An amazing combination of products gives the expected result - a light, tender snack. This is the most popular and simplest recipe. In the original, all the ingredients are mixed, but if you included the dish in the holiday menu, lay them out in layers.
Take:
- Chicken breast (boiled) – 200 gr.
- Canned pineapples – 200 gr.
- Cheese – 100 gr.
- Garlic cloves – 2 pcs.
- Salt, pepper, mayonnaise, dill and parsley.
Step by step recipe:
Boil the chicken fillet in advance, adding salt to the broth and discarding any poultry seasonings. Cool without removing from the pan to ensure the meat is juicy. Chop into cubes of arbitrary size or divide into fibers.
Drain the preservative from the pineapple jar. Cut the fruit in proportion to the meat.
I recommend grating a piece of cheese on a grater with medium mesh.
Pass the garlic cloves through a press, turning them into a paste.
Place the prepared ingredients in a salad bowl.
Chop the greens and add.
Season the appetizer with sauce and pepper. Stir, taste and decide on the taste. Salt the dish if necessary.
If you decide to arrange the dish in layers, lay it out in any order, covering it with sauce. For decoration, use pomegranate seeds, nuts, and olives.
Light salad “Women's whim” with crab sticks and pineapple
An original and beautiful salad of crab sticks with pineapple pieces will be appreciated by family and friends, both at the dinner and holiday tables.
Cooking time: 25 minutes Number of servings: 10
Ingredients:
- chilled crab sticks (500 g);
- Chinese cabbage (1 head, small);
- canned pineapple (200-300 g);
- pitted olives (100-200 g);
- prunes (150 g);
- chicken egg (4-5 pcs.);
- soft creamy/processed cheese (150 g);
- onions/green (1-2 pcs/1 bunch);
- parsley/dill (for decoration, 1 bunch);
- mayonnaise (200 g);
- vinegar (2 tbsp);
- ground black pepper (to taste);
- salt (to taste).
Preparation:
- Pour boiling water over the prunes in a deep plate and cover with a lid. Steam it for 10 minutes.
- Place the eggs in a saucepan, fill with cold water and boil them hard (15 minutes after the water boils).
- Wash the cabbage and chop finely. Pour vinegar over it and lightly knead it to release the juice.
- Finely chop the crab sticks or grate them on a coarse grater.
- Drain the syrup from the canned pineapples and cut them into small cubes.
- Peel the onion and finely chop it.
- Remove the prunes from the water, dry them with a paper towel and cut them into pieces.
- Peel the eggs and grate them on a medium grater.
- Grate the cheese on a medium grater.
- Drain the marinade from the olives and cut them into rings.
- Wash the parsley and dry it on a paper towel.
- We form the salad in layers. The first layer is cabbage, salt, pepper, mayonnaise. The second is half of crab sticks, mayonnaise. Third - pineapples, mayonnaise. The fourth layer is eggs, salt, pepper, mayonnaise. Fifth – prunes, mayonnaise. Sixth - the rest of the crab sticks, mayonnaise. The seventh layer is cheese.
- Decorate the finished dish with olives and parsley (as in the photo).

Salad “Lady's whim” with prunes and walnuts
Another option, recognized as a classic. Let's make the salad in layers, since it is most often prepared for holiday serving.
I already shared a recipe the other day when I talked about a line of salads with chicken and prunes . Here I propose an interesting idea - marinate chicken breast and prepare a completely new dish.
You will need:
- Chicken – 500 gr.
- Cucumber.
- Prunes – 100 gr.
- Eggs – 4 pcs.
- Cheese – 100 gr.
- Walnut kernels – 100 gr.
- Parsley – 30 gr.
- Mayonnaise – 100 gr.
- Mustard - a large spoon.
- Soy sauce – 2-3 spoons.
- Ginger powder - teaspoon.
- Salt, pepper, chicken seasonings.
Step by step recipe:
Divide the breast into several parts and place in a bowl.
Separately, mix soy sauce with ground ginger and chicken seasonings from the bag in any composition. Pour over the meat, leave to marinate for a couple of hours, no less.
After the specified time has passed, fry the marinated chicken in a frying pan, adding a drop of oil.
At the same time, cut the fresh cucumber.
Coarsely grate pre-cooked and cooled eggs.
Crumble a piece of cheese in the same way.
Chop the parsley into fine crumbs.
Remove the shells from the walnuts and fry, stirring frequently, in a frying pan without oil. Cut it. Determine the size of the cut yourself; many people like it larger.
Soak the prunes by pouring boiling water over them. After a quarter of an hour, drain the liquid and blot the plums with a paper napkin. Cut the pulp into strips.
Cut the chicken into short pieces.
To prepare the sauce, combine mayonnaise with mustard and stir.
Place a split cooking ring on a flat plate. Lay out the bottom layer of eggs. Pour over the sauce and smooth out. Tamp the salad a little so that it doesn’t fall apart when you take it out of the ring.
Place cucumbers on top.
In a separate bowl, mix parsley with mayonnaise-mustard sauce.
Cover the cucumber layer.
Spread the chicken over the parsley and pour over the sauce.
Place the cut plums.
Make a layer of cheese shavings. Top with sauce again.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Leave the appetizer for a couple of hours so that the ingredients are soaked in the sauce. Then carefully remove the ring.

How to cook “Lady's whim” with tongue and ham
Original, elegant, as always when you prepare tongue dishes.
Necessary:
- Pork (or beef) tongue – 300 gr.
- Ham – 200 gr.
- Pickled cucumber – 2 pcs.
- Bell pepper, red.
- Mushrooms (champignons) – 200 gr.
- Mayonnaise – 5 spoons.
- Salt pepper.
Preparation:
- Boil the pork tongue. How to cook it correctly, look at the page where I talked about preparing salads with tongue . Let the product cool, divide into strips.
- Cut a few pieces into halves (they will be used to decorate the Ladies' Caprice), chop the rest as desired.
- Fry the mushrooms in a frying pan.
- Chop a piece of ham into small cubes.
- Remove the seed box from the sweet pepper and cut the pulp into cubes.
- Cut the pickled cucumbers in the same way.
- Lay out the appetizer in layers in the following order: tongue, dressing, cucumbers, ham, sauce mesh.
- Next comes pepper, chopped fried mushrooms. Drizzle the sauce over the layers. Garnish with champignon halves and herbs.
Spicy salad “Women's whim” with ham and prunes
Salad with ham, salami and prunes will serve as a wonderful and satisfying lunch for the whole family.
Cooking time: 20 minutes Number of servings: 5-6
Ingredients:
- ham (200 g);
- salami sausage (200 g);
- prunes (150 g);
- apple (large, 2 pcs.);
- red bell pepper (1-2 pcs.);
- peeled chopped walnut (100 g);
- onions/green (1-2 pcs/1 bunch);
- iceberg/lettuce/romaine lettuce (100 g);
- parsley/dill (for decoration, 1 bunch);
- mayonnaise (150 g);
- mustard (2 tsp);
- ground black pepper (to taste);
- salt (to taste).
Preparation:
- Place the prunes in a deep plate and pour boiling water over them. Steam it for 10-15 minutes under the lid.
- Wash the apples, remove the core; if the skin is rough, peel it off. We make several slices for decoration (see photo), cut the rest into strips or grate on a coarse grater.
- Wash the bell peppers, remove the core and seeds. Cut the pulp into short strips.
- Peel the onion and finely chop it.
- Remove the prunes from the water, dry them on a paper towel and chop them finely.
- Cut the ham and sausage into strips.
- Wash the salad leaves and greens and lay them out to dry on a paper towel.
- Prepare the sauce. Mix mayonnaise, mustard and ground pepper.
- Place ham, sausage, prunes, chopped apples, peppers, onions and walnuts in a deep container. Salt, season with sauce and mix well.
- Before serving, place the salad in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Serve the finished dish on lettuce leaves and decorate the top with parsley and apple slices.

An excellent salad from the “whims” series, moderately spicy. Take note, since such an appetizer is rarely found on the holiday table.
Compound:
- Smoked chicken breast.
- Korean carrots – 200 gr.
- Tomato.
- Eggs – 2 pcs.
- Kiwi - a couple.
- Apple – 3 pcs.
- Chips – 20 gr.
- Parsley, mayonnaise.
How to cook:
- Cut the smoked fillet into pieces.
- Cut the peeled kiwis into cubes and add to the chicken meat. Add sauce, stir. Make the salad base.
- Coarsely grate the pre-cooked eggs, separating them into whites and yolks. Scatter the egg whites over the meat layer.
- Squeeze out the Korean carrots, chop them, and make the next layer. Draw a grid from the dressing.
- Grate the apples and arrange among the carrots. Pour over the sauce.
- The top layer is the yolks.

We take:
- Squids – 4 pcs.
- Cucumbers - a couple.
- Ham – 120 gr.
- Red bell pepper.
- Corn - a jar.
- Dill, mayonnaise, salt.
Routing:
- Boil the squid, chop into long strips.
- Prepare fresh cucumbers and ham in the same way.
- Remove the seeds from the sweet pepper and cut into strips in the same way.

- boiled potatoes (4 pcs.);
- fresh/pickled cucumber (3-4 pcs.);
- boiled carrots (3 pcs.);
- boiled chicken egg (4 pcs.);
- green onions/onions (1 bunch/1-2 pcs.);
- parsley/dill (1 bunch);
- mayonnaise (150 g);
- ground black pepper (to taste);
- salt (to taste).
Preparation:
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes; you can use a vegetable cutter.
- Peel the carrots and grate them on a coarse grater or cut them into small cubes.
- Peel the eggs and cut into cubes.

An excellent recipe for a favorite dish, a version of a delicate ladies' appetizer with prunes, but with a smoked aroma.
Required:
- Smoked ham – 500 gr.
- Fresh cucumber.
- Eggs – 3 pcs.
- Cheese – 200 gr.
- Prunes – 100 gr.
- Champignons – 300 gr.
- Onion – 2 heads.
- Mayonnaise – 100 gr.
- Sunflower oil – 2-3 tablespoons.
- Pepper mixture - ½ small spoon.
Preparation:
- Steam the prunes by pouring boiling water over them for 15 minutes. then drain and dry. Chop the pulp.
- Chop the onion and fry in a frying pan until slightly translucent.
- Add chopped champignons. Continue to fry together until the liquid has evaporated. When the mushrooms are browned, turn off the burner, transfer the contents to a plate and cool.
- Remove the bone from the legs and divide the fillet into cubes.
- Cut the cucumbers in the same way. Grate the cheese and hard-boiled eggs on a large-mesh grater.
- Set aside a handful of chopped prunes for garnish. Place the rest into the base of the appetizer. Make a mesh out of mayonnaise.
- Cover with a layer of chicken meat and pour the sauce over again.

In the classic version, the Ladies' Caprice salad is prepared with prunes (200 g) and chicken (500 g), which play the role of key ingredients.
In addition, the composition contains:
- 3 medium-sized fresh cucumbers.
- Marinated mushrooms, preferably champignons – 2-3 pieces.
- Green or onion – 1 bunch or 2 medium onions.
- Walnuts – 150 g.
- Boiled chicken eggs – 4 pieces.
- Hard cheese – 200 g.
- Greens (parsley or dill) – 1 bunch.
- Lettuce leaves (you can take lettuce or iceberg) – 120 g.
For dressing you will need mayonnaise, the amount of which should be chosen according to your preferences, but on average you need 200 g. The only seasonings you will need are salt and pepper.
The preparation of the classic, layered salad “Lady's whim” begins with preparations.
1. First of all, put the chicken to boil (it’s better to use fillet).
2. Then put the prunes in boiling water and cover it with a lid for 15 minutes, this is necessary for it to steam.
3. Wash the cucumbers and cut off their tails, peel the onions and eggs, cut all these components into medium cubes.
4. The cheese is grated on a medium-diameter grater, the mushrooms are cut into thin slices.
5. Leaves and greens are washed and left to dry on a towel or paper napkin.
Since “Lady's whim” is traditionally prepared with nuts, they must be shelled and thoroughly chopped.
6. The prunes are taken out of the water and cut into small cubes; the chicken will also need to be cut into cubes, but medium in size.
7. After this, you can start laying out the salad itself; it will consist of the following layers:
- Place iceberg lettuce or lettuce on the bottom of the plate, then add chicken, onion, and a little salt and pepper.
