Step 6. Fry the carrots for about 4 minutes and fill the cauldron with water. In order not to reduce the temperature of the food, I recommend pouring boiling water from a kettle. All foods must be completely covered. Don't worry about too much water, because we'll be adding more potatoes next.

All this time the fire was at maximum, but now it needs to be reduced to medium, maybe even a little lower and simmer the zirvak for about 20-30 minutes.

Step 7. 25 minutes of stewing passed and it was the turn of the potatoes. It needs to be cut quite coarsely, as it must be completely cooked and not fall apart.

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into 4-6 pieces, boil them in a small amount of water.
  2. When boiling, add the ribs and stir.
  3. Peel the onion, cut and fry, add chopped carrots and simmer it all for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add frying to the potatoes when they are almost ready. Stir, add salt, add bay leaf and simmer for ten minutes over low heat.
