted through a sieve. Mix the semi-liquid dough.
  2. Finely chop the green onions.
  3. Mash the canned saury with a fork.
  4. Boil the remaining eggs, cool, and chop.
  5. Grate the potatoes.

Do you like savory pastries? Sometimes it seems to me even tastier than sweet. This pie has an inexplicable name for me “Two Captains”, but this strangeness is not reflected in the taste; try to cook it, especially since it is probably the simplest and fastest pie made from canned fish.

Today's jellied pie with canned fish and potatoes, which I want to offer you, for some reason is especially popular with men. I tried to cook savory pastries with feta cheese, onions, and cheese, but nothing aroused such enthusiasm in them as a pie with canned fish and not only from my family.

A friend said that after she made a pie with saury for the first time and her husband and son ate it with pleasure, the next day, when he came home from work, his son put several cans of canned fish on the table with the words: “Yesterday’s pie was too small.” ".

Dough:

Sour cream – 250 grams

Mayonnaise – 250 grams

Eggs – 3 pcs.

Flour – 6 tablespoons (heaped)

Salt and soda - a pinch each

Filling:

Saira – 1 jar

Potatoes – 1 pc.

  • can of canned food;
  • 600 grams of potatoes;
  • two onions;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • three eggs;
  • a glass of mayonnaise;

  • six tablespoons of flour.

  3. Shake the eggs, pour them into the kefir and semolina, then add the flour and knead the batter until smooth.

Attention! You cannot skip the stage of “soaking” semolina in kefir, otherwise the cereal will not swell, will remain hard and will creak on your teeth.
