How to cook:

All vegetables are well washed and peeled. Cut the onion into small cubes, carrots into small cubes, potatoes into large cubes. Bell peppers (you can take a little of a different color) are separated from the stalk, seeds and also crushed. Garlic is passed through a press.

Particular attention should be paid to tomatoes. First, pour boiling water over it, let it stand for about a minute, and then remove the thin skin. If you don’t have a fresh tomato, you can take a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste. You can cook the dish in a thick-walled pan, but stewed potatoes in a slow cooker without meat turn out more crumbly and tender.

Pour vegetable oil into the prepared pan and heat it well. Fry the onion until lightly browned, then add water and steam. As a result, the onion should be almost transparent and will not be visible in the finished dish.

Next, add tomato paste or grated tomato to the pan, add spices, and after about five minutes add carrots. Fry everything for about 3 minutes. If the carrots do not produce juice, you can add a little water. The next ingredient is potatoes. It is poured into a pan, filled with water and left to simmer under a closed lid for about 15-20 minutes.

A few minutes before the end of cooking, pepper the dish, add bay leaves and herbs. Next, close the container with the stewed potatoes tightly with a lid and let them simmer a little more for about 20 minutes. If the dish was prepared in a pan, you can wrap it with an additional towel.

Potatoes prepared according to this recipe are well soaked in vegetable juice and turn out aromatic, literally melting in your mouth. Serve it hot, sprinkled with a little chopped garlic if desired. It is worth noting that the calorie content of stewed potatoes prepared according to this recipe is quite low. Stewed potatoes with mushrooms - a classic recipe

Required:

  • Potatoes - 8-10 pcs.
  • Fresh mushrooms – 600 g
  • Onions - 2 pcs.
  • Butter - 3 tbsp. l.
  • Sour cream – 100 g
  • Salt, pepper, bay leaf, herbs - to taste

Preparation

  1. Peel, chop, scald fresh mushrooms and fry in a frying pan along with onions.

Such potatoes can be heated in the same pan, and even if they fry a little, it will only become more aromatic.

Peel the vegetables.

Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan and lightly fry the onions. 3 minutes is enough for the onion to become transparent and release its aroma.

Then add finely diced carrots. Carrots can also be grated. Fry everything lightly for a couple of minutes.

At this stage, add spices and a little salt. I add ground coriander and suneli hops, but these can be any spices that you prefer. Right now, when heated, they open up to their full potential.

Add water to the level of the potatoes, add salt and bring to a boil. Simmer under the lid slightly open until the potatoes are completely cooked. We will need:

  • Meat - 350 gr.
  • Potatoes - 500 gr.

Preparation:

Wash the meat, dry it, cut it into pieces. The meat was cut quite large.

Place the meat in a saucepan with a thick bottom, pour in 50-70 ml of water, and place on high heat.

  • garlic cloves – 4 pcs.;
  • bottled water – 1 l;

  • chopped mixture of thyme and turmeric, ground coriander seeds - 1 tbsp. l.;
  • table salt - 1 tsp.

Preparation proceeds as follows:

  1. Peel and cut the vegetables.

  3. Pour oil into a non-stick frying pan and fry the onions and carrots.
  4. Add pepper and zucchini.
