Pork rolls with cheese - a very simple and at the same time filling and tasty dish! You can prepare rolls and serve them at the dinner table or for dinner. They go well with a variety of side dishes.

How to get soft and juicy meat?

Pork is generally soft, and when cooked correctly, you will get a tender, melt-in-your-mouth dish.

Method 1 - marinating

It is with the help of marinating that the kebab turns out soft and tender. So why can’t this method be used for other pork dishes? By keeping pork in a marinade or special sauce for just a few hours, you can get truly excellent flavor. The following combinations are suitable for this:

  • Vinegar+onion+salt+pepper
  • Mustard+honey+onion+soy sauce
  • Soy sauce+onion+garlic+herbs
  • Ketchup+onion+pepper
  • Sour cream+salt+pepper

You can add spices and herbs to any marinade at your discretion (after all, there is no dispute about tastes).

Method 2 - beat off

Do you like pork chops? But it is your “assault” that makes them tender and soft. It is better to beat the meat through cling film or a bag (meat fibers do not fly away in all directions), after salting and peppering it.

Only with the help of mechanical action can we obtain the thin layer of meat necessary for our roll.

Method 3 - baking in foil

The foil serves as a kind of protection against the evaporation of moisture from the meat. But if you just wrap the piece in foil and bake it, there will be no result, and the pork will come out bland and tasteless. Therefore, you still need to coat it with sauce or marinade before baking. For this you can use sour cream, mustard, soy sauce. And to get an appetizing crust, unroll the foil 15-20 minutes before the end of baking. You can also stuff the entire piece with garlic cloves, making deep cuts inwards.

To really delight your meat with its spicy taste and aroma, cook it with a sweet and sour companion. Citrus fruits, kiwi, quince, apples, and prunes can play this role. You can use these products to make an original filling for a roll, or you can put the meat itself around pieces in foil.

Don't forget about the garlic: make deep cuts in the piece and place half a garlic clove there along with a pea of allspice.

What filling can you use for meatloaf?

Pork differs from other types of meat in that it can be combined with almost any filling. We have already noted that sweet and sour fruits go great with pork. But vegetables will also be a wonderful tasty alternative.

So, the following combinations of products are suitable for a pork tenderloin roll:

  • Carrots+onions+mushrooms;
  • Eggplants + bell peppers + tomatoes;
  • Prunes + minced meat + walnuts;
  • Minced meat from any other type of meat with spices;
  • Cheese + greens;
  • Egg+onion+mashed potatoes
  • Bacon+pickled cucumbers

In general, as a filling you can use those products that the hostess has in the refrigerator. Don't forget about spices and herbs. Combined with pork: rosemary, dill, basil, oregano, allspice and black pepper, garlic, mustard, honey. Spices can be lubricated and sprinkled on the meat itself, or added to the filling.

With mushrooms and cheese

In this recipe we will prepare a meatloaf from ground pork minced meat, baked in the oven, stuffed with cheese and mushrooms.

An oven-baked roll stuffed with cheese and mushrooms is a wonderful decoration for a holiday table. This delicious dish can be prepared in no time, has an appetizing appearance and a unique aroma. In addition, it does not require huge financial costs.

Ingredients

  • 695 g pork (tenderloin)
  • a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil (olive, grape seed oil, etc.)
  • 1/3 cup water or broth
  • Ground pepper to taste: white or black
  • crushed nutmeg
  • sea or table salt

For filling:

  • 255 g fresh champignons
  • a little less than half a package of butter
  • one-third cup white bread crumbs or breadcrumbs
  • a couple of tablespoons of chopped parsley
  • a couple of tablespoons of cheese, grated
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • dill, parsley

Cooking steps

  1. The meat, washed in cool water and dried, is ground twice in a meat grinder with a fine mesh. The resulting mass is salted, pepper and chopped nutmeg are added.
  2. Next, the minced meat must be spread on gauze slightly moistened with water, forming an elongated cake from it, the thickness of which is approximately one and a half centimeters.

Preparing the filling

  1. Washed and peeled mushrooms are cut into small strips. After which they should be placed in a frying pan with butter, which was initially heated. The mushrooms are fried and seasoned during the process. The finished champignons should stand and cool, only after that they can be safely mixed with bread crumbs, pre-grated cheese and chopped parsley.
  2. The resulting aromatic mass is placed in the center of a cake made from ground meat and spread evenly over it. To get a roll, you need to twist the cake, pulling the gauze fabric in one direction.
  3. The resulting roll is carefully transferred to a frying pan with high sides pre-treated with vegetable oil. It is fried on one and the other side until a beautiful brownish color is obtained. After which the roll is laid out on a baking sheet with meat broth poured in and placed in the oven for about half an hour.
  4. The meat delicacy that we received can be cut into small circles, or it can be presented whole so that guests can enjoy the beauty of the roll.

Recipe for pork meat rolls stuffed with cheese in cream sauce in the oven

We have been preparing such rolls for the holidays for many years - in particular, they are still on the restaurant banquet menu. This dish is also offered for weddings or anniversaries. But in this recipe, the ingredients are quite affordable, and the preparation is quick, so you can cook pork this way for a regular family dinner.

You can enjoy this dish often by changing the type of meat and the method of preparing the rolls. For example, instead of pork, you can take chicken or turkey fillet. We do not bake the meat in the oven, but boil it in a double boiler.

So that the cheese that leaks out during cooking does not drip into the water. The rolls can be placed in a baking bag. You can prick the meat around the edges with toothpicks and fry it in vegetable oil, double-breaded or without it. Or: lightly fry, and then pour in a mixture of wine and cream, then simmer under the lid until cooked...

The filling can also be changed. Block cheese is the basic option. You can also grate the cheese and mix it with chopped nuts, herbs (say, poached spinach), fried chanterelles or champignons

Ingredients:

  • 600 g pork fillet (loin or thigh, a thin layer of fat is allowed - it will make the finished dish juicier)
  • salt and black pepper
  • 150 g hard cheese
  • 3-4 tablespoons cream (any fat content)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard with a large heap
  • 1 tablespoon butter or vegetable oil
  • This amount of ingredients makes approximately 3 servings.

Preparation:

We wash the pork, dip it in a paper towel, cut it into thin slices and beat it with a hammer or knife. If the meat is not cut well, you can freeze it slightly (for 10 minutes) - this will make it more manageable.

Place the pieces in a stack, sprinkle with salt and pepper (without fanaticism). You can use any other spices. For example, paprika, nutmeg, turmeric, and rosemary go well with pork. After this, the meat can be used immediately, but it is better to refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight to marinate better

Mix the coating sauce from cream and mustard. Instead of cream, you can use sour cream or even mayonnaise, but it is with cream that the pork will be as tender and flavorful as possible

Cut the cheese into cubes. They can be quite large.

During baking, excess cheese will leak out of the rolls and bake around the edges, but this will not spoil the dish - on the contrary, this cheese with a golden crust will decorate the rolls

Lubricate each piece of pork with creamy sauce. After this, place a block of cheese on the edge of the chop (the one that is slightly narrower). Roll up the meat. The roll can be secured with a toothpick (pictured) or wound with thread

Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet. The edge (“seam”) of the roll should be at the bottom

Bake at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes

Allow the pork to cool slightly and “set”, place on a platter and serve while it is still hot.

By the way! To make the finished rolls more festive in appearance, you can make twice as much creamy marinade sauce. The remainder of this sauce can be coated or poured over the rolls before baking - this will make them even more beautiful, with a golden brown crust. And another 5-10 minutes before they are ready, you can sprinkle the rolls in the oven with grated cheese.

As you can see, these rolls are very easy and simple to prepare. Try it, you won't regret it. Bon appetit!
