I remember in the past, it took me a long time to learn how to properly bake pancakes. For some reason, they came out thick and it was difficult to properly wrap the filling in them. And all this happened until I came across the best recipes for these baked goods with kefir - thin ones, and also with holes, simply amazing.
And the most interesting thing is that everyone can use them, following all the recommendations (when I advertised them among my friends, I heard only good reviews), even novice cooks who just started cooking for the first time do not have any lumps, the dough does not sticks to the pan and the big plus is that thin ones are very good for stuffing compared to thick ones.
In today's episode we will talk about recipes for thin pancakes with holes made with kefir. If necessary, pick up a pen and notepad, and then write down your favorite recipe, which you will prepare in the future for yourself and your household.
Thin kefir pancakes with holes - the right recipe
Let's start with the simplest recipe. These pancakes turn out very tender, thin and incredibly tasty. This is my favorite option. This is how I cook them most often - simple, quick and not expensive.
Ingredients:
- Kefir – 500 ml
- Egg - 2 pcs
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Soda - 0.5 teaspoon
- Flour - 180 gr
- Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons
Preparation:
1. Pour kefir into the bowl in which you will knead the dough. Next, break the eggs into it, add sugar, salt and soda. There is no need to extinguish the baking soda in advance; kefir will cope with this task perfectly on its own. Stir it all.
2. Next, gradually add flour to this mixture. It is better to sift it through a sieve. As soon as you add one portion, immediately stir thoroughly until the lumps dissolve. And so on until you have added the entire measured amount. Finally, add vegetable oil and stir again.
3. Heat a frying pan and grease with vegetable oil. Further in the frying process there is no need to lubricate it anymore, this should be enough for you. Pour a portion of the dough onto it and spread it around the entire circumference. Fry each side until golden brown.
4. Place the finished pancakes in a plate and grease with butter. This is not necessary, but they will turn out juicier, more tender and more appetizing.

3. Add three eggs to the bowl.
4. Add three spoons of sugar and salt.
5. Mix our products thoroughly in a bowl. I use a whisk, but you can knead everything using a mixer. There should be no lumps in the dough.

Add three tablespoons of oil (refined) and add 1/3 teaspoon of soda. Knead the dough thoroughly again.
7. Leave our dough for half an hour at room temperature. After this time, put the frying pan on the fire to heat up.
Lubricate it with refined sunflower oil. I apply it with a silicone brush.
8. Pour one ladle of dough onto a well-heated frying pan and distribute it evenly over the entire surface. And we wait until the bottom of our pancake turns golden brown.
9. Carefully turn our miracle over to the other side with a spatula and wait for it to brown. This takes about 10-15 seconds, because they fry very quickly. Be careful not to burn.
10. Then bake the remaining circles. Place the prepared suns on a plate.
The baked beauties are velvety, very tender and melt in your mouth. You can serve them with jam or honey, you can also wrap cottage cheese or fish in them. Enjoy your meal!

During Maslenitsa week you are supposed to bake pancakes every day, so you want to make them varied. Why not try choux pastry pancakes? They turn out more lacy or holey. 2. Then add flour in small portions and mix until smooth. The dough should be a little thick at first. This is fine.
3. When the water boils, add soda to it. The reaction will immediately begin to occur and it will be extinguished. Pour boiling water into the dough in a thin stream and stir constantly. At the end, add vegetable oil and start frying.
4. Heat a frying pan, grease with oil and pour in a portion of the dough. Spread evenly over entire surface. You will immediately notice holes appearing. As soon as one side of your “sun” is browned, immediately turn it over. One side takes no more than 1 minute.
5. After frying, when the pancakes are removed from the pan, grease them with a piece of butter. You can eat it right away, piping hot. While I’m frying, I’m on the defensive all the time, otherwise my family is trying to snatch them off the table ahead of time.

Thin kefir pancakes with holes
I want to offer you a wonderful recipe for thin kefir pancakes with holes. This was my first time cooking with it and I really liked the taste. They come out tender, thin, into a small hole. My ingredients are indicated for 10 pancakes, 16 cm in diameter, this is considered half a serving, so if this is not enough for you, double the ingredients. That is why I indicated 1 egg and yolk, and if you are making a whole portion, then just take 3 eggs.
Thin kefir pancakes with holes are the result of the batter and the reaction of soda with kefir. All the pancakes turn over well, except for the first one, so I advise you to grease the pan with a minimum amount of oil before the first one, but for subsequent ones you don’t need to do this.
I like this recipe for kefir pancakes because they come out very thin and go with any filling, but I like them better with sweet ones. They can be filled with cottage cheese, mushrooms, liver, meat and other fillings, depending on your taste preferences.
Next, I’ll tell you in detail how to make pancakes with kefir so that they turn out really tasty. I also advise you to look at another recipe for delicious pancakes with kefir, but they are custard, as more boiling water is added to them.
Ingredients:
- Kefir – 250 ml.
- Chicken egg – 1 pc.
- Egg yolk – 1 pc.
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Flour – 4 tbsp
- Soda – 0.3 tsp
- Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
How to cook kefir pancakes with holes
Next, I beat everything with a mixer at high speed until light foam, about 2 minutes. Then I add salt, half of the kefir and all the sifted flour. I add 4 tablespoons of it with a small slide.
I beat again with a mixer so that there are no lumps. This will take 30 seconds. Then I add the remaining kefir and soda. Mix with a spatula or whisk until smooth. There is no need to extinguish the baking soda, kefir will do that.
Lastly, add the vegetable oil and mix again.
The consistency is quite liquid, almost the same as milk. It is with this dough that you get really thin kefir pancakes.
Now about how to bake pancakes with kefir. I put the frying pan on the fire and grease it a little with vegetable oil, but only before the first pancake. When it is hot, pour half a ladle of dough into it and turn the pan in different directions so that it is distributed evenly.
Once one side is browned and the edges are golden, I flip it over to the other side and bake for about 30 more seconds. My fire is set to 12 out of 14 possible, this is on an electric stove. Here's how to make pancakes with kefir and then I simply stack them on a plate, although I often fail to stack them, since there are people at home who want to eat them as soon as I remove them from the frying pan. That’s why I also don’t have time to wrap the filling in them.
Here is the correct recipe for thin kefir pancakes with holes. They are really tasty and thin, which is hard not to like. I advise you to use the recipe and prepare them for your family. Bon appetit!
Video on how to make kefir pancakes without soda
I really love pancakes. But I rarely manage to cook them. Maybe I lack skill, but I bake them for a long time and turn them over at the wrong moment, so they tear.
That's why I bake pancakes more often. They are easier to turn over. But then I decided to try to cook the sunshine again.
Found this recipe. The dough is a little similar to what I use to make pancakes.
Only without soda, but with oil. This was a revelation for me.
At first I thought that the oil was supposed to be used to fry our beauties. But it turned out that it is added to the dough itself! It becomes smoother from this.
And yet, it never occurred to me to mix the ingredients with a mixer. I always used a spoon or whisk. Mixing the dough with a mixer is much faster, of course. Yes, and flour lumps break up more easily.
I liked this option, simple ingredients, quick cooking method. The pancakes turn out thin and not rubbery.
Very tasty, my family was satisfied. The dough is not sweet. So you can eat them with meat and sour cream, or with jam or condensed milk.
Many housewives love sunshine because the ingredients in them are simple and affordable. Found in almost every kitchen. Make them quickly.
Children usually love sun circles. And the kids won’t have to be persuaded to eat. For example, for meat eaters, you can wrap ham.
This is a simple, but at the same time so varied food that will not leave anyone indifferent. Great luck and see you again!

Delicious pancakes with kefir - the best recipes for thin pancakes with holes and cooking secrets
Pancakes with kefir are an original Russian traditional food - tasty and filling. Not a single holiday is complete without them. This dish is perfect as a snack, and a variety of fillings will make them even tastier and more nutritious.
Currently, there are a huge number of pancake recipes. This article will present the most interesting and tasty ones with a detailed description of preparation.
Pancakes with kefir - classic step-by-step recipe
- Millet flour – 1 tbsp.
- Kefir – 500 ml.
- Eggs – 2.
- Sugar, salt.
- Soda - a pinch.
- Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp.
The first step in preparing any flour product is, of course, beating eggs with the addition of sugar and salt. It is more convenient to beat with a mixer or blender. If you don’t have either, then a regular whisk or fork will do. Beating with a mixer gives the dough a special fluffiness and copes well with lumps.
The second step will be mixing soda and kefir to obtain a reaction. This will give the pancakes delicacy and fluffiness. Next, pour kefir and soda into the egg mixture and mix.
The next cooking step is adding flour. This needs to be done in portions. This method will help create a minimum number of lumps.
Pour vegetable oil into the resulting dough to prevent burning and sticking.
Bake in a well-heated frying pan. Pour a small amount of dough and spread it in a small layer over the surface.
Then carefully flip over with a spatula and cook the other side. You should take a frying pan that has a non-stick coating. The pancakes will not stick to it, and it will be convenient to turn them over.

If you pour it in immediately, the dough will curl disproportionately. Therefore, you need to pour in a thin stream, stirring constantly. The dough should foam.
At the next stage comes the turn of flour. You can add everything at once, because... Flour dissolves in hot water without forming lumps.
Pour in baking soda and sunflower oil. The less soda you put in, the smaller the holes will be.
The dough should end up being very liquid. Heat a frying pan and grease the surface with a couple of drops of oil. The dough should be taken no more than 2/3 of a regular ladle. Fry for 2 minutes each side.

- Eggs – 2
- Sugar – 2.5 tbsp.
- Salt - a pinch
- Soda – 1 tsp.

Secrets of making delicious thin pancakes with holes
In a traditional recipe, you need to maintain the proportion: for 1 tbsp. flour you need to take 2 tbsp. kefir
Be sure to sift the flour. This process saturates the flour particles with oxygen. This makes the dough lighter.
The proportion also exists when mixing eggs and flour: for 1 tbsp. There should be 1 egg of flour. If you want filled pancakes, you should add more eggs, because... This will give density to the dough, and the pancakes will not tear when twisted.
Under no circumstances should you dump all the ingredients into one bowl at once. This will lead to the formation of a large number of lumps. It is necessary to mix the bulk and separately liquid components separately.
Adding sugar to pancakes will add a special taste, even if you are planning a meat filling.
For spring rolls, just fry them on one side. When wrapping, the unfried side should be on top. Then fry wrapped.
Adding boiling water to the dough will give it delicacy and holes.
Wipe the pan before frying a new pancake. This will remove residue from the past and lubricate the pan, which will improve the release of the pan.
To determine the degree of roasting, just look at its edge. If it has acquired a golden hue, then the pancake is ready.
The most important rule is that the pan must be well heated. Otherwise it will stick to the pan.
To prevent the pancakes from cooling down, you can cover them with a clean towel; this will allow them to remain hot until the start of the meal.
Place on a plate of suitable diameter. If you have pancakes with butter, then it can flow past the plate.
There are many ways to serve pancakes: they can be folded into triangles, halves or rolled into a tube.
Well, my dear gourmets and sweet tooths, now you know all the best pancake recipes - it’s time to get ready for Broad Maslenitsa! How I love these winter farewells! A merry party and an abundance of food!

Simple and delicious openwork pancakes made with kefir and boiling water
Pancakes are a dish that is quickly prepared and eaten even faster. If you don’t know what to please your loved ones, bake them. They will definitely be happy.
I bake beauties very often. It’s very convenient for me that you can add different toppings to the same food. Depending on this, its purpose changes. If you wrap meat in them, there will be dinner. If you serve them with sour cream or wrap cottage cheese, then this is breakfast. And with jam or condensed milk, this is a complete dessert.
When it comes to cooking sunshine, I am a seasoned cook. In addition to the usual ones made from wheat flour, I tried to cook from different types. I had pancakes made from rice flour, pancakes made from buckwheat and rye. Now I decided to cook them in boiling water. I was very intrigued by this name.
It turned out that a glass of boiling water is simply added to the most ordinary recipe, but, to be honest, I didn’t notice much of a difference in the result.
I have also never added vegetable oil to the dough. And probably in vain. It makes the dough smoother. The solar circles turn out thin, delicate, and very beautiful. And most importantly, they are easy to prepare and cook quickly. In general, I consider the experiment a success.
Ingredients:
- Kefir – 500ml;
- Flour – 300g;
- Egg – 2 pcs.;
- Sugar – 2 tablespoons;
- Soda - 1\2 teaspoon;
- Salt – 1\2 teaspoon;
- Boiling water – 1 glass;
- Vegetable oil – 4 tablespoons.
Preparation progress:
1. Break 2 eggs into a bowl, add half a teaspoon of salt and two tablespoons of sugar.
For those who like it sweeter, you can increase the amount of sugar.
Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk.
2. Add half a liter of our fermented milk product at room temperature. Add half a teaspoon of soda to a glass of boiling water, stir and add to the bowl with the future dough.
In order for it to be more airy and less lumps to form, the flour is first sifted. Soda is needed to extinguish the acid of kefir.
3. Pour in 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil, mix and add flour. It is advisable to sift it, then the dough will turn out more airy and fluffy.
4. Place the frying pan on the fire and grease it with oil.
For the first time, be sure to grease the pan.
And then you can look at the condition, if there is still a lot of oil, then do not add, if it burns, then lubricate it again.
5. Turn the pancake over to the other side as soon as the edge turns brown. Bake for half a minute and place on a plate.
If desired, you can grease each one with oil, so they will not stick together or become stale. Serve with sour cream, jam or condensed milk.
This option is simple, anyone can do it, even a novice cook. It doesn’t take much time to prepare, but the result is great. Your loved ones will appreciate it.
