  1. The eggs are immersed in boiling water for 10 minutes.
  2. The whites are separated from the yolks.
  3. The cheese is grated. This needs to be done on a fine grater.
  4. The fish is pounded with a fork.
  5. The oil is defrosted and kneaded.

Place the products like this:

  • Egg whites;
  • Cheese;
  • Canned food;
  • Onion;
  • Oil;
  • Yolks.

You can sprinkle greens on top.

Mimosa with canned fish and cheese (layers with sequence)

Each housewife has her own recipe for mimosa, and the sequence of layers may also differ. Some people put onions and fish in the first layer, but I prefer to start with potatoes. Because it absorbs liquid well, which still appears in the salad. In addition, it is more convenient to take a portioned piece without scraping fish remains from the main plate. I especially love this recipe because it uses quail eggs.

Ingredients:

  • Canned fish (weight without liquid) - 250 g
  • Potatoes – 250 gr
  • Carrots – 120 gr
  • Onion - 120 gr
  • Hard cheese – 120 g
  • Chicken egg - 4 pcs (quail egg - 20 pcs)
  • Mayonnaise
  • Greenery for decoration.

Cooking method: I’ll share another secret on how you can save time on cooking vegetables. You can quickly cook them in the microwave. To do this, vegetables must be peeled in advance. Place carrots and potatoes in separate bags and add 1-2 tablespoons of water to each bag. Bake them in an 800 W microwave for 4-5 minutes.

Try to take small tubers so that the vegetables do not remain raw inside. Check doneness with a wooden skewer.

The eggs must be boiled. If you cook quail, then keep in mind that you need to put them in boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Peel the finished product from the shell and separate the white from the yolk. Finely chop the onion, mix it with 1/3 tsp salt and 2/3 tsp sugar, add 1/2 tsp vinegar essence and pour 400 ml of boiling water.

Let it sit for 10-15 minutes, after which the marinade can be drained. Grate vegetables, eggs and cheese separately on a coarse grater. Mash the canned fish with a fork, after draining all the liquid from the can. When all the ingredients are prepared, you can start assembling the salad. It is very convenient to use a baking ring for this. Each layer must be coated with a small amount of mayonnaise.

Layers: Potatoes - onions - fish - carrots - cheese - egg white - yolk

Place the salad in the refrigerator for 2 hours. When serving, garnish with herbs.

Mimosa with melted cheese

Sometimes processed cheese is used instead of hard cheese. The recipe is cheaper due to the low cost of the product. Outwardly it does not look so bright, but the taste is softer.

To cook according to the recipe you need:

  • Canned food – 1 pc.;
  • 2 potatoes;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 1 onion;
  • Processed cheese – 200 gr;
  • 4 eggs.
  1. First step: washing and cooking vegetables.
  2. Next, you need to pour cool water over the eggs and hard-boil them (cooking for 10 minutes).
  3. Ready vegetables are cooled, peeled and grated.
  4. Saira is mashed with a fork.
  5. Vegetables and proteins are finely grated.

This recipe recommends using sardines in oil. Required:

  • Rice – 220 gr;
  • Eggs – 4 pcs.;
  • Fish – 1 can;

  • Pickled cucumber – 1 pc.;
  • Green onions – 2 tablespoons.
  1. Rice is boiled in lightly salted water.
  2. The fish is cleaned and kneaded.
  3. The eggs are hard-boiled, and the carrots are boiled until they are somewhat soft. It is rubbed coarsely.
  4. Onions are marinated in vinegar water with sugar for 30 minutes.
  5. The cucumber must be finely chopped.

  3. Grate egg whites on a small grater, apples on a large grater.
  4. The carrots must be boiled and grated as well.
  5. The egg yolks are simply crushed.

The layers are stacked like this:

Classic recipe for Mimosa salad with canned saury

This recipe was one of the first to appear in my cookbook. We prepared such a salad in labor class. The most simple products, laid out in layers and smeared with mayonnaise, but it always turned out very tasty. Then other recipes appeared, but this basis has always remained unchanged.

Products:

  • potatoes - 5-6 pcs. average;
  • eggs - 5 pcs.;
  • saury in oil - 1 jar;
  • carrots - 1-2 pcs. average;
  • onion - 1 large onion;
  • mayonnaise - 100-150 gr.;
  • greens - for decoration.

How to prepare Mimosa salad with canned fish:

Boil potatoes and carrots. It is advisable to do this in different saucepans, since the speed of cooking vegetables varies. Let's boil the eggs.

Peel the potatoes from their “jacket” and grate them. I use large divisions, we like it better.

We also remove the skin from the cooled carrots and grate them. And for now we put it aside.

Open the canned food and take out pieces of fish. Place them in a deep plate and crush them with a fork into small pieces. If the fish turns out to be a bit dry, you can add a little oil from the jar it was in.

Peel the onion, wash and cut into small cubes.

If you don't like hot onions, you can scald them with boiling water.

Cool the boiled eggs in cold water and remove the shells. Now we separate the whites from the yolks and grate them separately from each other. Sometimes I use a fork instead of a grater. It is also great for chopping eggs.

Well, now let's start assembling the salad. Place a layer of potatoes on a suitable plate, distributing them evenly and grease everything with mayonnaise.

Lay out the next layer of chopped fish. You can also coat it lightly with mayonnaise, but I usually leave it like that.

Now it’s the turn of the onion. Gently distribute it over the surface of the salad and also lightly season with mayonnaise.

Next we have carrots. We also coat it with mayonnaise.

For this layer we use proteins. I mixed them in advance in a plate with mayonnaise and now spread them over the entire surface of the salad, and also cover the sides.

And finally, distribute the yolk over the surface of the salad. It just serves as a beautiful decoration. Everything can be decorated with greenery on top.

Now put the plate with salad in the refrigerator for at least half an hour. That's all. Bon appetit! And this is what everything looks like in cross-section.

With saury and crab sticks

This appetizer option will definitely be the highlight of any feast. For 8 servings you need:

  • Fish – 1 can;
  • Crab sticks – 400 gr;
  • Rice – 300 gr;
  • Canned corn – 300 g;
  • Cheese – 250 gr;
  • Eggs – 5 pcs.;
  • Boiled carrots – 4 pcs.;
  • Bell pepper – 3 pcs.;
  • Green onions – 1 bunch;
  • Red or black caviar – 100 gr.

Cooking time – 35 minutes

  1. Cooking begins with washing the pepper and removing the seeds. It is cut into cubes.
  2. Carrots and eggs are grated.
  3. Crab sticks are cut into small cubes.
  4. Rice is cooked until fully cooked.
  5. Canned food is freed from liquid and kneaded with a fork. Be sure to remove all seeds and skins.

Advice! One crab stick is cut into strips (needed for decoration).

The layers of the dish are laid out like this:

  • Rice;
  • Fish;
  • Carrot;
  • Pepper;
  • Corn;
  • Crab sticks;
  • Proteins;
  • Cheese;
  • Yolks.

The layers are coated with dressing as desired. You can lubricate each layer or every other layer. The salad is infused for 2 hours before eating.

Recipe for Mimosa salad with canned food and rice

I learned this recipe relatively recently. It is more suitable for those who do not like potatoes in salads. It is an excellent substitute for rice here.

Products for salad:

  • rice - 100 gr.;
  • saury in oil (canned) - 1 can;
  • carrots - 2 pcs.;
  • eggs - 4 pcs.;
  • mayonnaise - 100 gr.;
  • onion - 1 pc. average;
  • green onions - 1 bunch;
  • greens for decoration.

Prepare a salad with canned fish and rice:

Boil the rice until done. Rinse it in running cold water. Let the excess moisture drain. Now we put it on the dish in which we will cook the delicious food. Lubricate it with mayonnaise on top.

The second layer will be canned fish. First, chop it with a fork and place it on the rice.

Chop the onion and white parts of the green onion. We put everything on top of the fish and also grease it with mayonnaise.

Next we have carrots. It should be boiled, peeled, grated and laid out in the next layer. We'll also add mayonnaise on top.

The next layer is eggs. We boil them first. Separate the whites from the yolks. Grate the whites and mix with mayonnaise. Place the mixture on a plate to cover the top and sides of the salad.

Now it's time for decoration. Chop the green onions and sprinkle them around the salad. Decorate the top with parsley sprigs.

Sprinkle everything with chopped yolk on top. Salad ready. Bon appetit!

With saury, cabbage and squid

This recipe is perfect for a feast.

Cooking time: 25 minutes

For cooking you will need:

  • Canned food – 1 pc.;
  • Squid fillet – 0.5 kg;
  • Beijing cabbage – 1 pc.;
  • Processed cheese – 300 gr;
  • Hard cheese – 200 gr;
  • Eggs – 7 pcs.;
  • Onions – 3 pcs.
  1. Step-by-step proper cooking of squid fillet looks like this: it must be thoroughly cleaned and washed.
  2. The water in the pan must be brought to a boil and only then add the product. Spices, bay leaves and salt are added to it.
  3. The squid is cooked for no more than a minute. As soon as the fillet turns white, it is removed from the pan.
  4. Cabbage is chopped finely.
  5. One of the boiled eggs can be cut into two parts to decorate the prepared salad.
  6. The eggs are finely grated.
  7. The onion is cut into cubes, the cheese (both types) is grated. The fillet is cut into pieces.
  8. The fish is kneaded.

The salad is arranged like this:

  • Cabbage;
  • Fish;
  • Onion;
  • Proteins;
  • Processed cheese;
  • Squid fillet;
  • Yolks;
  • Hard cheese.

Advice! You can decorate the salad with egg halves or herbs.

Each layer is coated with dressing.

With saury and fresh vegetables

This recipe is ideal for those watching their diet or those on a diet. The calorie content of the snack is minimal, but the taste has not lost any of its richness.

Cooking requires 15 minutes and the following products:

  • Canned food – 1 can;
  • Salad – 200 gr;
  • 3 tomatoes;
  • 2 peppers;
  • 2 avocados;
  • 2 onions;
  • Lemon – 0.5 pcs.;
  • Sesame – 30 gr.

The step-by-step preparation of the salad is as follows:

  1. It is necessary to remove the core from the tomatoes and finely chop their pulp.
  2. The seeds and core are removed from the pepper. It is cut into small cubes.
  3. The peel is cut off from the avocado and the pit is removed. Avocado pulp and onion are cut into cubes.
  4. The fish is kneaded, the salad is washed and dried (a paper towel is needed for this).
  5. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon into a separate bowl for dressing.

According to the recipe, the salad is not laid in layers, but mixed immediately.

How to make a mimosa recipe without potatoes with crackers

There are few people who are unfamiliar with no-bake cookie cakes; thanks to the cream, they are soaked and turn out very tender and tasty. Why not use this technique to prepare snacks. We will replace sweet cookies with salted crackers, and cream with fillings from canned fish, cheese, and eggs.

You will need:

  • canned fish - 1 can
  • salty crackers - 45 pcs. square size
  • eggs - 5 pcs.
  • hard cheese - 100 gr.
  • green onion
  • mayonnaise

How to do:

Let's prepare all the layers in advance:

  • Grind the fish together with the juice using a fork, add 2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise and mix;
  • grate the whites on a fine grater, mix with mayonnaise to form a soft, homogeneous mass;
  • finely chop green onions;
  • Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

We begin the process of assembling the mimosa:

  1. Lightly grease a flat dish with mayonnaise so that the salad does not slip when assembling and lay out 9 crackers, connecting them tightly to each other. Spread them with the protein mixture, spreading them evenly over the entire surface.

  2. Lay out another row of crackers, add half of the fish mass.

  3. Cover the fish with the next row of cookies. Lubricate it with mayonnaise, sprinkle with ½ portion of green onions, put grated cheese on top (leave a little for decoration). Apply mayonnaise mesh.

  4. We lay out the next 9 pieces of crackers and the remaining fish, sprinkling it with green onions.

  5. Grease the last layer of cracker with mayonnaise, and also grease the sides of the salad. Cover the top with grated yolks.

  6. Decorate the sides of the unsweetened cake with grated cheese, which we saved for this. Cover the dish with cling film and refrigerate for 6-8 hours, during which time the cracker will be well soaked and you can surprise your guests with an original mimosa.

Salad “Bouquet of mimosas” with saury and corn

A similar canned salad recipe is suitable for the table any day.

Cooking will require 20 minutes and the following products:

  • Fish – 1 can;
  • Canned corn – 300 g;
  • 4 cucumbers;
  • 4 eggs;
  • 1 table onion.
  1. Cucumbers are cut into small cubes.
  2. Olives are cut into circles (as in the photo).
  3. The fish is cleaned and mashed with a fork. This needs to be done small.

The ingredients are mixed and seasoned with olive oil.
