I often cook with homemade turkey meat, so I try different recipes. Recently I baked turkey fillet in the oven with mozzarella, spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. It turned out very tasty, juicy and healthy!
Turkey in soy sauce with ginger in the oven
Ginger penetrates deeply into the meat, making it especially flavorful.

How to cook:
- Place half the butter in a bowl. It should be soft.
- Add soy sauce, honey, lemon juice here. Peel a small piece of ginger and grate it. Add to other products, mix. Season.
- Cut the washed meat into portions. Transfer the bird to the spicy marinade until it coats it. Leave for one and a half hours in a cool place.
- Turn on the oven to preheat at medium temperature.
- Prepare a baking dish by greasing it with olive oil.
- Transfer the bird to the pan and place in the oven for half an hour.
- Pull out the form. The juice that has formed at the bottom needs to be poured into the frying pan.
- Add the remaining butter to it, season, add sugar and put on fire.
- When the mixture is hot, add the pineapple pieces. They need to be peeled and cut in advance in the same way as meat. Fry for a few minutes.

Tip: The pineapple should be fresh so that it is not too sweet. If you don’t have fresh, you should use ground red pepper: it will overcome the excessive sweetness of canned food. In this case, sugar can be excluded.
How to cook “Turkey fillet in the oven”
Prepare the necessary products. Marinate the fillet in soy sauce for at least 2 hours in advance. Cut the mozzarella into thin slices.
Cut the marinated meat in the middle, not all the way through, and open it like a book.
Top half of the meat with spinach, chopped onion, mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes.
Cover the filling with the other half of the meat and secure the edges with toothpicks. Top with French mustard. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil. Bake the meat in an oven preheated to 180°C for 30 minutes.

A minimum of ingredients produces a very juicy turkey that can be served with any side dish.

How to cook:
- Pour soy sauce and 5 tablespoons of water into a bowl. Add sugar here and stir until the grains dissolve.
- Chop the peeled onion.
- Rinse the fillet and then cut into small pieces.
- Heat a spoonful of oil in the multicooker bowl in the “Baking” mode or any other mode at high temperature. Set the time to forty-five minutes.
- Add the onion here and fry it for four minutes.
- Next, add the soy mixture and stir. Season.
- Add the meat, season it a little too, then cover everything with a lid.

Tip: you don’t need to add too much salt, because the sauce contains a sufficient amount of it. For spices, it is better to use herbs or a little mixture of peppers.

How to cook:
- Cut the meat into thin strips.
- Mix honey and sauce and pour the resulting liquid over the turkey.

- Peel the carrots and grate them coarsely or cut them into thin strips.
- Also chop the pepper into strips, removing the seeds.
- Transfer the marinated meat to a frying pan, where you should heat the corn oil in advance.
- Fry for seven minutes, season.
- Next, place the onion here and fry for three minutes.

Delicate sour cream and salty sauce are the ideal combination for poultry meat.

How to cook:
- Rinse the meat and place it in a bowl. Pour in vinegar and add water. The liquid should cover the bird. Set aside for twenty-five minutes. To cover with a lid.

How to cook:
- Tie the sleeve on one side.
- Wash the bird thoroughly. Cutting is not necessary, it is optional. Place in sleeve.
- Add soy sauce and spices, as well as liquid honey.
- Close the other side of the sleeve and shake everything so that the marinade is mixed and distributed over the entire surface. You can also mash the meat a little in your hands and give it a “massage” so that the spices penetrate deeper into the meat.
- Transfer to a baking dish and keep in the oven for about forty minutes, the temperature should be medium.
- Then take out the mold and turn the sleeve over to the other side. Return to the oven and bake for another forty minutes.
- Ten minutes before the end of cooking, open the bag and let the turkey brown.

Turkey sleeve with rosemary
Turkey meat is a dietary product, and what’s best is that it’s very tasty and healthy. There are many options for preparing it, but with this recipe you will get amazingly tender juicy meat with a minimum of effort and spending a little time.
We will need the simplest set of products:
- turkey fillet (2 kg), peeled from films and skin;
- rosemary sprigs;
- soy sauce;
- olive oil;
- French herbs or other spices;
- salt and pepper (black and red).
Turkey meat for this dish can be cut not only from the breast, but also from the drumstick, rinse it thoroughly and dry it. Rub the meat with salt and pepper and spices thoroughly on all sides.
After this, add soy sauce and olive oil (2 tablespoons each). Once again, thoroughly rub all the ingredients so that the salt begins to dissolve and the meat is soaked in the fragrant mixture.
Leave to marinate for 40 minutes, after which we place the turkey in a sleeve and place sprigs of rosemary on top.
We also pour the released marinade into the sleeve, tie the ends and place the dish in the oven, preheated to 200°C for 2 – 2.5 hours.
The times indicated are approximate, it all depends on what part of the turkey you are baking, how the oven works and other individual characteristics. Therefore, watch the process and catch the right moment.
The finished dish can be served with raw chopped or grilled vegetables. The aroma is simply amazing, be sure to try it, especially since the recipe is so simple that even a beginner can handle it.
This baked fillet is also delicious served cold. A piece of cold turkey on a slice of wholemeal bread is a delicious and healthy breakfast.
Useful tips
If the bird is domestic and old, it is better to skin it. This meat will be tougher. Store-bought carcass will be much more tender, so you can leave the skin on. For the dish, it is not necessary to take the breast, because the fillet can be removed from other parts, for example, from the thighs.
You can add a little teriyaki sauce or sweet chili sauce to the soy sauce to enrich the flavor. Don’t be afraid to use a large number of different seasonings or herbs, the main thing is that the different mixtures do not contain salt. For example, suneli hops, coriander, turmeric and paprika are often used.
Juicy and tender turkey meat served for dinner is the best way to end the day. This dish can also be served at a holiday table, and cooking can be postponed until the very last moment. Bon appetit!
Step-by-step preparation
- Wash and dry a small turkey fillet weighing 350-400 grams with a paper towel. Using a wide knife, cut the fillet into two thicknesses. This is done in order to reduce the cooking time of the meat, since a thin layer is marinated and fried much faster.
- Place the layers of poultry meat on a cutting board, press them with the knuckles of your hand clenched into a fist on both sides.
- Peel 4-5 cloves of garlic, crush them with the flat side of a knife, and chop finely. If desired, you can grate the garlic on a coarse grater.
- Season the meat on both sides with ground black pepper to your taste. If desired, sprinkle the meat with your favorite seasoning or herbs.
- Transfer turkey breast to a 1-quart food container. Sprinkle the pieces of meat on both sides with chopped garlic.
- Pour soy sauce (120-150 ml) over the meat in the container so that it covers the pieces almost completely. Leave the meat in the sauce for 15-20 minutes.
- Preheat electric grill to 230°C. Remove the meat from the container and remove the garlic pieces using a spatula. Use tongs to grab a piece of turkey and place it on the grill. Place the second piece of meat into the electric grill.
- Close the lid of the kitchen appliance and fry the turkey for 2-3 minutes. If you increase the frying time, the meat may turn out dry.
Serve the meat with a side dish of mashed potatoes, rice, buckwheat, other cereals, pasta, with fresh vegetable salads or with boiled, stewed vegetables. You can make sandwiches and burgers from this meat, use it for salads and making pizza.
