A fragrant pie with jam for tea - what could be better? It can be baked in a slow cooker. A delicious sweet pie with apple jam will turn out just as good in a cartoon as in the oven, I guarantee that.
Pie with jam in a slow cooker
The main ingredient for making a pie is jam made from sour fruits or berries. But if you have a jar of any jam left, feel free to use it, such baked goods will also turn out tasty and satisfying. We suggest baking a pie with cranberry jam in a slow cooker.
Products:
- cranberry jam – 1 glass;
- eggs – 2 pcs.;
- flour – 2.5 cups (a little less, depending on how the dough takes shape);
- soft butter – 100 g;
- sugar – 0.5 cups;
- baking powder – 1 tsp.
How to make a jam pie in a slow cooker:
- The butter should be soft, so take it out of the refrigerator in advance. We leave it on the table and while we get to preparing other components for the test.
- To knead the dough, we need a deep bowl: beat in 2 eggs, add sugar. Beat the mixture using a mixer or whisk.
- Add soft butter to the egg-sugar mixture and gradually mix it with a spoon or fork until the dough is homogeneous.
- Sift the flour through a sieve into a separate bowl, add baking powder and mix.
- Combine the flour with the liquid component of the dough and mix all the components thoroughly with a spoon.
- The dough should be soft, but not too tight. Wrap it in film and put it in a cold place for 1 hour (in winter the dough can be placed on a glassed-in loggia, in summer - on the bottom shelf in the refrigerator). If you are short on time, you can immediately put the bundle in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- We take the cooled dough out of the refrigerator and divide it into 2 parts, leaving one larger part, this will be the main cake, and the second smaller one - for decorating the top.
- Lubricate the walls and bottom of the multicooker bowl with oil (lightly). Roll out a large lump of dough on the table with a rolling pin, or you can form a layer of dough directly in the mold. Don’t forget to make low sides so that the jam remains inside and does not flow to the bottom of the mold.
- All that remains is to worry about the filling - it will be cranberry jam. Spread the jam with a spoon and smooth it out. We make sure that it does not spill over our dough sides. It is better to put less filling than to regret later about unsuccessful baking.
- Now we take the remaining dough and pinch off small pieces from it with our hands and put it on the jam. And so on until the dough is completely finished. You should end up with crumbs. You can do it differently and put this piece in the freezer, and then, when you pour out the jam, take it out and grate the cold dough on a coarse grater, evenly distributing the pieces over the surface of the filling. It will turn out even more beautiful. The jam will “peek out” from under the dough, that’s how it should be.
- We install the multicooker bowl into the device, turn on the “Baking” program and set the time. It will take 1 hour and 20 minutes to prepare the pie with jam in a slow cooker.
- After the warning signal, you need to turn off the device, open the multicooker lid and remove the pie along with the bowl. Place the pan on a tray (since it is hot) and leave for 10 minutes. During this time, the cake will cool down a little and can be removed from the bowl. If you see that the edges of the pie have begun to lag behind the pan, you can carefully remove the baked goods and place them on a wide, flat plate. Don’t worry, the jam pie won’t shrink in the slow cooker.
- We decorate the top of the pie as your imagination dictates: sprinkle with powdered sugar, chocolate or coconut shavings, and add fresh berries.

Cooking with milk
Another simple but incredibly tasty pie, where the filling is aromatic jam. You can take any preparation, it all depends on the taste preferences of the hostess.
First, you should start preparing the components.
For baking you will need:
- fresh milk – 0.5 l;
- wheat flour – 2 tbsp;
- eggs – 2 pcs.;
- sugar – 1 tbsp;
- natural honey – 100 g;
- soda – ½ tsp;
- cocoa powder – 15 g;
- ground cinnamon – 1.5 g.
Step-by-step preparation looks like this:
- First you need to mix ghee, granulated sugar and eggs in a large bowl; you can do this using a mixer.
- Add baking soda and ground cinnamon to them.
- Sift the flour and add it to the rest of the ingredients, but do this gradually, remembering to constantly stir the mixture.
- Grease the multicooker bowl with butter and pour the liquid base into it.
- Spread the jam on the surface of the dough, you can even put a few whole berries.
Turn on the device, setting the “Baking” mode, after 20 minutes the cake can be taken out. Sprinkle the finished product with cocoa powder, then it will look even more appetizing.
Pie with jam in a slow cooker using kefir
When you want to cook something tasty and quickly, we suggest using this recipe and baking a pie with jam in a slow cooker using kefir. The dough prepares very quickly, and you can use any filling. If you make a pie with jam from sweet berries, the amount of sugar can be reduced to taste.
Pie ingredients:
- jam – 1 glass;
- kefir – 250 g;
- sugar – 100 g;
- egg – 1 pc.;
- flour – 2 cups;
- soda (quench with vinegar) – 1 tsp.
Recommendations for preparing jam pie in a slow cooker:
- Pour the jam into a deep bowl (today we are making a pie with strawberry jam in a slow cooker), add kefir, stir.
- Add baking soda, previously quenched with vinegar, to the mixture and wait until the reaction is complete. Kefir, combining with soda, will release gases and a white foam will appear.
- Leave our dough for 2 minutes. After this, you can beat in the egg and add the flour sifted through a sieve in advance. It is always necessary to prepare the flour before kneading the dough - then the baked goods will turn out airy, since the flour, sifted through a sieve, is freed from small particles of debris and dust and is saturated with oxygen.
- Knead the dough, it will turn out liquid, like pancakes. If you think that strawberry jam does not impart its flavor to the dough, you can enrich the baked goods and add a little vanilla sugar or vanillin powder.
- Pour the dough into the multicooker mold, not forgetting to grease the inside of the pan with oil.
- The only thing left is to install the traditional “Baking” program for preparing any baked goods and set the time. To prepare a pie with jam in a slow cooker, set the time to 65 minutes.
- After an hour with a small “tail”, when the device notifies you about the end of the program, you need to check the readiness of our pie. In order not to waste precious time and not to spoil all the ingredients, we check the readiness of the baked goods with a wooden skewer. Simply insert the stick into the cake and remove immediately. It is important to try to remove the jam pie from the multicooker very carefully so as not to damage it. To do this, many housewives recommend using a bowl for steaming dishes. It needs to be inserted into the mold directly from above and using silicone potholders, carefully turn the contents of the bowl over. The cake will just end up on the pan.
- You can immediately transfer the jam pie prepared in a slow cooker to a dish, decorate the top, or immediately serve the baked goods to the table.
You can turn a simple pie into a real culinary masterpiece if you decorate the pale top beautifully. Baking in a slow cooker always turns out pale, the bottom turns brown, but the top remains light. To hide this, you can cover it with powder. Powdered sugar, whipped cream, multi-colored food beads, fresh berries or pieces of fruit will do. To bake a delicious and quick dessert you need to prepare:
- kefir – 300 ml;
- sugar – ½ cup;
- wheat flour – 2 tbsp;
- melted butter – 50 g;
- baking soda – 5 g;
- any jam – ½ tbsp..
Step-by-step process for making sweet pastries:
- Mix granulated sugar with kefir, for which you can use a whisk or use a kitchen mixer.
- Add soda, prepared flour and liquid butter to the base, beat everything thoroughly again.
- Pour in the jam; the consistency of the resulting dough should resemble sour cream.
- Place the mixture in a multicooker cup and set the “Bake” mode.
All you have to do is wait 15 minutes, then take out the pastries and serve with tea.
Pie with plum jam in a slow cooker
From the ingredients available in the refrigerator, you can prepare a very tasty pie with jam in a slow cooker. For the filling we suggest using plum jam. It is desirable that it is not too thick, but not sparse.
Products:
- butter – 100 g;
- flour - 3 cups;
- eggs – 2 pcs.;
- plum jam – 1 glass;
- sugar – 1 glass (if the jam is sweet, then half a glass);
- baking powder – 1 tsp.
How to make a jam pie in a slow cooker:
- Prepare the dough: combine softened butter with sugar and eggs. You should get a homogeneous light mass.
- Sift the flour directly into the same container, add baking powder and knead the dough. It should be plastic, homogeneous and without lumps.
- We divide our dough into 2 parts - large and smaller. A large piece is useful for forming the base, the rest is for decorating the top to cover the filling.
- Place both dough balls in separate bags and place in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. If time is pressing, then you can put the dough in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- When the time is up, carefully roll out a large piece of cold dough with a rolling pin and transfer it to a multicooker mold (grease the bottom and walls with oil).
- We form low sides from the dough. We try to lightly press the dough to the bottom.
- Take the plum jam and spread it over the dough with a spoon. It is best to take medium-thick jam, because liquid jam will greatly saturate our dough with moisture and leak out, which will burn, while too thick jam is difficult to spread on soft dough.
- Grate the second part of the dough on a coarse grater so that the crumbs cover the jam.
- Set the cooking mode for the pie with jam in the multicooker to “Baking”, time – 55 minutes. The duration of operation will depend on the power of the device. You may need to extend the baking time for the pie by an additional 20-40 minutes. Regulate this process yourself, focusing on the readiness of the pie (check with a wooden match or toothpick).
- When the appliance completes the cooking process, leave the cake in the multibowl for 10 minutes and then carefully transfer it to a flat dish.
You can serve the pie with jam prepared in a slow cooker immediately by cutting it into pieces. If you have a little time, decorate the top of the pie with powdered sugar or beautifully arrange pieces of fresh seasonal berries or fruits. Help yourself!

Required ingredients:
- premium flour - ½ tbsp.;
- granulated sugar – 2/3 tbsp.;
- chicken egg – 5 pcs.;
- starch – 100 g;
- table margarine – 100 g;
- table salt – 1 pinch;
- vanillin – ½ tsp;
- any jam.
Step-by-step process for making dessert:
- Beat 5 eggs and granulated sugar until fluffy foam forms; this can be done with a mixer for 5 minutes or with a regular whisk, but then the working time will increase.
- Grind the butter and then add it to the egg mixture.
- Sift the flour and gradually add to the remaining ingredients.
- Add vanillin, salt and knead everything thoroughly.
All that remains is to pour the resulting mass into the multicooker bowl and spread the jam on top. The baking process lasts 25 minutes.
Pie with jam in a slow cooker and nuts
To give the pie a special taste, you can use not only jam, but also various additives. Add some chopped walnuts, halves of peanuts or almonds to the filling. And aromatic additives will help enrich the taste of the dough: cinnamon goes well with apple jam, and lemon or orange zest is suitable for any filling.
Ingredients for making jam pie in a slow cooker:
- flour - 4 cups;
- margarine – 150 g;
- eggs – 3 pcs.;
- sugar - 1 glass;
- apple jam – 6 tbsp;
- cinnamon – 1 tsp;
- baking powder – 1 tsp.
Step-by-step preparation of jam pie in a slow cooker:
- We use apple jam as a filling; it can be pieces of apples boiled with sugar or apple jam. The main thing is that the jam is not too thick.
- Beat soft margarine with sugar (add cinnamon immediately) and eggs.
- Add sifted flour, previously combined with baking powder.
- Mix all components. You can first start kneading the dough with a spoon, and then continue with your hands. The main thing is that it turns out homogeneous and soft, but not too dense.
- Wrap the dough ball in cling film and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour or in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- When the dough has cooled, you can divide it into 2 parts (larger and smaller) and start preparing the pie with jam in a slow cooker.
- Grease the multicooker bowl with any oil and form a round layer from more than half of the dough.
- Place the dough in the mold so that you get low sides (up to 2 cm).
- Now it's time for the filling - pour the jam and spread it with a spoon. Make sure that the filling does not leak over the sides.
- We pinch off small pieces from the dough and place them on top of the jam; if there are gaps left, it’s not a big deal.
- You can close the lid of the device and turn on the “Baking” program. We set the cooking time - 1 hour plus 10 minutes for rest.
- We check the readiness of the jam pie in the slow cooker with a thin wooden stick. If the cake is baked, turn off the appliance and leave the baking for 10 minutes. During this time, it will cool down a little and you can transfer the pie to a beautiful dish.
Decorate the top of the pie as your imagination dictates and cut it into portions. Serve the pie with jam, prepared in a slow cooker, with tea or any other drinks. In hot weather, you can cook compote from fresh fruits and berries or pour chilled milk into cups. Help yourself!
Option with strawberry jam

Ingredients you will need to make the dessert:
- premium flour – 150 g;
- sugar – 100 g;
- butter – 100 g;
- walnuts – 70 g;
- lemon juice – 50 ml;
- citrus fruit zest – 50 g;
- egg yolks – 2 pcs.
In addition, you need to have filling ingredients on hand:
- granulated sugar – 80 g;
- egg whites – 5 pcs.;
- strawberry jam – 50 gr.
To get sweet pastries, you need to do the following:
- Make the filling: beat the egg whites with sugar and jam.
- Grind the sweet crystals with egg yolks, add soft butter to them, and beat everything with a whisk.
- Sift the wheat flour, add lemon zest and walnuts, which have previously been chopped.
- Knead the mixture thoroughly and sprinkle with lemon juice.
- Grease the bowl, pour in the flour base and bake for 20 minutes.
- Take out the pie, treat it with the strawberry mixture, and continue the process for another 20 minutes.
The fragrant dessert is ready, you can invite your family to the table, everyone will like this delicacy.
Pie with jam and raisins in a slow cooker
When you want to diversify the classic recipe for making a simple pie with jam in a slow cooker, you can experiment and knead shortbread dough and add a handful of raisins to the filling. The taste of such baked goods will be different from the classic jam pie prepared in a slow cooker.
Products:
- any jam – 7 tbsp;
- flour – 300 g;
- raisins – 150 g;
- margarine – 25 g;
- low-fat kefir – 150 g;
- eggs – 1 pc.;
- baking powder - 1 tsp;
- sugar – 125 g;
- vanilla sugar – 1 sachet.
Making a pie with jam in a slow cooker:
- If you want the dough to be loose, then you don’t have to add the egg. Instead of raisins, you can put pieces of dried apricots, prunes or nuts.
- Melt the margarine in a multicooker using the “Frying” program, set the time to 4 minutes.
- Leave the margarine in the mold, adding the egg, kefir, sugar with vanillin and pre-sifted flour mixed with baking powder. Mix the ingredients with a silicone spatula so as not to scratch the coating of the bowl.
- The dough should turn out liquid and be homogeneous (additives do not count).
- We leave most of the dough in the form of a multicooker.
- We put the filling on the dough - you can use any jam, but not too liquid.
- Pour out the remaining half of the dough and at this point the preparation of the jam pie in the slow cooker can be considered almost complete. We entrust the rest of the work to our assistant. Turn on the “Baking” program, set the time to 1 hour.
- After the sound signal, you can turn off the device and open the lid. Let the jam pie prepared in the slow cooker cool slightly. Place the finished baked goods on a plate.
