Before cooking the burgers, it's best to keep them at room temperature for at least 10 minutes to ensure the inside isn't too cold.

The burger is cooked on a hot stove (or frying pan) without adding oil, it cooks for about 2 minutes on each side and is flipped only once. Care must be taken not to let the cooking go on for too long, and above all, you should never press it down so as not to lose the juices. It's best to avoid cooking over high heat: this may be too aggressive, in which case the cutlet will quickly cook on the outside and remain completely raw on the inside.

In practice, the smoother and more uniform the cooking, the better the result. The cooking level can also be chosen to suit personal taste: just like with fillet, you can choose to cook it rare (here we mean golden brown on top). However, in our opinion, a good hamburger should be evenly cooked.

These small precautions will ensure that you have a soft burger with the right consistency. When it's almost done, you can optionally place a slice of cheese on top, cover and wait for the cheese to melt slightly.

Bread

This is a very important ingredient. The ideal bread has a soft and compact consistency: it should not crumble, but should absorb dressing well without over-curdling, and it should be easy to bite and chew. Typically for a hamburger, the bread is round, about 12-13 cm in diameter and just over 3 cm in height; it consists of a lower part that is more stable, while the upper part is looser and covered with sesame seeds. Before filling it with meat, it needs to be lightly fried.

This operation is performed only at the last moment, when the meat is almost ready.

Filling

The ideal hamburger sandwich, in addition to meat, also includes lettuce, tomato, cheese and bacon. The salad should be fresh, with leaves of a balanced size compared to the bread.

Salad tomato. It should be firm, not too ripe, and cut horizontally: the best pieces are the center ones. The ideal cheese has a delicate taste and melts well without moistening the meat.     "Classic Hamburger"

    Hamburger is the simplest burger recipe that doesn't require much effort. Includes bun, patty, sauce, pickled onions and lettuce. But this option can easily be supplemented with your favorite ingredients, for example, pickled or fresh cucumbers and tomatoes.

    Required ingredients:

    • Sesame bun – 5 pieces;
    • Beef cutlet – 5 pieces;
    • Lettuce leaves – 5 pieces;
    • White onion – 1 piece;
    • Ketchup – 60 grams;
    • Mayonnaise – 60 grams;
    • Mustard – 30 grams.

    Cooking sequence:

    1. First you need to make the sauce. To do this, mix ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard until smooth.
    2. Once you have all the necessary ingredients, assembling a burger will not be difficult. The first step is to cut the hamburger buns in half and dry them on the cut side in a frying pan for 1-3 minutes.
    3. Grease the dried bottom part of the bun with the pre-prepared sauce, and place a hot beef cutlet on top.
    4. Place a few white onion rings on top. To make the taste more delicate and juicy, it can be pre-marinated in table, apple or wine vinegar. It is enough to let the onion soak in vinegar for 10-15 minutes and its taste will change beyond recognition.
    5. Place the lettuce leaf on the onion.
    6. The composition is completed by the top part of the bun, which can also be coated with sauce for juiciness.

    It’s convenient that for a classic hamburger, the cutlets can be prepared in advance and sent to the freezer to wait in the wings. Thanks to this solution, a burger can be prepared in literally 10 minutes. The bun with sesame seeds makes it more like fast food, but in this version the hostess knows that all the ingredients are fresh and of high quality, and have been stored correctly.
