Potatoes with pork baked in the oven (step-by-step recipe)

Using this very simple recipe, today we will prepare a delicious dinner from our favorite products using mayonnaise. However, it can be replaced with sour cream or olive oil.

This combination will be an excellent option for people who follow the principles of proper nutrition. The pork is baked and juicy, and the potatoes are tender and flavorful.

Ingredients:

  1. Peeled potatoes about half a kilo;
  2. Pork, tenderloin is especially welcome - 450 grams;
  3. Turnip onion – 1 piece;
  4. Mayonnaise (sour cream, butter) – 2 tablespoons;
  5. A sprig of rosemary;
  6. 2 bay leaves;
  7. Salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation:

1. Cut the pork into small pieces. The size and shape of the cut can be absolutely any. If you use tenderloin, you can cut it into 1 cm thick plates and lightly beat it.

In this form, it will cook faster and will be especially soft and tender.

2. Finely chop the onion, into cubes or thin half rings. Who likes it more? Add all the prepared spices and mayonnaise to it and mix with your hands. As mentioned above, mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream or olive oil.

3. Cut the potatoes according to their original size. If it is small, then you can cut it into two parts, if it is large, chop it into slices or circles.

  5. Mayonnaise - to taste;
  6. Salt and black pepper to taste;

Preparation:

1. Cut the potatoes into circles and arrange them evenly, preferably in one layer on a greased baking sheet. The thinner you cut it, the sooner it will cook. Add salt and pepper on top. If desired, you can lightly sprinkle with your favorite spices.

A mixture of Provencal herbs, dried basil, thyme or rosemary can give a good taste and aroma.

2. Cut the meat into pieces in the form of steaks, the thickness of which should be no more than 1 centimeter. Beat and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Let it sit for a bit so that the spices penetrate inside.

It is better to beat steaks by covering them with cling film. In this case, the splashes will not fly away in different directions.

3. Cut the onion into thin half rings and cover the layer of meat with them. Make a mesh of mayonnaise on top. Adjust the layer thickness yourself, it depends on your preferences.

If you don’t have a package of mayonnaise with a special thin “spout,” then use a regular plastic bag. To do this, simply pour the sauce into a bag and cut off the tip from one of the corners. The thinner you cut, the thinner the mesh you will get.

In addition, the recipe that we are going to look at now does not require adding oil. The dish will be juicy, thanks to the internal juices of the meat and potatoes. Therefore, it is suitable for both food lovers and people on a diet.

The ingredients are simple and are found in almost every refrigerator:

  1. Potatoes 600-700 grams;
  2. Pork meat - about half a kilo;
  3. 2 onions;
  4. Salt and pepper in the amount at your discretion;

Preparation:

1. Cut potatoes and meat into arbitrary pieces, maybe cubes or cubes. Who likes it more? Chop the onion into thin half rings.

2. Salt, season with pepper and place in a baking bag, having mixed everything first. If desired, you can add your favorite spices to the ingredients.

2. Cut the lard into thick pieces. Three cheese on a grater.

If you don’t like lard, replace it with smoked sausage, mushrooms, or any minced meat, but then you need to add a piece of butter.

3. We form 3 deep molds from foil. Lubricate each with vegetable oil.

4. At the bottom of each, place pieces of lard or its replacement.

5. Divide the potatoes and onions into three parts so that there is enough for three ramekins.

6. Sprinkle 1/2 of the onion, which is intended for 1 mold, onto the lard in a mold, add salt and season with spices to taste. Then add 1/2 of the potatoes, then the onion that remains and cover it with the rest of the potatoes, season with salt and spices. We do this with all the molds.
