  2. Heat the water until hot, but so hot that you can touch it with your hand. Pour it into the center of the flour-butter slide, while kneading.
  3. It is necessary to achieve smoothness and plasticity of the dough.
  4. Wrap the lump in cling film and send it to rest in a warm place for 15 - 20 minutes.
  5. Cut the lump into 8 pieces. Roll out each of them thinly on a table sprinkled with flour. The tortilla should be very thin, 3-5 mm thick.
  6. You need to fry these pancakes in a dry frying pan for a minute on each side, having prepared a damp, clean towel in advance.
  7. When removing, cover them with a towel to prevent them from drying out.

You can make a Spanish tortilla if you add grated hard cheese to the dough. This option is great for savory snacks, and can also be used in the form of bread.
