  • Boil one fairly large beet until soft and grate it on a medium grater. A large grater can produce quite coarse pieces, so for tenderness, vegetables should be grated using a fine or medium grater.
  • 100 grams of walnuts should be crushed into crumbs. This can be done in a coffee grinder, blender, or even a regular meat grinder. The entire amount of nuts should be added to the beets and the whole mass should be mixed, adding a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise, a clove of garlic from a garlic press and salt to taste.
  • Carrots (two medium-sized fruits) should be peeled and grated raw on a medium-sized grater.
  • 100 grams of dried apricots should be soaked for 10 minutes in boiling water so that it becomes soft and sweet.
  • The dried apricots are chopped with a knife and added to the grated carrots. The whole mass is salted to taste and mixed with mayonnaise (here you can choose whether to add garlic or not).
  • Hard cheese (use aromatic and creamy: grande, milk or sour cream, as well as with the taste of baked milk - such cheese will improve the taste of the salad) grate on a medium grater (200 grams).
