Hello! Today I want to bring to your attention a recipe for very tasty chicken in tomato-sour cream-cheese sauce, cooked in a slow cooker. Chicken meat is affordable, it is not fatty, and therefore is quite often present in the diet of many people. Cooking or stewing chicken according to classic recipes gets boring, so housewives are looking for new cooking methods.
One of these methods is stewing chicken meat in a sauce of tomatoes, sour cream and hard cheese. You can use either chicken fillet or a carcass cut into pieces. But the sauce is mixed using sour cream, tomato sauce and spices. You can sprinkle cheese on top of all the ingredients, or add this product directly to the sauce. You can marinate the chicken directly in the slow cooker, so there is no need to use other dishes. At room temperature, marinate the chicken for approximately 20 minutes and then simmer until cooked.
The result is incomparable chicken meat in the most delicate tomato-cheese-sour cream sauce. This chicken can also be served at the holiday table. The meat is very aromatic and tender, goes well with potato dishes.
How to cook chicken in tomato-sour cream-cheese sauce in a slow cooker
First, cut the chicken into medium pieces. In this form, the meat cooks quickly and is easier to serve.
In a small bowl, mix sour cream with tomato sauce; you can preserve it yourself for the winter. Tomato sauce is a great alternative to store-bought tomato paste and ketchup.
Place the prepared meat in a saucepan, sprinkle with seasoning and salt, stir. Then add the sauce, stir and leave for 20 minutes.
After this, pour a small amount of water and stir the products.
Sprinkle cheese on top, which must first be chopped on a coarse grater. If desired, cheese can be added to the marinating sauce. If you sprinkle it on top, the cheese will still combine with the sauce during simmering.
Close the lid and select the “Stew” program for 1 hour.
Serve hot chicken cooked in tomato cheese sauce. With this meat you can eat boiled pasta, cereals or baked vegetables. Bon appetit!

Many people love chicken, but in some dishes it turns out a little dry, especially the breast. Not in this recipe! I suggest preparing chicken breast stewed in sour cream and cheese sauce in a slow cooker.
Thanks to the sauce made from sour cream and cheese, as well as stewing in a slow cooker, the chicken meat turns out to be extremely tender and simply melts in your mouth. And such a dish does not take long to prepare; you can quickly feed not only the whole family, but also guests.

Cooking chicken breast in sour cream and cheese sauce in a slow cooker
1. Wash the chicken breast, separate it from the bones, and let it dry. Rub with salt. Instead of breast, you can use ready-made chicken fillet.
2. Squeeze the garlic into a bowl, mix with sour cream and spices. If the dish will be eaten by small children, no spices may be added.
3. Three cheeses on a coarse grater.
4. Lubricate the bowl with vegetable oil. Soak the chicken meat in sour cream and garlic sauce and put it in a slow cooker.
5. Place the remaining sauce on top and sprinkle with grated cheese.
8. Turn on the baking program, time 40 minutes. Can be replaced with a stewing program. Chicken fillet with sour cream and cheese sauce in a slow cooker is ready!
You can serve boiled potatoes as a side dish. It turns out very tasty! Real jam!
Chicken in sour cream with potatoes
What is remarkable about this recipe is that the meat is cooked immediately with a side dish.
Ingredients:
- 1 chicken;
- 1 glass of sour cream;
- 5-6 potatoes;
- 1 teaspoon red pepper;
- 2 teaspoons salt;
- Fresh greens.
Preparation:
We cut the chicken carcass along the breast, unfold it and wash it thoroughly. Then dry it and rub with half a teaspoon of salt. Add the red pepper and remaining salt to the sour cream and mix everything thoroughly. Turn on the oven and let it warm up to 200-220 degrees. Cover the baking sheet with foil. Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into halves. Now coat the chicken and potatoes with sour cream and place them on foil: the chicken in the middle, and the potatoes around it. Sprinkle everything with chopped herbs and put in the oven.
In about an hour, our chicken in sour cream will be ready. We check the readiness by the softness of the potatoes. If it can be easily pierced with a toothpick, you can remove the baking sheet from the oven and serve the chicken.

The result is a tasty, nutritious and quite healthy dish, since we will no longer fry the chicken, but stew it. As a side dish you can take durum pasta, mashed potatoes or any cereal.

Chicken drumsticks stewed in cream cheese sauce
Prepared by Marina in a Vitek multicooker
Chicken is prepared in all countries of the world and each nationality has its own signature recipe. I suggest preparing a dish of Mediterranean cuisine - chicken drumsticks stewed in creamy cheese sauce in a slow cooker.
It is better to choose feta cheese for the sauce, or another, but salty one. Let's take pitted olives, and, of course, sun-dried tomatoes. We will rub the chicken drumsticks with a mixture of aromatic herbs: rosemary, basil, marjoram, peppermint.
If you want to get juicy chicken meat, before cooking you need to fill the drumsticks with sunflower water and leave for a couple of hours in a cool place. For 2 liters of water we need 100 g of salt.
