Classic dumpling casserole in the oven

Components:

  • 0.5 kg dumplings;
  • 150 g cheese;
  • half a glass of water;
  • half a glass of sour cream;
  • salt;
  • favorite seasonings.

  1. Combine sour cream with seasonings in a plate. Gradually add water, stirring all the time to obtain a uniform liquid.

Important: in any recipe you need to thoroughly pour the sauce over the dumplings. It must hit all available spaces. Then the dumplings will be soaked and will not be dry.

How to prevent dumplings from sticking together

The problem can be avoided if you follow a few simple rules.

  1. Place the freshly made dumplings on a baking sheet or tray, sprinkle with flour and leave for 10-15 minutes to dry, spaced apart. Only after that send them to the freezer in the same baking tray. After a couple of hours, they can be poured into a bag and put in the freezer for long-term storage.
  2. For dumplings, it is better to use quick deep freezing of the dry type. If your refrigerator has such a function, be sure to use it. In a regular freezer, the dumplings are likely to stick to each other due to the presence of moisture in the device and the long time.
  3. To prevent dumplings from sticking together during cooking, place them only in boiling water. Do not defrost them first, otherwise the dough will become soft and will likely stick together in the pan. Salt the water before adding dumplings, and after cooking, add butter or your favorite sauce to the finished dish.

Recipe 7: dumplings baked with cheese in the oven Lazy wife

For those who love dumplings, I suggest preparing this casserole for a change. This casserole will be tastier with homemade dumplings, but store-bought ones will also work, of course. Just pour the filling over the dumplings, put it in the oven and go about your business, and in 30 minutes a delicious lunch or dinner is ready.

  • Dumplings 450 gr.
  • Chicken egg 4 pcs.
  • Sour cream 200 gr.
  • Hard cheese 70 gr.
  • Salt to taste
  • Spices to taste
  • Vegetable oil in fact

Grease a baking dish with oil and place the dumplings in one layer. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 200*C.

In the meantime, let's prepare the filling. To do this, beat the eggs.

Add sour cream, salt and spices to taste and whisk again.

Pour this mixture over the dumplings.

Sprinkle them with grated cheese.

And put the dumplings back into the oven, this time for 30-40 minutes at 180*C, until the top is golden brown.

Lazy dumpling casserole in the oven, as you already understood, is absolutely easy to prepare. This dish does not require delicacies or expensive ingredients. All ingredients are available and can be found in almost any refrigerator.

Ingredients:

  • dumplings (semi-finished products) – 0.8 kg;
  • Russian cheese – 150 g;
  • chicken egg – 4 pieces;
  • table mayonnaise – 0.25 liters;
  • salt, mixture of ground peppers;
  • a bunch of greenery;
  • refined sunflower oil.

Preparation:

  1. We don’t take the dumplings out of the freezer yet; there is no need to defrost them first.
  2. Immediately prepare the form in which we will cook the casserole, carefully grease the bottom and sides with refined vegetable or softened butter.
  3. Grate hard cheese on a medium grater.
  4. Place mayonnaise in a deep bowl.
  5. Break raw chicken eggs into a separate bowl.
  6. Using a mixer or blender, beat the eggs until you obtain a homogeneous consistency.
  7. Combine the beaten egg mixture with mayonnaise.
  8. Add salt and a mixture of ground peppers to taste.
  9. Wash the greens thoroughly, dry them and finely chop them with a knife.
  10. Add chopped greens to the above ingredients.
  11. Using a hand whisk or blender, combine these ingredients. The filling should acquire a uniform consistency.
  12. Transfer the frozen dumplings to the prepared pan and pour the prepared sauce over them. We try to distribute it evenly.
  13. Sprinkle everything with cheese on top and put it in the oven.
  14. We will bake at a temperature of 180° for 30-35 minutes.

Alternative option

Your oven or microwave is broken, but you want to treat your guests to a casserole? Try cooking it in a frying pan. In addition to dumplings, you will need frozen vegetables. It is best to give preference to ready-made mixtures, for example, Mexican.

On a note! During the process of frying vegetables, a lot of juice is released; it must be drained. First, fry the vegetable mixture until half cooked. The vegetables will arrive along with the rest of the ingredients. Otherwise, you will overcook them and they will turn into tasteless mush.

Compound:

  • 0.3 kg of semi-finished dumplings;
  • 200 g vegetable mixture;
  • 0.1 l cream;
  • chicken egg – 2 pcs.;
  • hard cheese - 0.1 kg;
  • dried herbs, spices and salt.

Preparation:

  1. Fry the vegetable mixture in refined sunflower seed oil until half cooked.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine eggs with cream.
  3. Whisk these ingredients until smooth.
  4. Add salt and dried herbs to taste.
  5. Place frozen dumplings in a frying pan on top of the fried vegetables.
  6. Mix them and pour in the prepared egg-cream dressing.
  7. Grate the cheese on a medium grater.
  8. Sprinkle it on top of the casserole and put it on low heat.
  9. Cook the dumpling casserole for a quarter of an hour in a sealed container.
  10. To make the dish brown, at the very end, open the lid and cook the casserole for a couple more minutes on maximum heat.

  • Dumplings (frozen, preferably home-made) - 800 g
  • Chicken egg - 4 pcs
  • Mayonnaise () - 250 g
  • Onions - 3 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 100 ml
  • Hard cheese – 150 g
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Allspice - 1 tsp.
  • Greens (to your taste)

Peel the onions, cut into cubes, place in a frying pan

And sauté in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Eggs and mayonnaise

Beat until smooth with a mixer.

Heat a deep frying pan, grease with vegetable oil and place frozen dumplings on it in an even layer. If the pan is heated, the dumplings will not stick to the bottom.

Place fried onions on top of the dumplings in an even layer.

Pour in egg-mayonnaise mixture

  3. Place frozen dumplings in a greased pan in one layer. Dumplings are the main ingredient in this dish, so you shouldn’t skimp on their quantity;
  4. For a few minutes, set the dumplings aside, and in the meantime beat eggs with milk in a bowl;
  5. The selected cheese is grated and a small part is sprinkled onto a mixture of eggs and milk;

You can cook your favorite casserole in a frying pan. The recipe for such a dish is perfectly complemented by vegetable components, and any vegetables can be used, depending on taste. Read on to learn how to prepare the Lazy Wife dumplings and vegetable casserole, and knowing this recipe will not leave you hungry.

  • frozen dumplings - 300 g;
  • frozen vegetable mixture - 300 g;
  • egg - 3 pcs;
  • cream of any fat content - 100 ml;
  • cheese - 100 g;
  • seasonings - to taste;
  • oil.

It will take about 20 minutes to prepare.

Calorie content of 100 g of casserole is 135 kcal.

  1. The frying pan is heated over a fire and oil is added, the amount of which varies at your discretion. As soon as the cookware is hot, reduce the heat to low;
  2. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, mix eggs, cream and seasonings. An appropriate substitute for cream would be sour cream;
  3. The vegetable mixture is fried in a frying pan until half cooked;
  4. Next, dumplings are laid out with the vegetables and the whole thing is poured with the egg mixture;
  5. Grated cheese is sprinkled on top of everything. Cover the frying pan with a lid, set the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes;
  6. Towards the end of the process, remove the lid and increase the heat to maximum. In this state, the dish is fried for 1–2 minutes;
