If you bake chops in the oven, the cooking time ranges from 10 minutes to 1.5 hours. This range is explained by the difference in the preparatory stage and the combination of meat ingredients with others, for example, vegetables.

Beef chops with potatoes

Cooking time: 70 minutes Number of servings: 4 servings Kitchen equipment: meat hammer, strong cutting board, heat-resistant baking container - 2 pcs., frying pan, oven.

Ingredients

Beef600 g
Tomatoes300 g
Hard cheese150 g
Vegetable oil4 tbsp. l.
Potato700 g
Salt peppertaste

Preparation

  1. Cut the beef into slices 1-1.5 cm thick and pound thoroughly on both sides. Salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Fry beef chops in a frying pan until golden brown, 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil and place in a baking container.

  3. Cut the tomato into slices and cover the meat.

  4. Bake beef for 50-60 minutes at 180°C.
  5. Sprinkle the chops with grated cheese 15 minutes before cooking.

  6. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into quarters. Young potatoes are best suited for baking, but if you don’t have any, use old-harvest tubers after peeling them.
  7. Brush potato slices with 2 tbsp. l. oil, salt and pepper to taste. Place in another heatproof container.

  8. Bake in the same oven with beef for 40 minutes at 180°C.

If all conditions are met, the meat and side dish should be cooked at the same time, so preparing a full dinner will not take much time and effort.
