I suggest making chicken chops with mushrooms. Very simple in ingredients and execution, but at the same time an appetizing, juicy, aromatic and tasty dish!
Description of preparation:
A universal recipe for all occasions.
Such a fragrant and satisfying dish will take its rightful place on any holiday table, and will also help out when guests are on the doorstep or you just want to pamper your loved ones with a simple, quick and tasty dinner. You can take absolutely any mushrooms, both fresh and frozen. It turns out very fragrant with forest champignons, and today I have frozen champignons. Try it! The recipe is simple, the set of ingredients is minimal, and the result is very worthy! You can serve the chops on their own or with any side dish. Chicken chop with tomato, mushrooms and cheese in a frying pan
List of required ingredients:
- Chicken breast - 700 g;
- Champignons - 400 gr;
- Onion - 1 piece;
- Tomatoes - 2 pcs;
- Cheese - 150 gr;
- Mayonnaise - 1 tbsp;
- Salt and pepper - to taste;
- Vegetable oil - 4-5 tbsp.
How to cook chicken chops with tomatoes and mushrooms in a frying pan:
1. Rinse the fillet well and dry with paper towels. Then cut across the grain into pieces about 2 cm thick.
2. Wrap a cutting board with cling film and place chicken meat on it. Cover the top with film as well. Next, beat the fillet first on one side, and then on the other.
3. Place the meat in a bowl, add mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste. If desired, you can add a clove of garlic or some spices. The main thing to consider is that the seasoning may also contain salt. Leave the chicken breast in the bowl for half an hour.
4. Chop the mushrooms and onions and fry in vegetable oil until the onions are ready.
5. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices and fry a little in butter on both sides.
6. Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan and heat well. Then, lay out the fillet and fry on one side until golden brown. The heat should be reduced a little, but do not cover with a lid.
7. After the meat is fried on one side, it needs to be turned over. Then place mushrooms and tomato slices fried with onions on it. Close the lid and fry for about 5-7 minutes.
8. Now, open the lid and lay out the grated cheese. Close the pan again and wait until the cheese melts.
Chicken chops with tomatoes and mushrooms are ready! Can be served with your favorite side dish. Bon appetit!
When preparing chops, it is better to use chilled fillets that have not yet been frozen.
How to cook Chicken Chops with Mushrooms
Prepare all ingredients.
Rinse the chicken breast, pat dry with a paper towel and cut lengthwise into the required number of servings. Beat the pieces on both sides with a special hammer, then sprinkle with salt and spices.
Cut the onion into feathers and fry with mushrooms in a frying pan until cooked. Finally, add salt to taste.
Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment and grease with oil. Place the beaten fillet.
Brush the fillet with sour cream or mayonnaise and place fried mushrooms and onions on top.
Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Chicken chops with mushrooms are ready. A simple but very tasty dish! It’s best to serve hot while the cheese is still stretchy and the meat is tender and juicy. Bon appetit!
Chicken chops with mushrooms and cheese
Compound:
- chicken breast fillet – 0.5–0.6 kg;
- fresh champignons – 0.3 kg;
- cheese “Russian” or similar – 0.2 kg;
- mayonnaise – 100 ml;
- refined vegetable oil - how much will be needed;
- salt, chicken seasoning - to taste.
Cooking method:
- Wash the chicken fillet and dry with napkins. Cut each piece in half lengthwise. Place the pieces in a bag, beat them on both sides, but not too hard so as not to damage the fibers.
- Remove the chops from the bag and season with salt and seasoning. Leave for 10-15 minutes to allow the chicken to infuse the flavors of the spices.
- Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and place the chops on it.
- Wash the champignons, pat dry with paper napkins, and cut into slices of approximately 3 mm.
- Place mushroom slices on top of chops.
- Lubricate the workpiece with mayonnaise.
- Finely grate the cheese and sprinkle it over the chops.
- Preheat the oven to 180–200 degrees. Place a baking sheet with chicken chops in it and bake them for 20 minutes.
All that remains is to place the chops on a platter and serve. You can serve the chops in portions, placing them on plates with a side dish.
Chicken chops with tomato, mushrooms and cheese in the microwave
List of required ingredients:
- Chicken breast - 500 g;
- Champignons - 300 gr;
- Onion - 1 piece;
- Tomatoes - 1-2 pcs;
- Cheese - 150 gr;
- Mayonnaise - 1 tbsp;
- Salt and pepper - to taste.
How to cook chicken chops in the microwave:
1. Rinse the chicken breast well and dry with a paper towel. This will help get rid of excess moisture.
2. Cut the fillet across the grain into pieces approximately 2 cm thick. Place them on a board, cover with cling film and beat on both sides.
3. Place the chopped meat in a deep plate, add mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and leave for half an hour.
4. Cut mushrooms, onions and tomatoes into small cubes. Pour 3 tbsp into the pan. vegetable oil and fry the onions and mushrooms over medium heat until tender. We don't touch the tomatoes yet.
5. Place pieces of chopped chicken fillet on a flat plate. Distribute the fried mushrooms and chopped tomatoes evenly on top. Place in the microwave for 25 minutes at 750W.
6. After 25 minutes, sprinkle the chops with grated cheese and turn on the microwave for another 2-3 minutes. As soon as the cheese melts, you can turn it off. Leave the plate in the closed microwave for 10 minutes.
Chicken chops with tomatoes and mushrooms in the microwave are ready! Bon appetit!
If you don't want to add mayonnaise, you can replace it with sour cream

List of required ingredients:
- Chicken breast fillet - 1-1.2 kg;
- Champignons - 500 gr;
- Onion - 1 piece;
- Tomatoes - 2-3 pcs;
- Mayonnaise - 350 gr;
- Cheese - 200 gr;
- Salt, pepper, spices - to taste.
How to cook chicken chop with tomato and mushrooms in the oven:
1. Rinse chicken breast fillet under running water and dry with paper towels.
2. Place the fillet on a cutting board and cover with cling film. It’s good to beat one side first, then turn it over and beat the other.
3. Place the beaten fillet in a bowl, add 2 tbsp. mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste. If desired, you can add a little chicken seasoning. Mix everything well and leave for 1 hour.
4. Chop mushrooms and onions in any convenient way. The main thing is not very large. Then, they need to be fried in vegetable oil until cooked. Next, cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
5. Grease a baking sheet with a small amount of vegetable oil and place pieces of chopped chicken fillet on it. Then, evenly distribute the fried mushrooms and tomato slices over all the pieces. Coat the top well with mayonnaise.
6. Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180° and bake for 25-30 minutes. Then, take out a baking sheet, put grated cheese on the chops and bake again for another 10 minutes.
