  • Nowadays it’s difficult to surprise guests with a holiday salad. Many of us have seen various intricate, brightly decorated dishes. However, I want to talk about original squid salads. They are quite light, very tasty and look great.

    Classic nautical

    What do you need:

    • 500 g shrimp.
    • Two squids.
    • Four eggs.
    • 200 g crab sticks.
    • Mayonnaise to taste.
    • 50 g red caviar.

    How to cook:

    1. Place a pot of water on the fire; when it boils, add the shrimp and cook until they float to the surface. Remove them from the pan, cool and peel.
    2. Dip the defrosted squid in boiling water for 30 seconds, then remove the skin and remove the entrails.
    3. Boil the eggs, cool, remove the shell.
    4. Cut crab sticks and hard-boiled eggs into small cubes, squid into strips, combine them in a suitable bowl, add shrimp, then mayonnaise and mix.

    Place the prepared sea salad with shrimp, squid and crab sticks on plates and garnish each serving with red caviar.

    Light with cucumbers

    This salad prepares very quickly. It can be placed on the holiday table. For cooking you will need available products.

    What do you need:

    • One squid.
    • Two eggs.
    • Two cucumbers.
    • 200 g crab. chopsticks
    • Salt.
    • 100 g shrimp.
    • Mayonnaise.

    How to cook:

    1. Wash the cucumbers, dry them, cut off the edges and cut into small cubes. Place in a salad bowl.
    2. Thaw seafood in advance. Then scald the squid with boiling water, remove the skin, clean the carcass from the insides and rinse thoroughly. Place in a pan of boiling salted water and cook for no more than three minutes. Then cool, cut into strips, and place in a salad bowl.
    3. Cut the crab sticks into cubes and add to the rest of the ingredients.
    4. Boil the eggs until hard, cool, remove the shells and cut into cubes. Place them in a salad bowl.
    5. Peel the boiled shrimp. You can first put it in boiling water for a minute. Add them to the salad.
    6. Season the appetizer with mayonnaise (or a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream), if necessary, add salt and stir.

    It is advisable to put the finished salad in the refrigerator for a short time before serving.

    Red Sea salad with bell pepper

    This salad combines light and satisfying ingredients. The main component is crab sticks; you should not skimp on this important ingredient. Non-frozen ones from a trusted manufacturer are best suited. This delicious salad is easy and simple to prepare. It will take you no more than 5 minutes to prepare. It is also good for a holiday table and for a weekday.

    Imagine how beautiful and bright it will look on your table.

    The salad is very tasty and original. As I already said, you can prepare it in literally 5 minutes, the main thing is to prepare the ingredients. I no longer remember where I tried it for the first time, but it did not leave me indifferent and I began to cook it regularly. “Red Sea” will decorate any holiday table, and guests will simply be delighted with its taste. Now let's look at its composition.

    Ingredients

    • Crab sticks - 200 gr.
    • Cheese - hard varieties
    • Tomatoes - 2 pcs.
    • Bell pepper (red) - 2 pcs.
    • Garlic
    • Mayonnaise

    You noticed that there is nothing extra natural in the ingredients. If you look in your refrigerator now, you will definitely be able to find all these products. Well, maybe with the exception of crab sticks.

    I just think that this is a product that is bought specifically for the holidays, but it can be done without difficulty. Again, this is my opinion and it is customary in our family to prepare salads containing crab sticks on holidays.

    Let's return to our “Red Sea”.

    The first step to take is to cut the crab sticks into strips, maybe even not a large stick, with a side of 3-4 mm. or just tear it into fibers, like mine.

    And put it in a deep cup, or you can immediately put it in a beautiful salad bowl.

    Now cut the bell pepper into strips.

    From the name of the salad it is clear that the pepper must be red. It must be cleaned, seeds and partitions removed. And only after that cut it.

    You need to do the same with tomatoes. Cut them into fours and remove the inside with the seeds. We cut only the hard shell of the tomato into strips.

    And throw it into the general pile))).

    We also send cheese grated on a coarse grater there.

    Squeeze a couple of cloves of garlic through the garlic press. Add salt and pepper to taste.

    In general, this is a strictly individual step. Everyone has a different taste, some like garlic, others the opposite. Therefore, whether to add or not is at your own discretion. For me, it tastes better this way. Same with salt and ground pepper, add to your taste.

    Now all that’s left is to add mayonnaise, mix and decorate. That's what we do.

    Done... Transfer to the table for serving in a beautiful dish and garnish with bell pepper. You can also decorate with greenery. Agree, there is nothing complicated, but to taste, the salad is one of the first to be swept away at the holiday.

    With champignons and pineapples

    This squid, crab sticks and shrimp salad is the perfect dish for the New Year's holidays.

    What do you need:

    • 400 g squid.
    • 100 g shrimp.
    • 200 g crab sticks.
    • 100 g canned pineapples.
    • A small bunch of green onions.
    • 200 g canned champignons.
    • Three eggs.
    • 100 g red caviar.

    Separately for dressing and decoration you need to prepare:

    • 150 g mayonnaise.
    • Olives.
    • Lettuce.
    • Parsley.

    How to cook:

    1. Salt the water, heat it, boil the squid for three minutes, then rinse and cut into fairly thin strips.
    2. Hard-boil eggs, cool.
    3. Cut boiled eggs and canned pineapples into cubes.
    4. Cut the champignons and crab sticks into small pieces.
    5. Boil shrimp and peel.
    6. Mix the ingredients, then add chopped green onions, season with mayonnaise sauce.
    7. Place red caviar on top, garnish with olives and parsley.

    Lenten salad with seafood

    Another wonderful recipe for a lean seafood salad also has a subtle taste of mysterious oriental cuisine and a delicious aroma. Very easy to prepare. Light, useful and beautiful, it will become a real decoration of the festive table.

    Ingredients for 2 servings:

    • squid carcass - 1 piece;
    • peeled shrimp - 150 gr.;
    • pitted olives - 100 gr.;
    • sweet salad pepper, preferably green - 1 piece;
    • tomatoes, medium - 2 pieces;
    • sweet salad onion - 1/2 medium onion;
    • salt - 20 g;
    • seasoning for fish - 1 teaspoon;
    • water - 1 1/2 liters;
    • soy sauce - 25 ml;
    • olive oil - 25 ml;
    • honey - 5 g;
    • sesame seeds for decoration - 1 tbsp. spoon.

    Cooking time: 30 minutes.

    Calorie content of 1 serving: 185 calories.

    How to cook this dish:

    1. Thaw shrimp and squid, remove films and entrails. Bring 1 1/2 liters of water to a boil, add fish seasoning and salt. Place the squid carcass in boiling water, wait until the liquid boils again, add shrimp, wait until it boils again and remove the pan from the heat. Pour out the water, cool the shellfish and cut into small pieces;
    2. Now let's prepare the sauce. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry frying pan until they turn light yellow. Combine soy sauce, honey, olive oil and sesame seeds in a small bowl, stir and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes;
    3. Peel and chop the lettuce pepper. Divide the tomatoes into quarters, remove the juice and seeds, and then finely chop;
    4. Cut the salad onions into thin, transparent half rings, and the olives into rings;
    5. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, stir, drizzle with chilled dressing and serve immediately. The treat is ready!

    With tomatoes and cheese

    Another salad with squid, shrimp, crab sticks and red caviar is prepared according to the following recipe:

    • Squid for 200 g.
    • 200 g crab sticks.
    • 300 g tomatoes.
    • 200 g shrimp.
    • 60 g cheese.
    • 50 g red caviar.
    • 60 g mayonnaise.

    How to cook:

    1. Cut the pre-thawed crab sticks lengthwise into thin strips and place in a salad bowl.
    2. Boil the squid (for 3 minutes, otherwise it will become rubbery), once cooled, peel and cut into thin strips, about the same size as crab sticks. Place the squid in the salad bowl.
    3. Boil the shrimp when cool, peel and add whole to the salad.
    4. Wash the tomatoes, dry them, remove the stems, cut into quarters, then into thin slices. Place the tomatoes in a salad bowl.
    5. Cut the cheese into as thin strips as possible, then add it to the rest of the salad ingredients.
    6. Season the dish with mayonnaise and mix gently.
    7. Add red caviar and mix carefully again.

    Place the salad on the table immediately. If you do not plan to serve the dish right away, it is recommended to put it in the refrigerator and add the caviar right before serving.

    Salad with squid, crab sticks and corn

    This salad may remind us of the well-known “crab” salad, but don’t rush to conclusions. This treat is more delicious and more tender, and also has a refreshing taste, thanks to cucumbers and green onions.

    Another undoubted advantage of this dish is the simplicity of its preparation, so if unexpected guests are already standing on your doorstep with one foot, and you have nothing to treat them with, then this is a lifesaver.


    To prepare we will need:

    • Squid (boiled) – 300 gr.
    • Crab sticks – 300 gr.
    • Corn – 1 can
    • Chicken eggs – 5 pcs.
    • Cucumbers – 3 pcs.
    • Green onions - to taste
    • Sour cream/mayonnaise - to taste

    1. Prepare everything you need for cooking and start cutting.

    2. Cut the cleaned and cooked squid into strips and pour into a bowl.

    3. Next, cut the crab sticks into cubes and add them to the squid.

    4. Chop the eggs in any way and place them with other already chopped products.

    5. Peel the cucumbers before chopping, this will make the salad more tender and soft, and will also save us from the possibility of “getting” a bitter vegetable.

    6. Wash the green onions under running water and finely chop them.

    7. Drain the liquid from the canned corn and place it in a common bowl.

    8. Well, now we season the dish with the most preferred sauce (sour cream/mayonnaise), salt and pepper. Mix our mixture and place it in beautiful plates or in an elegant salad bowl.

    With mussels

    This salad is easy to prepare and has an original combination of ingredients.

    What do you need:

    • 150 g canned squid.
    • 100 shrimp.
    • 100 g crab sticks.
    • 100 g mussels.
    • Four quail eggs.
    • One and a half tablespoons of yogurt.
    • Two spoons of red caviar.

    How to cook:

    1. Boil quail eggs and cool. This will take approximately 20 minutes.
    2. Thaw shrimp and mussels. Then put a pan of water on the fire. When it boils, pour it over the shrimp and mussels for a couple of minutes.
    3. Cut the canned squid into strips, chop the quail eggs with a knife.
    4. Defrost crab sticks, remove the shell, cut crosswise.
    5. Mix the eggs with red caviar, mash the eggs well with a fork and mix.
    6. Combine all the salad ingredients together: shrimp, mussels, squid, crab sticks, eggs with caviar. Stir and put in a salad bowl. It is recommended to add yogurt just before serving.

    If the squid is too salty, it needs to be thoroughly washed or even soaked. You need to defrost seafood gradually so that it does not turn into mush. Instead of quail eggs, you can take chicken eggs. If you wish, you can add other ingredients to the salad, such as corn, potatoes, etc. Instead of yogurt, you can spread the salad with olive or other vegetable oil.

    With cucumber and pangasius

    What do you need:

    • 400 g crab. chopsticks
    • 800 g pangasius fillet.
    • 250 g red caviar.
    • Eight eggs.
    • 800 g cleaned squid.
    • Two cucumbers.
    • 250 g peeled shrimp.
    • Bay leaf.
    • Mayonnaise.
    • Pepper, salt.

    Preparing the salad:

    1. Throw salt and bay leaf into a pan of water. When the water boils, add the pangasius, cook for about ten minutes, then remove the fish fillets from the pan with a slotted spoon.
    2. Let the same water boil and put the squid in it, cook for about three minutes. Remove the squid, boil the water again and add the shrimp, cook for about five minutes.
    3. Cool all boiled seafood.
    4. Boil the eggs and cool.
    5. Cut crab sticks and pangasius into cubes, squid and cucumber into strips, chop eggs with a knife. Place all this in a suitable container and spread with mayonnaise.
    6. Place the prepared salad with shrimp, squid, crab sticks, cucumber and fish in a salad bowl, garnish with caviar and whole shrimp.

    When serving, you can use a form for cold appetizers. If it is not there, it is proposed to cut off the bottom and neck of the plastic bottle.

    With iceberg lettuce and quail eggs

    What do you need:

    • 500 g squid.
    • 200 g crab sticks.
    • Six quail eggs.
    • 500 g shrimp.
    • A quarter of iceberg lettuce (you can use Chinese cabbage).
    • Green onions.
    • Dried dill.
    • Mayonnaise.
    • Salt.

    Preparing a salad with squid, shrimp, crab sticks, eggs:

    1. Boil squid and shrimp separately. Cooking time is 2-3 minutes after boiling. Cool the seafood, then clean it.
    2. Chop green onions and iceberg lettuce.
    3. Leave the shrimp whole, cut the squid into rings, and cut the eggs into halves.
    4. Place all ingredients in one bowl, add dried dill and mix.

    Divide the salad among plates. Serve mayonnaise and salt separately so that everyone can add salt and season to their own taste.

    A simple recipe for salad with squid and crab sticks

    A simple and budget salad with squid and crab sticks. It’s very easy, and most importantly, quick to prepare such a treat, so take note.

    You can decorate the dish in an original way using a pastry ring, or if you don’t have one, you can shape it using a regular plastic bottle, cutting it off on both sides. For a festive table, you can make such a salad, portioned for each guest.


    To prepare we will need:

    • Squids – 1-2 pcs.
    • Crab sticks – 3 pcs.
    • Onions – 0.5 pcs.
    • Boiled egg whites – 3 pcs.
    • Mayonnaise – 2-3 tbsp.
    • Greens - to taste
    • Salt - to taste

    1. So, first we need to boil chicken eggs (in the future we will only need the white) and process the squid, as we described above how to do it correctly.

    2. Now let’s make crab sticks (you can use crab meat instead) - cut the sticks into small cubes.

    3. Remove the whites from the yolks and chop them in the same way as crab sticks. We also need half an onion; we need to chop it as finely as possible.

    4. Mix all ingredients in a deep bowl and season with mayonnaise.

    Mix the salad and place it in a ring, press lightly with a fork and carefully remove the device. That's all, all that remains is to decorate with greenery to your liking.
