This pie proves that cooking is an art! The pie is incredibly beautiful, but, oddly enough, it is very easy to prepare. How to make apple pie "Rose"

  1. Peel, core and cut two apples into small cubes. We will add them to the dough. In the meantime, put them in a bowl and pour lemon juice over them so they don’t darken.
  2. Prepare the dough. Break the eggs into a bowl, add salt, sugar and beat with a mixer until fluffy.
  3. Add sour cream, vegetable oil, vanilla extract and beat again. Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl, mix first with a spatula, and then beat with a mixer.
  4. The dough turns out like thick sour cream. Add chopped apples to the dough and mix well.
  5. Line the bottom of the baking dish with parchment or grease it with a special non-stick emulsion. Coat the bottom and sides with odorless vegetable oil and place the dough in the mold.
  6. We level the dough and prepare the remaining apples for decorating the pie. To do this, cut the apples in half, cut out the core and chop the halves on a grater to get very thin slices. We don't cut off the peel!
  7. We place thin slices in a circle in the dough, starting from the sides of the mold to the middle in this way: lay them with the peel up so that the slices slightly overlap each other and press them a little into the dough.
  8. When all the slices are placed, the top of the cake looks like a rose! Press the slices again so that they go deeper into the dough, and sprinkle sugar on top to form a sweet golden brown crust on the pie.
  9. Place the pie in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for one hour. Our pie is ready!

Lightly sprinkle the top of the pie with powdered sugar. Apple pie “Rose” turns out moderately sweet, with piquant apple sourness and a sweet crust! Tender pieces of pie melt in your mouth instantly! How to make Apple Rose Pie

1. Mix flour with cold butter, add sugar, salt and mash everything by hand or using a mixer. Add 4 tbsp. l. cold water. Form this mixture into a ball of dough.

2. Place the dough in a bag and refrigerate for at least an hour. After an hour, start forming the crust. To do this, cover the dough on both sides with cling film so that it does not stick to the surface.

3. First, with your hands, and then with a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a cake half a centimeter thick. Grease a pan lined with parchment paper and spread the cake evenly in it, forming the edges. Using a fork, poke holes in the dough to prevent it from puffing up. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

4. Cut the apples into thin slices, mix them with sugar, pour in a small amount of lemon juice and add a cinnamon stick. Add water and put on fire. Boil the apples for about 5 minutes, but be careful not to overcook the apples.

5. Prepare the cream. To do this, separate two yolks, add sugar to them and mix. Add 100 ml. milk and 50 g flour. Stir the mixture so that there are no lumps in it. Add this mixture to well-heated 500 ml. milk and, stirring constantly with a whisk, cook until the mass thickens.

6. Pour the cream into the prepared cake. Drain the apples and let them cool. By carefully folding each apple slice and wrapping it around the previous slice, make apple roses. Decorate the cake with them.

7. The pie is ready. If you wish, you can put it in the oven for another 10 minutes and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!

Original recipe for Yablochnitsa pie

When I came across this interesting recipe, it seemed complicated to me. But after the BD, a bottle of white wine, apples, nuts remained unopened... And I remembered the recipe!

There is nothing difficult...except for cutting apples into strips and laying out roses, but you can involve children in this task; they twirl the roses with great pleasure!

Ingredients for the dough: 125 grams of soft butter (a couple of hours without refrigeration) 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar (or fine sugar, you can take fine brown sugar) 1 egg 1 bag of vanilla sugar (optional) 1 tsp. orange or lemon zest (grate the skin of a lemon or orange on a fine grater) 100 gr. ground almonds or hazelnuts (put the nuts in a bag and crush them with a rolling pin - you will get ground nuts)

150 g of flour (180 g may be required. It is better to sift the flour through a sieve)

Ingredients for the cream: 400 ml of milk (preferably 3.4-4% fat) 100 ml of white wine such as Riesling or Chardonnay or Aligote (Required, as it is the whole flavor feature) Alcohol will evaporate when heated, so the cake will be alcohol-free!

3 yolks 1 tsp. orange or lemon zest 6 tbsp sugar (any kind, but brown cane sugar will be more interesting) 4 tbsp flour (it’s better to sift the flour)

Apple roses: 5-6 apples, preferably dense ones with thick skin

The calorie content of the pie is moderate, which is important!

PROCESS

Stir the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar and zest, add the egg and ground nuts.

Add flour gradually and little by little (I add it through a sieve) The dough should be soft and elastic

Spread the dough into a standard baking dish with a diameter of approximately 22/24 cm. Form the sides (see photo!)

Place the mold in the refrigerator while the cream is prepared.

For the cream, mix flour with sugar, vanilla and zest. Add the yolks and a little milk. Stir until smooth. Add the rest of the milk and wine. Cook the cream over low heat, stirring constantly to avoid lumps and cool. You can also cook in a “water bath”, stirring constantly.

Using a vegetable peeler, we prepare ribbons for roses along with the peel. We arrange apple ribbons with roses. We spread the cream on the dough, roses on it.

We glaze (lubricate) the roses with heated confiture or jam. Then they will not dry out during baking and will be covered with a caramel crust. Confiture (jam, use any jam, as long as it has a uniform consistency). You can sprinkle a little ground cinnamon.

Bake at 180 degrees in a preheated oven. We wait until the dough is baked and the apples become golden. Approximately 35-40 minutes.

You can check the readiness of the dough by piercing the dough with a wooden match. If the match is dry, without any remaining dough on it, then the pie is ready! If the dough has not yet been baked, and the apples begin to burn (at about 30 minutes), then cover the mold with a circle cut out of foil or food parchment.

How to make Apple Pie “Tea Rose”

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Mix 30 ml. milk, dry yeast and 1 tsp. sugar, let the mixture stand for about 5-7 minutes.

Pour the sifted flour into a deep bowl for kneading the dough, add salt, the remaining sugar and milk.

Add pieces of butter, pour in the yeast mixture, knead the dough. This can be done by hand or with a mixer, as you like.

Cover the dough with film and let it rise for 1.5-2 hours, the dough should increase in volume by about 2 times.

Peel and core the apples, cut into thin half-rings.

Divide the dough into 2 parts (this makes it easier to work with). Roll out into a layer and cut into strips 1.5-2 cm wide.

Prepare the mold, lightly grease it with butter, place a strip of dough along the side, the next layer is a strip of apple slices, cut side down, and so on until the very end, until the mold is completely filled.

When the mold is completely filled, brush the top with cream (or a mixture of egg yolk and a tablespoon of milk).

Sprinkle brown sugar on top; you can substitute regular sugar.

Bake the pie in the oven at 180-190 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

The slightly cooled pie can be sprinkled with powdered sugar and served.
