- 300 g beets
- 200 g carrots
- 3 eggs
- 100 g shallots
- 300 g potatoes
- 200 g mayonnaise
- 200 g herring fillet
- Salt and pepper
For the sauce:
- 100 g mayonnaise
- 10 g anchovies
- 100 g canned tuna
- 10 g capers
- 20 ml balsamic vinegar
- For decoration you can use caviar and herbs - to taste
Step 1. Prepare the vegetables. Bake the unpeeled beets in foil for 40-60 minutes. Wash the potatoes and carrots and cook until tender.

Step 10. Before serving, prepare the sauce: grind all ingredients in a deep bowl using a blender until smooth. You can add salt to taste.
Step 11. Pour the sauce over the salad and sprinkle with yolk. If desired, you can decorate with caviar and herbs.
Recipe No. 7 - Herring with beetroot mousse under a fur coat
The more delicate consistency of the salad will certainly please the invited guests, earning quite a few positive reviews from the hostess. Beetroot mousse based on gelatin will change the usual perception of Herring under a fur coat, competing with the classic recipe.
Products for cooking:
- 3 beets and potatoes, 1 carrot, boiled in the evening;
- several boiled eggs;
- medium-sized herring;
- 1/2 onion without peel;
- 1 table. l. gelatin;
- mayonnaise for dressing.
You can add salt and pepper, ground spices and aromatic herbs to taste.
1) Peel and grate the finished vegetables, placing them on plates until the components are combined.
2) Finely chop the eggs.
3) Fish - cut, remove all bones and cut into small cubes.

- 50 g herring
- 50 g baked potatoes
- 30 g baked carrots
- 50 g baked beets
- 1 boiled egg
- 30 g mayonnaise
- 5 g parsley
- 40 g phyllo dough
- 5 g pickled onions
- 1 boiled yolk
Step 1. Sprinkle the chicken yolk with salt in advance (12 hours) until it is salted and becomes hard.
Step 2. Bake vegetables with salt and vegetable oil in foil at 180 degrees for 40 minutes, cool and grate.
Step 3. Grate the egg on a coarse grater, add mayonnaise, chopped herring and parsley.
Step 4. Mix everything and let it brew for several hours.
Step 5. Bake the phyllo dough in a silicone semicircular mold for 2 minutes at 180 degrees.
Step 6. Place the prepared salad in a mold, rub salted yolk on top and garnish with pearl onions.
Recipe No. 9 - Herring with garlic under a fur coat
Ground dry garlic or fresh gruel will help add a peppercorn to the usual taste. It is added when dressing beets or herring.

- 60 g Jerusalem artichoke
- 1 sheet of nori seaweed
- 60 g carrots
- 20 ml lemon juice
- Parsley
- Green onions
- 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 40 g cashew cheese
- 20 g soy sprouts
- pollen
Step 1. Peel the vegetables and wash them.
Step 2. Grate carrots and Jerusalem artichokes on a fine grater into a container.
Step 3. We also grate the beets on a fine grater - separately.
Step 4. Add salt and pepper. Sprinkle the resulting mass with lemon juice.
Step 5. Add ½ part of cashew cheese to the container with carrots and pears, mix and place on a plate in a chef's ring.
Step 6. Soak finely chopped nori seaweed in water.
Step 7. Place on a ring and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley and green onions.
Step 8. Place the rest of the cheese and grated beets on top.
