The advantage of the dessert is that you can add slightly spoiled, but not dark, banana pulp to it and this will not spoil the taste one bit.

  • flour – 225 gr.;
  • sugar – 100 gr.;
  • soda – 0.5 tsp;
  • slab white chocolate – 65 gr. (grate on a fine grater and put in the refrigerator);
  • banana puree – 300 gr.;
  • sour cream or yogurt (without additives) – 150 gr.;
  • starch (baking powder can be used) – 1 tsp;
  • melted and cooled butter – 100 g;
  • eggs – 2 pcs. (large).

Total preparation and baking time: 45-50 minutes.

Banana pancakes can already be considered a traditional American dessert, but we are better known as pancakes - it’s good that, regardless of the name, these pancakes will be very tasty and tender. I want to say right away that for these we will need very ripe soft bananas - they are easier to mash and cook. Take a good frying pan to cook them and do not use oil when frying.

Ingredients for banana pancakes

  • Ripe banana - 1 large fruit
  • Wheat flour - 90 grams
  • Milk (fat) - 150 milliliters
  • Chicken egg - 1 piece
  • Butter - 20-25 grams
  • White sugar - 20 grams
  • Baking powder - 2 teaspoons
  • Baking soda - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Table salt - one pinch

How to make banana pancakes

First of all, combine the dry ingredients - in a small container, thoroughly mix table salt, wheat flour, sugar, soda and baking powder.

Using an immersion blender or a regular fork, puree the banana without lumps. Use slightly overripe bananas.

Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave. Separate one chicken yolk from the white. We'll need the protein a little later.

Beat the yolk gradually adding milk, banana puree and butter, continue beating the ingredients for a minute. Now combine the resulting mass with the dry (previously combined) ingredients. Using a whisk or mixer, carefully mix everything. Beat the remaining egg white thoroughly and add it to the dough.

Heat a dry, clean frying pan and pour the dough, forming pancakes of the size we need. If you are using a special frying pan with “moulds” for pancakes, simply fill them with dough. You need to turn the pancakes over when bubbles appear on the surface. As a result, we will get 6 or 9 pancakes. Drizzle them with some delicious condensed milk, honey or your favorite cherry jam before serving.
