If you only have half an hour, cook the sausages in batter on a stick. For aroma and improved taste, add your favorite seasonings and spices. Please note that the consistency of the batter should resemble very thick sour cream.

Advice! The perfect consistency of batter will coat the spoon evenly and drip off slowly.

Add milk to the dough last. Using the liquid product we will determine the consistency of the dough.

Compound:

  • 4 tbsp. l. corn flour;
  • 6 tbsp. l. premium wheat flour;
  • 1 tsp. salt;
  • 1 tsp. granulated sugar;
  • 1 tbsp. l. ground paprika;
  • 1 chicken egg;
  • 0.1 l pasteurized cow's milk;
  • 1 tsp each baking powder and soda;
  • 6 pcs. sausages.

Preparation:

  1. First, sift the wheat and corn flour.
  2. Combine both types of flour in a blender container or deep bowl.

  3. Add baking powder and table soda.
  4. Immediately add granulated sugar and fine crystalline salt.
  5. Add sweet ground paprika.

  6. Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly.
  7. Add a chicken egg to the bulk ingredients and gradually pour in pasteurized milk at room temperature.

  8. Using a blender or mixer, beat all the ingredients until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. Let us remind you that it should be very thick.

  9. Remove the casing from the sausages.
  10. We string them onto skewers, but do not pierce them through.

  11. Pour a large amount of refined sunflower seed oil into the frying pan. Let's heat it up.
  12. Meanwhile, bread the sausages in flour.

  13. After this, dip into the dough, it should evenly cover each sausage.

  14. Place the sausages in boiling oil and fry evenly until golden brown.

  15. First place the fried sausages on a paper towel.
  16. When the excess oil is absorbed into the towel, place the appetizer on a dish and serve. Don't forget to add the sauce.

Ingredients

  • 400 grams of sausages;
  • One chicken egg;
  • Half a teaspoon of turmeric;
  • 200 grams of wheat flour;
  • 200 ml milk;
  • A pinch of salt;
  • One tablespoon of granulated sugar;
  • One teaspoon of baking powder;
  • 800 ml sunflower oil.

How to make batter for sausages in batter

  1. Sift the flour through a sieve into a deep bowl.
  2. Add all the bulk ingredients to the flour: granulated sugar, turmeric, baking powder, salt. Mix thoroughly.
  3. In a second bowl, combine the milk and egg and beat well.
  4. Add the liquid mixture from the second bowl into the granular mass in the first and knead the dough. The texture should not be too thick, but not very liquid either. Make sure the sausage batter in the batter can stick to the sausage. If it doesn't stick, then add a little more flour.

How to cook sausages in dough

  1. Cut the sausages in half and place on wooden skewers.
  2. Take a convenient saucepan and pour sunflower oil into it. Bring to a boil.
  3. Place each sausage on a skewer into the dough. Let the excess drip off. To make the process convenient, pour the sausage batter into a tall, cut-off plastic bottle. This way you won't get dirty and your homemade sausages will be completely submerged in it.
  4. Place the sausages in the dough into a pan with heated oil, which should completely cover them. Fry them in portions of 4 pieces, and make sure that they do not stick together.
  5. Fry all the sausages in the batter until golden brown on both sides.

But you can cook sausages in dough on a stick in another way. The recipe that we will now describe is liked by many cooks. We will bake the sausages in the oven and in puff pastry. This delicacy contains fewer calories and is suitable for those who do not like fried foods.

Compound:

  • 10 pieces. sausages;
  • 0.3 kg of hard cheese;
  • 1 tbsp. l. wheat flour;
  • ketchup - to taste;
  • 0.5 kg of semi-finished puff pastry without yeast.

Preparation:

  1. Take the puff pastry out of the freezer in advance and defrost it naturally.
  2. Remove the casings from the sausages.

  3. Grate hard cheese on a medium or coarse grater.

  4. Sprinkle the table with sifted flour.
  5. Cut the semi-finished puff pastry into several rectangles. The number of dough pieces should correspond to the number of sausages.

  6. Lightly roll out each rectangle with a rolling pin.
  7. Lubricate with ketchup. You can use mayonnaise or other sauce to taste.

  8. Place a layer of shredded cheese on top.

  13. At a distance from each other, place the sausages in the dough on a baking sheet.

  15. Bake at a temperature of 180° until an appetizing golden crust appears.
  16. Before serving, string the sausages in the dough onto skewers.
