I just love jellied pies because they are very simple and easy to prepare. Because you don’t have to fuss with the dough, knead it with your hands, or waste your precious time standing at the stove for three hours.

And I am always looking for interesting, and, most importantly, quick recipes and have already tried a lot of different pies with batter: with cabbage and sour cream, with minced meat, and with eggs. In general, this is the fastest way to whip up something for dinner or unexpected guests.

The whole cooking process comes down to preparing the filling and mixing the ingredients for the dough... and that’s it! Your oven will do the rest, and you can devote this time to your own business.

The basis for the dough can be different, in this article I want to share with you recipes for kefir pies. They turn out very airy, tasty, and the filling, in this case cabbage, is juicy and light. But at the same time, this is a very satisfying dish, like any other pastry.

Jellied pie with cabbage on kefir - quick recipe

I introduce you to the first recipe for jellied pie with kefir. This recipe can be called classic, and all the others are variations of this one. The cooking technology is very simple: prepare the filling, make the dough, pour the filling into the oven. What could be simpler? But despite its simplicity, the pie tastes great.

Ingredients: filling:

  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Carrots - 1 pc.
  • Cabbage – 500g.
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Pepper - 1/2 tsp.

dough:

  • Kefir - 1.5 tbsp.
  • Soda - 1 tsp.
  • Eggs - 3 pcs.
  • Flour - 1.5 tbsp.

1. Finely chop the onion.

2. Chop the carrots.

3. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and add chopped vegetables into it. Fry for about 3 minutes.

4. While the vegetables are roasting, chop the cabbage. Add it to the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Stir and simmer with the lid closed for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. The filling is ready.

5. Prepare the pie dough. Pour room temperature kefir into a bowl, beat in eggs, add soda.

Mix everything with a mixer. Add flour in portions.

Mix between servings with a mixer. The dough is ready.

6. Take a baking dish. Pour half of the dough into it.

Add all the filling in an even layer, smooth it out

and pour the remaining dough on top.

7. Place the pan in the oven and bake at 200 degrees for 40 minutes.

8. The pie is ready. Transfer it from the mold to a board, cut into portions and serve. You can serve it either cold or hot.

Quick cabbage pie with kefir

Using this recipe, you can quickly and very easily prepare a fragrant, filling and, of course, tasty pie, while you can choose almost any product for the filling, it all depends on your taste preferences and imagination!

Ingredients:

  • White cabbage - 1 piece (small size);
  • Kefir - 1 glass;
  • Eggs - 2 pieces;
  • Wheat flour - 3/4 cup;
  • Soda - 0.5 teaspoons;
  • Cheese, ham, etc. - To taste (for filling, optional).

How to make “Quick cabbage pie with kefir”

Shred or chop the cabbage into small pieces, then place it in a frying pan, add salt and simmer until half cooked. If desired, you can add grated carrots to the cabbage. While the cabbage is cooking, you can make the dough for the pie. To do this, beat the eggs into a bowl, add salt, mix or beat lightly until smooth. Now pour in the kefir and soda, mix everything well again and gradually add all the flour. The dough should be quite liquid, like sour cream. If you decide to add any ingredients to the pie, you need to chop them into small pieces or grate them. To prepare this pie, I chose smoked chicken (it will make the taste and aroma of the dish more interesting), as well as cheese. Take a mold of a suitable size and lightly grease it with vegetable oil. The pie can be made in two ways: either pour out half the dough, then lay out the filling and pour in the remaining dough, or simply mix everything together and pour it into the mold, optionally sprinkling grated cheese on top so that the top ends up more beautiful and rosy. Cheese can also be added as a filling: it also turns out very tasty. You need to bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180-200 degrees, for only 30-40 minutes (depending on the resulting thickness).

Recipe for jellied pie with cabbage and mayonnaise

So, should we just make these pies? Then see how to make it even easier. A wonderful, airy pie with a lot of filling, very easy to prepare. This dish will not leave anyone indifferent.

Ingredients: for the dough:

  • Sour cream – 125g.
  • Flour – 90g.
  • Mayonnaise – 80g.
  • Egg – 3 pcs.
  • Baking powder – 1 tbsp.
  • Salt - to taste (pinch)

For filling:

  • Cabbage – 1/2 head (small)
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp.

1. Shred the cabbage, add salt and crush it a little with your hands, so it will be softer.

2. Now let's prepare the dough. In a cup, combine flour, sour cream, mayonnaise and eggs, mix well until smooth. Add baking powder, salt and mix everything again.

3. Pour the dough over the cabbage and stir.

4. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil, pour the cabbage mixture into it, and place in the oven. Bake for 35 minutes at 180 degrees.

5. The pie is ready. Cut into portions and serve.

How to cook jellied pie in a slow cooker

I am already accustomed to the fact that many people use a slow cooker in all recipes. Well, I have such a recipe. As always, I offer and show, you try and evaluate.

Ingredients: dough:

  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Kefir – 400ml.
  • Vegetable oil – 4 tbsp.
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp.
  • Soda - 0.5 tsp.
  • Sugar – 1 tsp.
  • Flour - 1.5 tbsp.

filling:

  • Cabbage – 600g.
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Egg – 2 pcs.
  • Butter – 30g.
  • Salt – 1 tsp.
  • Vegetable oil – 4 tbsp. for frying

1. Cut the onion into small cubes.

2. Chop the cabbage as finely as possible and pour boiling water over it.

3. Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and fry the onions. Set the “Fry” mode for 15 minutes and place the onion in the bowl. When the onion turns golden,

add the cabbage and simmer along with the onion for the remaining time.

Two minutes before the end of frying the cabbage, add butter, salt and raw eggs to the slow cooker. Mix everything well. After two minutes the filling is ready, transfer it to a plate.

4. While the filling is preparing, prepare the pie dough. In a bowl, combine room temperature kefir, soda, salt, and sugar. Stir. Add eggs, mix again. Start adding flour in portions.

Sift the flour first, this will add fluffiness to the cake.

Mix everything well. When the dough has stood for a couple of minutes, add vegetable oil to it and stir.

The oil will prevent the dough from sticking when baking.

5. Grease the multicooker bowl with oil. Pour in two-thirds of the dough, carefully spread the filling on top, pour in the remaining dough and carefully distribute it.

6. On the multicooker, set the “Baking” mode and the time to 1 hour and 10 minutes.

When the time is up, remove the cake from the bowl, turn it over and send it back. Set the “Fry” mode for another 5 minutes.

Delicious baked goods are ready.

Recipe for pie with cabbage and minced meat in the oven

It is absolutely impossible to ignore a recipe that contains meat. If only because I am a big meat eater myself. But for simplicity and speed of cooking, let's take minced chicken. The result will be simply delicious.

Ingredients: for the dough:

  • Flour – 200g.
  • Kefir - 2.5% 200ml.
  • Mayonnaise – 150g.
  • Eggs - 3 pcs.
  • Soda - 0.5 tsp.
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper - to taste

For filling:

  • Cabbage – 400g.
  • Minced chicken – 500g.
  • Dill - 1 bunch
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp.
  • Curry, ground black pepper - to taste

1. Finely chop the cabbage.

2. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil, add the minced meat and fry over medium heat, stirring until it turns white. Add cabbage and stir-fry for about 5 minutes. Salt, pepper, add spices and remove from heat.

You can use any filling from everything that is in your refrigerator: broccoli, cauliflower, Chinese cabbage, cheese, sausages, ham, any minced meat and any fish fillet.

3. Prepare the dough. Pour room temperature kefir into a bowl, add mayonnaise, eggs, salt, ground pepper, soda and mix. Add sifted flour in portions, stir everything well and let stand for 10-15 minutes. The dough is ready.

4. Finely chop the dill and add to the filling, stir.

5. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and pour in half the dough. Carefully lay out the filling and fill with the remaining dough. Level the surface.

6. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden skewer.

Baking time depends on the ingredients used, the shape and quantity of the cake, and your oven.

7. The jellied pie is ready. Let it cool for about half an hour, cut and serve.

Jellied pie with cabbage and chicken

  • Kefir - 250ml.
  • Mayonnaise – 200g.
  • Eggs - 4 pcs.
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp.
  • Flour – 250g.
  • Baking powder - 1.5 tsp.
  • Sesame - 1 tbsp.

For filling:

  • Chicken fillet – 300g.
  • Cabbage – 300g.
  • Salt, ground pepper - to taste
  • Greens (dill, onion)

1. Heat kefir and pour into a bowl, add mayonnaise, eggs and salt, mix everything. Mix the sifted flour with baking powder and add in portions to a bowl with kefir. Stir the mixture between servings.

2. Finely chop the cabbage, add a little salt and press with your hands so that it releases juice. Finely chop the greens and mix with cabbage. The filling is ready.

3. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces, the smaller the better.

4. Pour half of the dough into the baking dish. Then carefully, in layers, place the cabbage, and chicken pieces on it.

Fill everything with the remaining dough. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

6. Bake in the oven at 170-180 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

The jellied pie is ready. After oven, cool and serve.

Jellied cabbage pie

The filling for such baked goods can be improved as desired. For example, adding boiled eggs or grated cheese to it. But the traditional version includes only 300 g of fried, salted cabbage. Also taken: 1.5-1.7 tbsp. white flour, 1.5 tbsp. low-fat kefir, 3-4 g of baking soda, a pinch of salt and the same amount of nutmeg, 2 chicken eggs.

  1. Fried cabbage is seasoned with nutmeg. The filling is completely ready.
  2. To prepare the jellied dough, you need to pour kefir into the flour and break the eggs. Soda and salt are added last.
  3. The resulting mass is laid out in a suitable form. The filling is distributed on top of it.

A fragrant jellied pie with cabbage on kefir is baked for about 35 minutes at medium temperature.

Kefir pie with cabbage and fish - delicious recipe

Let's try to bake a jellied pie with an unusual recipe. Replace half of the flour with semolina, add canned fish, the taste will be mmmm... delicious. If you are not a fan of semolina, add flour instead.

Ingredients: for the dough:

  • Flour – 125g.
  • Semolina – 125g.
  • Kefir – 250ml.
  • Egg – 2 pcs.
  • Soda – 1 tsp.
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp.
  • Sugar – 1/2 tsp.

For filling:

  • Cabbage – 1/2 head (small)
  • Onions – 2 pcs.
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Canned fish – 1b.
  • Butter – 50g.
  • Milk – 50ml.
  • Salt, pepper, dried dill - to taste
  • Vegetable oil - for frying and greasing the mold

1. Prepare the dough. Pour room temperature kefir into a bowl, add baking soda, stir and let stand for 5 minutes.

2. Add semolina to the bowl, stir. Let stand for 20 minutes for the semolina to swell. Add flour, salt, sugar, eggs and mix everything well.

The batter should be thicker than pancake batter; if it is too thick, add water.

3. Shred the cabbage.

4. Finely chop the onion.

5. Heat a frying pan with vegetable and butter. Lightly fry the cabbage and half the chopped onion. Then add milk, salt, pepper, stir and simmer, covered, until the cabbage is cooked, about 10 minutes. Then remove from heat and cool.

6. Add canned fish and remaining onions to the finished cabbage. The filling is ready.

First remove the bones from the fish and mash them finely.

7. Take a baking dish and grease it with vegetable oil. Pour out half of the dough.

8. Then carefully lay out the filling, make a depression in the middle and crack a raw egg into it.

9. Pour the remaining dough on top.

10. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.

The jellied pie is ready.

On kefir with yeast

To improve the taste of the filling for such baked goods, you need to supplement the cabbage with fried champignons. You will need to take 150 grams of them. In addition to mushrooms, the following will be used: 320 g of fresh cabbage, salt, onion, chicken egg, carrots, a large spoon of vegetable oil and the same amount of sand (sugar), 8 g of quick yeast, 260 ml (2.5%) kefir, 410-430 g light flour.

  1. Shredded, salted cabbage is fried in one frying pan, and small pieces of mushrooms with grated carrots are fried in another. If you want to make the filling fattier, you can cook it in lard.
  2. The contents of both pans are combined.
  3. It is more convenient to use a bread machine to knead the dough. First, all the dry ingredients are poured into the device, then the liquid ones are poured in and the egg is beaten. The kneading program starts for half an hour. If you don’t have such a device at home, you can mix products by hand.
  4. The dough is divided into two parts, each of which is rolled out.
  5. The first one goes on an oiled baking sheet. The filling is distributed over it.
  6. The treat is covered with a second cake layer.
  7. A hole is made in the middle for steam to escape.
  8. The dish is baked for 30-35 minutes in a hot oven.

It is important to constantly monitor the process and prevent the cake from burning. To avoid this, sprinkle a little salt under the baking dish or place a container of water.
