To make lazy cabbage rolls, you will need the same ingredients as for classic cabbage rolls. Only you don’t have to wrap the minced meat in cabbage leaves, since it is included in its composition. Try it!
Description of preparation:
The difference between lazy cabbage rolls and regular ones is that in the latter, I wrap the minced meat in a cabbage leaf, but for the lazy ones, all the ingredients are mixed, formed into balls and simmered in a saucepan with the addition of sauce.
Thanks to this method, the preparation process itself takes much less time. You can use ready-made minced meat or make it yourself; you can also mix several types of minced meat. The dish is tasty, filling and simple. Purpose: For lunch / For dinner Main ingredient: Meat / Cereals / Rice / Minced meat Dish: Hot dishes / Stuffed cabbage rolls / Hedgehogs Geography of cuisine: Russian cuisine
Features of lazy cabbage rolls
To prepare such an unusual dish you will need cabbage, minced meat and rice. The shape can be absolutely any, at the discretion of the housewife. Some of them cook everything in the form of large or medium-sized cutlets. And those who want to reduce cooking time even more take all the necessary ingredients, chop them, and then simmer them in a saucepan, in the oven, in a slow cooker or in a frying pan.
Lazy cabbage rolls, for example, baked in the oven, have one more important advantage compared to the traditional dish (with whole cabbage leaves). The fact is that not all children like stewed cabbage leaves. Many of them simply open them, eat only the filling, and put the top aside. In this version of the dish, you do not need to unroll anything, since the cabbage will already be cut into small pieces and, as a rule, it will not be noticeable in the overall composition of the cutlets. This is just an ideal option for little capricious ones.
So, we suggest further considering how to make lazy cabbage rolls.
