How to cut a whole herring

This fish is the most affordable of all nutritious seafood rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-3). Many people can afford it. Moreover, now it can be purchased both in packaging, already milled, and from a barrel - whole. So, a whole one turns out even cheaper, you just need to try a little and separate the fillet from the bones yourself. How to do it?

  1. Cut off the fish's head.

  2. Using the tip of a sharp knife, cut the belly from the anus to the neck. Gut the internal organs and remove the black intra-abdominal membrane.
