- 2 tbsp. 6% apple cider vinegar

Preparation:
Finely chop the onion and pour 2 tbsp. l. vinegar, 100 ml of water and add 1 tablespoon of sugar. Leave to marinate for 20-25 minutes.
Grate the beets on a coarse grater.
Cut five eggs in half, take out the yolk, crush it with a fork and add to the grated beets.
You can also add boiled carrots or potatoes.

Place the potatoes on a roll mat, lay out the remaining ingredients, place thin layers of herring on one side and carefully wrap them to form a roll. Carefully cut the roll into 6 pieces, place on a plate, grate the egg, garnish with onions.
For convenient preparation of rolls, you can mash potatoes and add them using a cooking bag.
Salad “Herring under a fur coat” with peas
This bright salad is perfect for a home meal and will definitely not go unnoticed on the holiday table. Those who watch their figure will especially like it, since the dish is seasoned not with the usual mayonnaise, but with olive oil.

Ingredients:
- herring, fillet (400 g);
- boiled potatoes (large, 2-3 pcs.);
- boiled beets (large, 2-3 pcs.);
- boiled carrots (large, 2-3 pcs.);
- onions/green (2 pcs./1 bunch);
- boiled chicken egg (4-5 pcs.);
- canned peas (200-300 g);
- rosemary/basil/dill/parsley (for decoration, 2-3 sprigs);
- olive oil (100-150 ml);
- Dijon mustard (1 tbsp);
- dried rosemary (1 tsp);
- salt (to taste).
Preparation:
- We clean the boiled vegetables (potatoes, beets and carrots) and pass them through a vegetable cutter.
- We peel the eggs, chop them with a knife or also pass them through a vegetable cutter.
- Peel the onion and finely chop it.
- Cut the herring fillet into small slices.
- Place the canned peas in a colander.
- Wash the greens, dry them with a paper towel and divide them into small branches.
- Make the dressing - mix olive oil with mustard, add dried rosemary (before using, it is advisable to put the dressing in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes).
- In a deep bowl, mix herring, potatoes, carrots, beets, eggs, onions and peas. Season the salad with oil and seasonings and add a little salt.
- Place the finished dish in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Before serving, decorate with herring slices and rosemary sprigs (see photo).

Salad Herring under a fur coat in a new design “Bouquet of Roses”
Every housewife wants her table to be beautiful, festive, and to lift her spirits and appetite. Try to design Herring under a Fur Coat in a new way and get ready to hand out the recipes.
Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 3 pcs.
- Herring - 1 pc.
- Egg - 3 pcs.
- Carrots - 2 pcs.
- Beets - 2 pcs.
- Mayonnaise - 400 gr.
- Onion - 1 pc.
For the marinade:
- Wine vinegar - 1 tbsp.
- Salt, sugar to taste.
- Pancake batter:
- Milk - 130 ml.
- Egg - 1 pc.
- Flour - 80 gr.
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
- Salt - 1/2 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Beetroot juice - 20 ml.
Filling:
- Beetroot - 1 pc.
- Processed cheese - 1 pc.
- Garlic - 2 cloves.
Preparation:
Boil vegetables and eggs. Cool. Clean.
Finely chop the onion. Add a pinch of sugar, salt and wine vinegar to the onion, add a little water, stir and leave to marinate for 20-25 minutes.
Cut the herring, cut the fillet into small cubes.
Grate the vegetables on a coarse grater. Place the salad in layers on a flat dish.
Boiled potatoes, coated with a mayonnaise mesh, herring, pickled onions, mayonnaise mesh, grated eggs, mayonnaise, grated carrots, mayonnaise.
The last layer is beets, which we grate into a separate plate, squeeze lightly, the resulting juice will be needed for filling pancakes, take 2/3 of the beets, grease with mayonnaise. Place the salad in a cool place.
Mix the pancake dough. Take the egg, sugar, salt and milk, mix everything, add beet juice, mix again, gradually add flour and vegetable oil.
We bake like regular pancakes. This amount of dough makes 3 pancakes.
Preparing the filling for the pancakes. Grate the processed cheese on a fine grater, add chopped garlic to taste, the remaining beets, and mix.
Distribute the finished filling evenly over the entire surface of the pancakes.
Roll up the pancakes. Cut the roll into pieces 3 cm thick. Form roses and decorate the top of the salad with them.
We place sprigs of dill between the rosettes; you can put pomegranate seeds in the middle of the rosettes.

A beautiful and appetizing salad with herring and corn will pleasantly surprise you with its taste. It will definitely appeal to both adults and children.

Ingredients:
- herring, fillet (400 g);
- boiled potatoes (medium, 3-4 pcs.);
- boiled beets (medium, 3-4 pcs.);
- onions/green (2 pcs./1 bunch);
- canned corn (300-400 g);
- boiled chicken egg (3 pcs.);
- parsley/dill (for decoration, 1 bunch);
- mayonnaise (200 g);
- salt (to taste).
Preparation:
- Peel the potatoes and pass them through a vegetable cutter.
- We clean the beets and also pass them through a vegetable cutter.
- Peel the onion and finely chop it.
- Cut the herring fillet into small cubes.
- Drain the marinade from the corn, placing it in a colander.
- In a deep container, mix potatoes, beets, herring, onions, and corn. Season with mayonnaise and salt to taste.
- Place the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Remove the shell from the eggs and cut them into 2 or 4 parts.
- Wash the parsley, dry it with paper towels and chop it.
- Before serving, decorate the finished dish with egg slices and herbs (see photo).
Herring under a fur coat “New Year’s candles”
The New Year's table can be decorated with this unusual way of serving “Fur Fur”.
Ingredients:
- 6 slices rye bread
- 150 gr. beets
- 1/4 lemon
- 6 tbsp. l. mayonnaise
- salt (pinch)
- ground coriander (to taste)
- 1 salted herring fillet
- 1.5 tsp. gelatin
- 70 ml water
Preparation:
Pour cold water over gelatin.
Boil the beets, peel and cut into pieces.
Place the beets in a blender, add mayonnaise and coriander, and add salt to taste. Grind the ingredients to a puree.
Squeeze lemon juice and add it to the mixture. Taste the resulting puree. It should be sweet and sour.
Heat the gelatin a little, remembering to stir it and add it to the puree. Turn on the blender again and blend until smooth.
Cut round pieces from bread
Place pieces of herring fillet on top.
Place tall dessert rings on bread bottoms. Pour in beetroot mixture.
If you don't have such a device, use a regular thick file. Secure the joints with tape or a stapler. You can also use a plastic bottle.
Place in a cool place for at least an hour.
You only need to remove the rings before serving! If desired, brush the top with a thin layer of vegetable oil. Garnish the dish with lemon slices.
