Hi all! I have again made a selection of cool dishes from simple products :) Among our family recipes, pumpkin with apples in a slow cooker occupies a special place. This is one of my favorite fall dishes.

Grandma knew how to bake these gifts from the garden with sugar like no one else. I remember very well the wonderful aroma that spread throughout the house when grandma opened the oven. Then, when we got a slow cooker, I began to prepare such a dish myself.

It turns out much faster, and there is more room for imagination.

I like to add apples, they add a sweet and sour taste. Sometimes I also add cinnamon and other spices like ginger or nutmeg, which also perfectly highlight the taste.

When I want something satisfying, I make manti with pumpkin and minced meat in a slow cooker. Or I cook sweet porridge with rice. It lifts your spirits perfectly in the morning and is also just what you need for your health.

By the way, if you don’t add sugar, you can eat the dish even on a diet!

This is the easiest way, I use it very often. It turns out to be a light and tasty dish, an ideal snack. Children simply adore this afternoon snack - juicy and very aromatic.

Take:

  • 1 kg pumpkin;
  • 2 tsp cinnamon;
  • 2 medium sized apples;
  • 1-2 tsp. sugar (optional);
  • 1/2 multi-cup water.

How to cook:

1. Cut the pumpkin in half, discard the seeds and peel off the skin. Cut into cubes of approximately 2 cm.

When it’s chilly outside in autumn, the body asks for something satisfying. For this case, we have a special recipe for rice porridge. The dish is especially good for breakfast and is extremely healthy for a child. One of my friends makes this porridge with milk. Now it’s up to you to decide which method you like best.

Prepare the following ingredients:

  • 200 g pumpkin;
  • 2 multi-cups of rice (volume 150 g);
  • 150 g hard sweet and sour apples;
  • 60 g sunflower oil;
  • 4 multicups of water;
  • salt;
  • 1 tbsp. Sahara;
  • cinnamon and honey - to taste and desire.

Cooking steps:

1. Wash the rice several times in advance and soak it for 1 hour. Then drain the water.

  • Apples – 130 g (1 piece)

  • Milk 3.2% - 215 g (1 tbsp)
  • Granulated sugar - 21.5 g (1 tbsp "heaped")
  • Semolina - 32 g (1 tbsp + 1 tsp)

Ingredients:

  • Pumpkin – 250 g
  • Apples - 1 pc.
  • Eggs - 1 piece
  • Milk 3.2% - 0.5 tbsp
  • Granulated sugar - 0.5 tbsp.
  • Semolina - 1/4 tbsp.
  • Butter - 1 tsp
  • Sour cream 20% - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon, vanillin or nutmeg - optional.

Cooking technology:

  1. Pour a glass of milk into the multicooker pan.
  2. Grate pumpkin and apples, peeled and seeded, on a coarse grater or chop in a blender. Place in a multicooker pan.
  3. Setting up the multicooker mode:
      Baking mode
  4. Time 20 minutes
  5. Simmer the pumpkin-apple mixture, stirring occasionally.
  6. Pour the semolina into the multicooker pan in a thin stream, stirring constantly and avoiding the formation of lumps.

Pumpkin-apple puree in a slow cooker can be prepared in two ways: by regular cooking in a bowl and by steaming in a special container.

The first method of preparing baby puree in a slow cooker is very simple. Wash the apples, cut into 2-4 parts, remove the core with seeds, as well as the petioles. You don’t need to remove the peel from the apples; when you beat the puree in a blender, it will easily grind.

Peel the pumpkin and rinse thoroughly. Cut into small pieces. Pour some cold water into the multicooker bowl, add chopped apples and pumpkin, close the lid and start the “stew” program. Cooking time – 20 minutes.

After turning off the multicooker, transfer the apples and pumpkin to the blender bowl.

Beat the products until you obtain a homogeneous smooth puree. If the puree is too thick, you can add a little water from the bowl in which the apples and pumpkin were cooked.

Transfer some of the puree to a saucer and leave to cool. Place the rest of the puree in sterilized jars and put it in the refrigerator, where it can be stored for several days.

During this time, the apple and pumpkin will become very soft. In addition, the nutrients from the fruit will not go into the water, but will remain inside.

The final stage of preparing baby puree is to puree the finished products using a blender. The peel of a steamed apple is very easy to remove, so it is worth removing it before beating. You can add a little butter to this puree, if, of course, the child is already receiving this product.
