Chicken rolls with cheese

Oven-baked chicken rolls with cheese are an incredibly tasty dish that will elegantly decorate any holiday table. I always treat my guests to these rolls - everyone is happy with the taste, they always ask for more. Even looking at the list of ingredients, you immediately understand: the result simply cannot be a failure, so I advise you to try to prepare the dish for yourself and your family.

You can serve the rolls simply with a salad of fresh vegetables or with potatoes, porridge or stewed vegetables - as you like.

Ingredients:

  • Vegetable oil;
  • Mayonnaise - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • Garlic - 3 teeth;
  • Carrots - 1 piece;
  • Hard cheese - 150 g;
  • Chicken breast - 1 kg;
  • Salt;
  • Spices.

Recipe:

Cut the breast lengthwise into thin slices.

Beat, salt, pepper and let brew for 20 minutes.

While the breast is infusing, grate the carrots and cheese on a fine grater, mash the garlic, mix with 1 tbsp. spoon of mayonnaise.

Place the cheese mixture on each slice of chicken and roll it up, tie it with white thread, not too tightly, holding the ends together more tightly. You can secure it with a toothpick, foil, silicone strands and other fasteners - do as you please, there are a lot of culinary “fixtures” now.

Fry each roll in a frying pan in vegetable oil on both sides.

After removing the thread from them, place the fried rolls in a saucepan, fill them halfway with water, and grease each one with mayonnaise. Place in the oven for 15 minutes at 230°C.

Serve both hot and cold.

How to cook Chicken Cheese Rolls

1. First you need to wash the chicken fillet, dry it with a paper napkin and cut it lengthwise. Beat the fillet a little so that the piece is thinner and more even. It is better to do this under cling film so as not to disturb the integrity and the chicken rolls with cheese at home hold the filling well.

2. Salt the fillet to taste and sprinkle with spices to taste. You can use pepper (black, hot, paprika) or chicken seasoning sets.

3. Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Peel the garlic and pass through a press. This recipe for chicken rolls with cheese also includes carrots, which need to be grated on a fine grater.

4. Add a little sour cream or mayonnaise to the filling, mix well and, if desired, add salt and pepper to taste. Place some on the edge of the fillet.

5. Roll up the rolls and secure. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and add the rolls there. Fry on both sides until golden brown.

Description of preparation:

I hasten to share with you a fairly simple option, even for a beginner in the kitchen, on how to prepare chicken roll with cheese and herbs.
To make the filling look more appetizing when cut, I recommend adding a bright accent: a slice of sweet pepper or carrot, for example. As for spices, I recommend using them to a minimum. Enough salt and pepper, and garlic for the greens, to make the roll tasty and aromatic. Chicken rolls with cheese in the oven

To create the dish you will need the following:

  • chicken fillet - 6 pcs.;
  • processed cheese - 50 grams;
  • hard cheese - 50 grams;
  • chicken egg - thing;
  • wheat flour - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • breadcrumbs for rolling;
  • a bunch of fresh dill;
  • salt and pepper - add to taste.

To prepare the chicken cheese rolls recipe, follow the directions:

  • The first step is to turn on the oven so that it warms up to 180 degrees.
  • The baking tray is lined with baking paper.

  • Cheese, both processed and hard, is cut into thin pieces.
  • Dill is chopped.
  • Place a piece of hard cheese on each thin layer and melted cheese on top. Sprinkle with dill.
  • A little salt.
  • Roll the fillet into a roll. Roll each one in flour.
  • Beat the egg in a bowl. Add salt and pepper.
  • After flour, dip each roll in the egg and then in breadcrumbs.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake in the oven. Half an hour at 180 degrees is enough.

Ready-made rolls will complement mashed potatoes, pasta or buckwheat porridge.

Chicken rolls with filling

1. In order to prepare delicious chicken rolls with filling, the first step is to properly prepare the chicken fillet. This procedure is the most important and it determines how well you can wrap the filling in rolls, so at this stage it is advisable to take your time, do everything as carefully as possible and strictly follow my recommendations. As practice shows, it is better to use thick pieces of fillet to prepare rolls, since they can be cut lengthwise into 2 parts to form large thin plates without any extra waste. If you get a small and thin fillet, then you won’t be able to make two normal cutlets out of it, so in this case you just need to cut off the thickened sections of meat from it, and in order not to throw it away, you can freeze them and later use them for some kind of stew. The fillet should be cut slowly and carefully so that you get thin, even and intact plates, since if any random holes appear inside, melted cheese may leak out through them during the frying process. Next, the prepared fillet must be covered with film and carefully beaten with a hammer, moving from the edges towards the center, so that it becomes even thinner and more flexible, after which it must be rubbed on both sides with salt and pepper and set aside briefly while the filling is being prepared.

Advice! If you are not a recognized expert in preparing such rolls, then I advise you to immediately purchase more chicken than required, because if some pieces are spoiled during the preparation process, you will still have some meat left over. For example, I used 1100 grams of chicken fillet for 10 rolls, and all sorts of scraps and excess were frozen, so they won’t go to waste either
